Chapter 32: All Might's Call
"Where does she live, I am coming over!" Katsuro asked.
"Matsuyama 43," Izuku replied.
"Good. I am on my way. Don't you dare to leave before I arrive!" Katsuro shouted.
Izuku sighed and replied, "Sure... I will wait...Bye."
"Dumbass!" Katsuro replied and ended the call.
Izuku was troubled, he didn't feel like meeting Kacchan today. He still had to meet with All Might. Izuku put his phone away into his pocket and turned to face Itsuka.
"Kacchan is coming over, at least you won't have to be alone here. I am sure her behavior will improve the moment she figures out what happened." Izuku said.
"I know, but you won't be waiting for her, right?" Itsuka asked.
Izuku widened his eyes and replied, "Yes, that's right. If I told her that I wouldn't wait for her, she wouldn't come. You two are close, even with your constant fights, I've seen you enjoying each other's company multiple times and besides, I wouldn't want you to be holed up in this room for the next 10 months. You still plan on attending the U.A, right?"
Itsuka seriously nodded and said, "Of course, that was my dream all along."
"Then that's good. Put good work in training your quirk, especially your new one. I will be training my ass off as well. I talk like Kacchan now... We can also train together if you want to." Izuku said.
"Sure. But I feel like I should train alone. If I were to train with someone I would just get distracted, besides... Now that I have this second quirk... I am serious about trying to perfect it... For my dad's sake." Itsuka resolutely clenched her fists.
*Brrr*
Izuku's phone rang once again.
'Why Am I getting so many calls... Oh. This number... It's All Might.'
"I am sorry Itsuka, I need to pick this up, I will be back in a minute," Izuku said as he left the room.
He picked up the call and answered, "Hello, All Might! What can I do for you?"
"Ah, young Midoriya, you picked up... That's good. Look. I need to talk to you about something." All Might said.
"Sure! Is it about the body? Or do you need something else?" Izuku asked.
"Yes. His body is one of the things I will need. The second thing is you. I need you, young Midoriya." All Might replied.
Izuku, completely contaminated with Midnight's dirty jokes blushed.
'There is no way he meant it that way. I am just being delusional. It's all Nemuri's fault. Calm down Izuku!'
"I-I see... F-For what purpose do you need me if I may ask?" Izuku asked in embarrassment.
"Ah, I need you to come with me to an abandoned beach nearby." All Might replied.
'Okay... Calm down Izuku... It's an abandoned place and almost no one visits the place. It can't be that bad... Stop it, imagination! Damn you Nemuri!'
"A-Ah I see... S-So... Who else comes with us?" Izuku asked now, with slight fear in his voice.
"What's with that weird question young Midoriya? No one will be there other than us. We wouldn't want anyone to see what we will be doing. It would be a disaster if someone saw us doing something like that." All Might cluelessly replied.
"A-Ah... I-I." Izuku couldn't formulate a normal sentence.
Sadly, all he could think of were dirty thoughts. Nemuri has completely influenced the young Izuku and now, he couldn't take anything seriously.
'There is no way he would do something like that, right? He is the top hero...'
"Are you alright young Midoriya? Your breathing is a bit ragged, are you feeling unwell?" the still oblivious All Might asked.
'I-I am sorry... I-I see you as a respectable hero... B-But... I AM NOT GAY!" Izuku shouted at the top of his lungs.
The entire building shook scaring both Lilian and Nemuri who were munching on some snacks.
Hearing him, Nemuri quickly stood up and ran after Izuku demanding what happened.
"What was that Izuku-kun?! Is some pervert bothering you over the phone?! Here give it to me, I will handle him!"
Nemuri grabbed the phone from Izuku's hands and started shouting as well.
"Who the hell do you think you are, calling this child you pervert! People like you should be ashamed of themselves! Disgusting pervert!"
Izuku looked at her from the side and couldn't help but think, 'Aren't you a pervert as well?'
"No, No! This is a misunderstanding! Is this his mother? I am sorry for calling your son but I need to do something with him." All Might apologized while creating even bigger misunderstanding.
"What do you plan on doing with him you pervert, heck did you just fucking call me his mother?! I am only 28 years old this year! You bastard, you are going down!" Midnight angrily replied.
"I believe she should be more angry about him acting like a pervert rather than him failing in guessing her age.." Izuku silently murmured.
"What was that?!" Midnight turned her head and stared at Izuku with deadly eyes.
Izuku went on his knees and apologized "I am sorry!"
Meanwhile, All Might was apologizing as well. He didn't know what happened, but his instincts told him he should apologize.
"Please, young Midoriya, get us out of this situation. I don't want to be branded a pervert!" All Might pleaded.
Midnight widened her eyes in realization and asked, "Toshinori, is that you?"
"Yes, Yes...Wait, is that you Midnight?." All Might asked.
"Wow... I didn't think you were bi... Boys love... Hehehe.." Midnight laughed madly.
"No! It's not like that... Please... Young Midoriya... Tell her something or else every teacher at the U.A. will make fun of me!" All Might pleaded once again.
He knew that Midnight was infamous for spreading some nasty rumors if someone pissed her off. He didn't feel like becoming her victim.
Izuku walked up to Midnight and said, "Now now, even though I wasn't sure in the beginning, now I know that All Might is not that kind of a person. So please, let it be Nemuri."
"If Izuku says so... But, you need to cook something for me in the future!"
"Sure." Izuku nodded.
All Might was patiently listening in on their conversation and couldn't help but wonder. 'When did these two get so close? It's been only a few hours since Midnight was sent into the house and he is calling her Nemuri already.
What a ladies man. Meanwhile, she turned down every man in U.A... But anyway, it's safe to say that the boy managed to clear my name and I am truly grateful for it.'
"Young Midoriya, I have chosen you as my protégé! Come to the nearest beach for more details. You have 30 minutes boy! I will be waiting for you! GOODBYE!"
The call has ended and Izuku thought about All Might's words seriously.
'Protégé, I've heard that from Midnight before. What is it all about?'
He faced Nemuri and asked
"Nemuri, what does Protégé mean?"
"Hell if I know."
