Chapter 11: Hospital Breakdown
I was knocked out cold and I had a really bad black eye, but it was purple. I had a few cuts and one deep cut. Maya carried me to the ambulance Malani had called to the department. Malani and Maya went with me but in a different car. I was put in a bed in the back of the vehicle. They put medical fluids in my body by putting needles in my hands. We arrived at the hospital and they pushed the bed to the emergency room. Mayo explained, "We were practicing and when she went to jump in the foam pit her face hit a giant pole with some nails on it!" Malani whispered to Maya, "We really need to get that removed..." They stitched up the deep cut and cleaned up the blood. Then they gave me an ice pac after I woke up.
Right as I was about to leave, the lights went out. Then the intercom came on. It was a man, laughing. He then said, "Hello patients, doctors, and nurses. Hello Malani, Maya, and Xiao. Your beloved Xavier is here! Oh... but Xiao isnt in any condition to fight! And shes the professional... looks like I'll have to fight Malani and Maya instead." He laughed, and the intercom hung up. Maya said to Malani, "I'm not ready yet!" "Yes your are, you one of the top students." , said Malani. They went to the bathroom and changed into warrior outfits. It had a short cape, armored top and bottom, a dagger, a sea pistol, and one hand grenade. They walked out of the room and ran towards the intercom room. I was left behind and guard by nurses, doctors, and two guards.
