In the north, Odin sits upon a high throne within his halls of silver, the heavenly spear Gungnir in his grasp. Looking down, boundless winds and snow crosses his view. Down south, Amon steers his sun boat along the River Nile. Before his eyes lays the Aegean Sea and himself upon a mountain of bones. And in Mesopotamia Marduk, King of Kings, gazes upon the Western Lands. Gilgamesh, his hero king, brings to Greece his oracle. As far as the eye can see, warships dot the waters. Finally, at Plato Academy, a youngster named Suye walks up a mountain to seek its summit.
This is one of the most well written books on the site, at least as far as the first 60 chapters go. I would say the quality of writing and translation are comparable to Lord of the Mysteries. The world, characters, magic, and development are truly excellent. I really hope this book gets picked up. I strongly recommend this one to folks, and dou lynch so if one has interest in ancient Greece or philosophy.
Sadly this book wasn't picked. :( It was really promising and I would have loved to read more. :( Now we will never know how this awesome story would have progressed.
Where are new chapters? Did they drop it agane? Time sure flies, I remember when it appeared in trial reads.. trial reads back then had 60 chapters, younglings don't know about this. The author wrote quite smart and unique characters. Shame he makes them waste time like this instead of going for deeper, more complicated plot without all these stupid nobles and their mental issues. But even after 118 chapters it does have a potential and room for growth. Characters are lifelike but quite petty Pelos a good waifu
First time I actually feel angry about a novel not being picked. This has everything that I want from a good novel. It has a good concept and great execution. However some dumbf*cks decided to chose the generic cultivation trash that we have 1 million copies of!!!!
A great and well written book, without a doubt one of the books with most potential, of the books I’ve seen the last year. The translation is great, the characters are well written and the world of the novel has a lot of potential. Another reviewer mentioned that the book reminded him of lord of the mysteries, which is kinda true, in that deities exist and that there are several paths to greatness, but at the same time there are also a lot of differences. LOTM has a very dark ambience, while this is one the lighter side. The main character has friends, and meets a lot of people whom he likes. Whether the author is able to bring out as many feelings from the reader as in LOTM is yet to be seen, I’ve shed a couple of tears while reading LOTM, but haven’t had any strong attachment in the same way to this story yet.

It’s a bit bittersweet for me that this finally being updated on webnovel, considering i just finished reading the mtl that was completed. Still an amazing novel and ill definitely give it a re-read once more chapters are out.

Short: A world where All of the European myths exist on the same era. There are Gods in the world. MC is transmigrated with a cheat into a 16 year old. He is the intellectual type. MC cheats is quite mysterious right now, But looks like it related to Godhood. 2 cultivation system right now, Fighter and Mage, MC learning Magic at a school. Extremely good Arc regarding the School. I really like it because unlike most of the novels this guy doesn’t have a plot armour, He has to do sh.it to get out of trouble. And not divine intervention, And this is a novel with Living GODS so that says a lot. You will love it More if you’re particularly interested in Myths. Long: World: There are tons of Gods/Demigods from Myths from the European And African continent currently in the world all at the same time. Because of it the all of the cultures are uniquely influenced and mixed. The current story revolves around the Ancient Greece. The MC is in Magic school. And it actually feels like a school rather than those usual school arc that are there just to power up MC’s basic. Cultivation: There are two types mentioned Fighters and mages, Mages are relatively new, So it hasn’t developed that much. The goal of it is to become Demigods as Mention of becoming a deity seems to be blasphemy. MC: MC is the intellectual type, He prefers to solve his problems using his head, And in quite unique ways. He doesn’t seem to have a great plot armour, No bs luck that will suddenly get him out of trouble. He uses his brain but doesn’t feel like an inhuman person. There quite few side characters that are really good, And the Author seems to focus equally on both sides, Hope he doesn’t throw them away after MC powers up. Overall surprisingly it feels like nothing happened and so much happened at the same in this 40 chapters. The Concept with The MC and cheat might do wonders. The author seems to have researched a lot about thinking and self reflection. A lot of things you can reflect About. Anyway its a great read. 👍
