Chapter 193: Town Hall Library (8)

Now that I was recalling my little conversation with Popsy about gargoyles from back when I was twelve, I couldn't help but think over the old lady's words. If what Popsy told me back then was indeed true, then there was a possibility that every word which left the lady's mouth was also nothing but true. 

Gargoyles were guardians of treasure according to what Popsy had shared with me. What if the treasure in this case were the secrets which were hidden deep inside the closed wing of the town hall library? 

I wouldn't really be shocked if that was to come true. But then again, how did the lady know I was a demon? And how was she related to this whole mess which was my life?

There were so many questions with each of them having a number of possible answers. All I could do was to dig them up one by one, all on my own. Though there was one person who could help me in my search, I didn't want to bring him into my personal mess.
