Chapter 2: chap 2
As I arrive at the front door of Sora Cafe, I notice my manager, Shiro restlessly looking at his laptop. His eyes is inky black, he has a very nice wavy browny hair, a big broad shoulder but..if only he's mute. Everything will be perfect.
Then he notice me looking at him.
"Momo! You really came!"
"Yaeh, after all you said you will treat me breakfast today."
"You so easy to please. Btw have you got any idea for your next piece?"
"Ughh, let's order first
okay? I'm hungry."
"Kyo? Come here take her order before she explode."
Then come a waiter name Kyora. He have a nice feature. Dark brown eyes, big eyes, black shining hair.
"Oh my seems like I have lost the bet."
"What bet?"
"Me and Hiro betting whether you will show up or not. Unfortunately, you show up."
"What you betting for?"
"Whoever lost will pay the bill. If Kyo lost he will pay the bill for you and me. If I lost I need to take him to eat hotpot." Said Hiro proudly.
"Sorry Kyo, you a loser this time."
"Hahaha, it's okay. So what do you want to eat today. Fill your stomach to the fullest."
"I will go with iced latte less sugar and the breakfast set. Thank you."
"I will get hot black coffee and chicken sandwich no cucumber."
"Okay, be right back in minutes. Enjoy your talk."
Then Kyo left us. Kyo is only 18, right now he's having a semester break it will over this spring. He said he want to open a cafe when he grad. We became friends because I have helped him in some way."
"So do you have any idea?"
"No, nothing came crosses my mind. I think I need a little break."
"Yeah sure. if you want a little break from writing, after all your lastest work is still a best-selling book this month but you must participate this."
He slid to me a paper written NOVELLA CONTEST WINNER WILL GET 10 000
"sure! let's win this!"
"W-what?! No! No! You be the JURY!"
"Oh..that's make more sense."
"Yeah.. I mean what kind of contest that let a writer in." Kyo suddenly came interrupt. His hand is holding our breakfast.
"Sometime I just wonder you just blur or an idiot." As he set up my meal.
"Don't interrupt older people conversation." Said Hiro.
"Okay Hiro OPPA." Said Kyo as he walking away from us.
I cough loudly. "Sorry what? OPPA? Hahahahhaahaha!" I loughed .
Ughhhhhh... By the way the contest is this Wednesday okay? I will pick u up at 9.30, don't you dare sleep in."
"Okay.. breakfast is on you?"
"Sigh. Yes.. breakfast on me."
I then smile and began scoop my scramble eggs and potato mash.
"And also make sure you brush your hair extra longer. It's up to you if you want to tie your hair or whatever it is." Said Hiro while touching my curly brown hair with concern.
"Yes uncle-that's-bothering."
"Shut up I only 24 and you 22. Call me hyun."
"No! I want to call you OPPA!"
I said jokingly using that kawaii anime voice
"Please don't I feel like I want to bargh Just hearing that."
Then we continue finishing our meal. Hiro than ask question while I was sipping my second iced latte.
"Where are you headed after this?"
"I think I need to do some shopping. after all many things have running out in my apartment."
"Like?"
"Caffeine,tea,battery,hair conditioner and some late night snacks."
"What?! Was all the coffee in your apartment has gone? Are you even human? last time Sora gave you 6 bags of black coffee and Earl tea!"
Sora is my only friends that I keep on contact since highschool, she didn't went to uni (same as me) because have a financial problem so she went to do some work and open a cafe. I also help her a little bit.
"Did someone said my name?"
Suddenly a beautiful girl pop out of nowhere said that as she coming closer toward me and Hiro. Sora have a really beautiful feature, light blue ocean eyes, honey blonde long straight hair, tiny waist and natural long eyelashes.
"Sora! Scold your friend! Remember the bag of tea and caffeine you gave her last time?"
"Uhuh..yeah why?"
"She has finish it all"
Her eyes widened.
"What? Momo-chi! Are you alright? I gave it like at least a week ago! You could have died from to much caffeine."
"And she's planning to buy some more!"
"Oh gosh! No!"
"Momo you should
stop your addiction."
"Sigh. You guys are overreacting."
"No, we not!"said Sora and Hiro at the same time.
"Okay, okay I won't go buy it. This is my last coffee for this week."
"Good. I want to see how it's turn out for sis Momo." Said Kyo who is almost give me heart attack standing behind me.
