"What? let go!"She started to struggle but no matter what she did even if he was drugged he was stronger."Go look for someone else!"She shouted. He didn't budge though."I can't."He whispered and started to kiss her neck. She pushed him away."I can't touch any of those women."He said. Ashlyn froze. For reasons she doesn't want to think about having him go to someone else isn't something she will prefer either. ----"Last night-"He was about to tell her that he didn't mind trying to get along with her but he was rudely interrupted. She looked up at him and said."Last night? Nothing happened last night.''She then nonchalantly placed a piece of sausage in her mouth. Every single action of hers was calm and yet careless. Like whatever the world was doing or saying was none of her business. He was utterly shocked.****Her family thinks she is mute, weak, and pathetic. Her mom died and her stepmother and step sister took over. She never bothered though and kept her facade. Then she finds herself married to the CEO of a top entertainment company. As the firstborn daughter of the Brown family, she has no choice to marry in order to keep up her facade. Her husband disappeared for two whole years what happens when one day he comes back drugged and ready to claim his wedding night?(Partly modern fantasy)

she'll have the same problem know me up from the beginning and she is the one that is a little girl reaction from her husband and she doesn't know how
I'm in love with this story.. strong fl that we all needed.. and I also like the fact that ml respects her decision and is not dominating...
I like the characters specially ashlyn.I like how she is shown as a strong woman but a woman with vulnerable side as well.I really dont like the father,because no matter what a father is supposed to the hero of his daughter's life,someone who always supports her,goes through thick and thin with her but he turn out to be the opposite. I mean she was bullied,treated like **** and he just watched from a corner.Even if she wasnt his daughter,at least he could think the relationship between his wife and daughter,like how much his wife loved her and how much she cherished her. i would love read more about Conner and Ashlyn relationship.
I really like this story with strong female lead character.. I'm so fed up of those female leads that are weak and stupid and rely on male lead to clear up the mess for them.. Also the point that even though she loves male lead she kept her strong self in front of him os really inspiring.. I also liked the realistic progress in their romance that doesn't feel like something only happens in stories.. I have a lot more to say on this story as this is the second story that hooked me up so much.. I hope author keeps up her good work and continue to provide us strong female characters that we all want to become in real life..
