Chapter 52: Land Of Demons.
In a forest deep within the Land Of Rivers, a figure could be seen standing on the ground staring intently at with his black eyes moving from side to side frantically. Tendo had sensed some movement in the ground when he was traveling and he decided to pause his journey to check out the disturbance. He could see through the ground very clearly but it was like the presence of whatever it was kept disappearing and appearing at different locations.
Tendo kept looking at different locations while moving around to multiple spots for about five minutes before he caught a glimpse of what the thing was. It was white and had a humanoid shape but its head was covered by a jaw like formation.
Tendo: 'Zetsu.'
Tendo had finally found one of his intended targets. Now that he was sure that it was a White Zetsu, he waited patiently while hiding his presence and merging himself into the ground to wait for an opportunity to strike. It was certainly a game of patience as Tendo was waiting there for about an hour before he saw an opportunity. With one swift movement, Tendo moved through the ground and activated his Wraith Execution, absorbing the White Zetsu before it even knew what happened.
[Ding!]
[Hosts soul strengthened, Hosts body strengthened, Hosts regenerative ability strengthened. 100 SP gained.]

Tendo quickly jumped out of the ground and left the area as he had felt his body morphing itself into something else completely. All of his cells were being rearranged, destroyed, and healed at an astonishing rate. He stopped moving and landed down on the ground because he had lost control of his body. He was surprised to find out that he wasn't in pain but whatever was going on actually felt...good. His body looked like it was turning into liquid at some instances before it repaired itself once again, making Tendo think that if his healing factor wasn't so good his body might have broken down right there.
Another hour went by before Tendo gained full control over his body again. In that time, he managed to gain enough control to hide underground just in case some random Shinobi stumbled upon him as he couldn't confirm if he was in the bingo book yet or not. When he got out of the ground and put his hands on it to pull himself up, a small crack formed just from the force of his touch.
Tendo: 'If this is the kind of buff I can expect from one Zetsu, how strong will I get if I absorb more of them? Plus I even got that Spore Technique. This will be extremely useful in covert operations. To top it off, now that I absorbed one of them I can sense most of them around me clearly.'
Tendo could feel the direct locations of movements of the rest of the White Zetsu in a wide radius. Not wasting any more time, Tendo merged with the ground and rushed towards them with blinding speed. Since he had absorbed one of them, they didn't bother running from him as they recognized his chakra signature as one of their own. With quick, decisive movements, he caught and absorbed about 10 of them, each time boosting his abilities by a good margin.
Tendo: 'I feel..great. The discomfort in my body that was there before is now non-existent. I wonder what level of power I'm at now. I haven't fought a decent Kage Level opponent since I arrived in this world as only one of them could contend with my strength as of now. Well, in due time. Now, to the Land Of Demons, this White Zetsu absorbing session will be continued later.'
[At the same time, in a large cave somewhere in the Land Of Rivers]
???: 'Hm? Some of the White Zetsu that were planted not too far away from here just disappeared. It was like they were absorbed by something and whatever it was had an interesting Chakra signature. I'll have to look into this after I'm done here...'
[A few days later]
The Land Of Demons, also known as the Land Of Ogres was a highly forested country that always had this sense of..darkness to it. It always felt like a dark force was looming overhead when someone walked through the land. For most, if they weren't born there, it felt like an incredibly new experience being in such a bleak setting. As for Tendo, he felt right at home as his demonic blood felt almost empowered by the atmosphere.
Tendo: 'Over the past few days I've been practicing my wood release and I have to say, even though I'm an amateur at it, it's as powerful as I thought it would be. Capturing Moryo will be even easier now with my new body and my soul should be strong enough to hold his. They claim only one named 'Yomi' could access the seal and dimension that holds his soul, but it's time to prove them wrong.'
Tendo then expanded his senses to find the location of Shion and the shrine. In no time, he found the place and started moving over to it with incredible speed. In a few minutes, he got to the Shrine where everything was located. It was guarded by four soldiers that were well-armed and looked highly trained in combat.
The Shrine was a tall building that opened up to an extremely large cavern inside. Numerous ropes with what appeared to be paper seals were strung across inside. At it's center is a Shrine like structure that's surrounded by five pillars and a large emblem made of light illuminating it from above. The center was also surrounded by deep pits that had multiple statues inside of them. Standing by the seal was a younger version of Shion with a peculiar bell inside of her hands. She looked like she was doing a ritual at that moment.
Tendo: 'It's time to free what will be one of my long time allies. It's also the first step in becoming a Demon Sage. Now, it's time to start this operation.'
