We sang a symphony
a cadence of our connection
It took you 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9, 10 seconds to forget me
But it took forever just to stop thinking about you
The thought broke me in seconds
Seconds to minutes to hours to days to weeks to a month to NOW
We shared a bond that I thought no one could break but
You snapped it in half while watching my sea of tears start to flood.
You promised me forever while you stomped on the trail of our broken promises.
You whispered always while speaking to other girls hearts
I always asked my self if I did something wrong
Turns out it was just you
One day you'll come back
