"Ssshh .. not only that. Student council members are responsible for becoming the voice of the other students in their class. They would talk on our behalf about any issues and concerns. For example, we can demand better dorm rooms, free hours all day on weekends, not just half a day, and so much more," Ulla explained.

She then added, "Student council members also have access that ordinary students don't have. For example, they can use the library longer. They can also access locations that are closed to the public, and so on."

Ulla's last sentences intrigued Emma. She liked spending a lot of time in the library. Unfortunately, there was a curfew for that facility here. If she was allowed to stay in the library longer, she would be very happy.

"All right, then I also want to apply as a member of the student council," said Emma suddenly.
