Chapter 3: Chapter 3
𝓚𝓲𝓶 𝓙𝓪𝓮-𝓱𝓮𝓮
We spent the day fooling around. After Jimin and I got out of the water we joined everyone else for a game of volleyball.
Around 3pm, Jin, Hobi and Joon went to get dinner started and Yoongi went to rest while Jimin and Taehyung started building sand castles. Jungkook buried himself and I laid down to tan.
Taehyung went up to Jungkook and started making a sand figure around Jungkook. Jimin on the other hand, Threw a handful of sand at me causing me to scream and I quickly jumped from my chair trying to get the sand from out of my hair and let me tell you, some got in my eye so I was partially blind.
"You ass! I can barely see! Wait until I catch you, Your so dead!" I yelled as I wiped sand from my right eye, Jimin laughing in the background.
Once I finally could see, Jimin had already started running and I took off after him. Shouting a few curse words at him and threatening that I was going to end his life once I got my hands on him.
"Catch me if you can, Jaehee!" Jimin laughed turning around and started jogging backwards, watching me run after him. He runs fast but I ran faster.
I finally caught up and I jumped on him tackling him to the floor. I landed on his chest with a thud "oof." I mumble but look up into jimins eyes and smile "I caught you."
Jimin was smiling as he stared into my eyes, if he were to lift his head a little higher our lips would touch. A small smile was on my lips, Jimin slowly moved his head closer to mine and I moved closer.
Right as our lips were going to touch my stomach decided now was the perfect time to growl. I froze as I'm pretty sure Jimin heard it as well.
Jimin smirked "let's go get you some food" I rolled off of him and landed on the floor. Jimin got up and I laid there for a couple seconds cursing at myself feeling embarrassed.
Doesn't this only happen in dramas? Why did that have to ruin the moment. Then jimin stretched out a hand and helped me up.
"Thanks" I grabbed his hand and mumbled blushing.

We had all gone back to the house to eat dinner out on the deck. Once we were done we hung out for a while in the house and time went by fast it was 10:58pm. So it was dark out already.
We all drank wine with some snacks and let me say this wine was delicious. I had two cups of wine and was on my third. Everyone else was in their rooms or watching tv now.
I was feeling hot so I decided to go for a walk outside, I feel like I'm burning and not to mention I was a bit tipsy.
Slightly stumbling, I held onto the wall for support and with another hand I tried fanning myself because it was really hot and my cheeks felt really hot.
Once I made it outside, I was getting ready to go down the stairs to go to the ocean but a familiar voice stopped me. " What are you doing out here" I stopped at the top of the stairs and turned around to see who's voice it was.
"Oh, I had a couple glasses of wine and my cheeks feel really hot so I wanted to get some fresh air by the ocean." I mumbled feeling my hot cheeks.
The breeze feels so good right now.
"The ocean?" Jimin questioned
I wonder how the water would feel
"Yeah" I nodded my head and was about to take a step down but Jimin stopped me.
"You can't, it's dangerous. Come with me." Jimin said grabbing my wrist, trying to pull me back inside but I pulled back.
"Whyyy..." I said dragging out the y "My face feels like it's on fire!" I brought a hand to my face and touched my right cheek feeling the heat.
Jimin sighed "how hot could it be—" he brought a hand up to touch my cheek then stopped mid sentence after he felt the heat on my cheeks.
My eyes widened once I felt the cool feeling of Jimin's hands on my face "ahhh, that feels nice and cool." I smiled feeling refreshed.
"Your right, your face is pretty hot." Jimin agreed then brought both hands to my face
I smiled again "ahh that feels great." I held onto both of his hands on my face as I felt myself cooling down.
"It feels good?" Jimin asked and I nodded "yes it feels nice. " I closing my eyes taking in the coolness of his hands.
"Who told you to drink so much alcohol?" Jimin said worried as he held both hands against my face, I felt him looking at my face.
Both my cheeks were squished together as he held my cheeks but I didn't care, I felt refreshed.
Something told me to open my eyes, so I did and saw that Jimin was already looking into my eyes, his face was getting closer to mine, my breathing stopped.
Then he stopped and shook his head, he let go of my right cheek and with his left hand he pulled onto my left cheek "lets go." He said pulling my cheek as he walked towards the house.
"Ow! Why! What?" I cried as he pulled me by my cheek.
We were finally in the house and jimin gave me a cold pack from the kitchen so I could put on my face. "Wow." I sighed as I walked up to my room "If I had one more glass of wine, I'd need a whole fire truck to put me out." I chuckled and sat at the end of the bed.
Jimin following behind me with a cold glass of water and a bowl filled with ice. "Are you still hot?" He asked worried standing next to me.
"No, I'm fine now." I said, continuing to cooling my face with the cool pack.
"Okay" he reached for the cold pack "then give me that, you'll catch a cold. You can use it later if you feel hot again. Okay?"
I looked up at him, brining a hand to my face. Feeling the coolness on my face then nodded "okay."
"Get some rest" he said then he placed the glass down and put the cold pack in the bowl of ice he was carrying and turned around to leave but he stopped as I called out to him. "Wait, are you leaving?"
"Yeah, I'm going to watch tv for a bit." He said turning towards me. "I'll let you get some sleep."
As he said those words, I don't know why but I felt disappointed "ahh okay." I looked away from him and sighed.
Jimin was about to leave again but stopped as I called out again voicing my thoughts about earlier when we were having fun at the beach "Today was fun. Thank you." I sent him a big smile.
Jimin smiled at me then walked towards the door ready to close it. "Ahh.." he said suddenly remembering something, he stuck his hand in his shorts pocket then walked towards me and handed me something "Here."
Confused, I looked at him for a second then looked at his hand and saw my phone. "You left it outside earlier."
"If you can't sleep, if you need anything or want to talk, just text me okay."
I looked up at him and smiled "okay." Then I grabbed my phone.
"Good night then." He said walking up to me and ruffled my hair.
"Good night." I smile at him then took my slippers off and got under the covers then watched Jimin close the door behind himself.
After five minutes of trying to sleep I couldn't sleep. Eyeing my phone, I bit my lip "should I?" I mumbled to myself.
"Ahhh screw it" I sat up and grabbed my phone
I felt my cheeks then unlocked my phone and searched for Jimin's contact name then started a text.
To: Jiminie 파보
The fire on my cheeks are now extinguished.

I sat there staring at my phone wondering if he went to bed already. I looked at the time, it was 11:43 pm.
I sighed "hmm... he probably did." Sadly, I locked my phone and was about to set it down when I suddenly felt it vibrate in my hand and my eyes lit up.

That's great. I was worried I'd have to go find a fire extinguisher to put you out.
-Jimin
I grinned at the screen like an idiot.
To: Jiminie 파보
What are you doing?

A couple seconds later there was a reply
From: Jiminie 파보
Walking around for a bit.
-Jimin
I quickly sent out a reply and we kept texting back and forth.
It was now 12:15am
To: Jiminie 파보
Where are you now?
-Jaehee ♥
I wonder if he's walking around
From: Jiminie 파보
In the livingroom sofa
-Jimin
An idea popped into my head and I sat up smiling, just then I received another text.
From: Jiminie 파보
Your not tired? Get some sleep.
Good night.
-Jimin
I stared at my phones screen wondering if I should go see him. But I was having an internal battle in my mind.
He doesn't want to see you
Maybe he's just tired
I sighed and replied to the text after a couple of minutes.
To: Jiminie 파보
Alright, goodnight.

I stared at my phone waiting to see if he would reply but I didn't receive a reply. I lied down on my side and put my phone on top of my pillow next to me.
I stared at my phone.
Jimin..... I think I love you.
Rolling over onto my back and let out a sigh then brought the covers over my head. Two minutes later I pulled the covers down and grabbed my phone unlocking it.
To: Jiminie 파보
Jimin. Are you sleeping?

I didn't get a reply and I lowered my head in defeat. Biting my lips I sat up slipping on some slippers. Then walked out the room and walked to the living room only to see Jimin fast asleep on the couch.
I smiled at the sight, then jogged back to my room and grabbed an extra blanket.
Why is he sleeping here of all places?
I covered him up with the blanket and kneeled down beside him and stared at his cute sleeping face.
I was going to touch his cheek when suddenly Jimin opened his eyes and I fell back startled.
Jimin sat up then helped me up to my feet.
"What are you doing here?" He asked
"I uhh.. I was going to.... to get a glass of water." I said pointing to the kitchen "then I saw you sleeping here, so I covered you up in case you got cold." I said looking away from him.
Jimin nodded his head "ahh okay..."
"I-I'll get back to my room then." I mumbled then slowly started walking backwards to see if he would call out to me or stop me, but he didn't.
"Sure, go on." Jimin nodded his head
"Okay" I sighed "I'll be going then."
"Okay. Good night." He said with a straight face
"Okay, Bye." I turned away. I didn't want to leave, I wanted to see him, be near him but he was acting weird all of a sudden.
"Bye." Jimin said and I gave him one last look before walking back upstairs to my room.
Once I got to my room, I closed the door and brought a hand to my chest and breathed out.
I can't believe I almost got caught
I paced back and forth thinking about Jimin and how cute he looked when he was asleep, how his lips were pressed together, how I just wanted to squeeze his cute chubby cheeks.
I smiled and sat at the end of my bed biting my thumb nail. I couldn't stop thinking about him, I had a big smile on my face.
I kicked my slippers off then got in bed before covering myself with my blanket and let out a squeal then sat back up and paced the room.
I walked up to the door and pressed an ear to the door to see if I could hear jimin, but I didn't hear anything.
I moved back and bit my lip staring at the door knob, I reached for it.
Little did I know that Jimin was doing the exact same thing on the other side of the door.
Sighing, I let go of the knob and decided to just go back to sleep. I sent one last glance at the door then suddenly thought of something

Yes?

I forgot to say sleep tight.

You're right. Goodnight, Sleep well.

I stared at my phone grinning and let out a soft chuckle. I brushed my teeth then crawled on my bed getting comfortable.
"Jimin.... Good night" I mumbled then tucked myself in bed, then drifted off to sleep with a big smile on my face.
