Chapter 20: Asking the the hard question.

Monaco turned out to be an amazing place Rosa was fascinated by its beauty and it turned out that the Leo can speak french fluently which attracted the female's attention around but he acted like he doesn't see them which made them feel embarrassed. every morning Rosa wake up and find that Leo had ordered the breakfast for them. after eating the food Leo takes to a new place. it's been four days since they arrived here and Rosa felt like she was the happiest person in the whole world.

One day they were taking a walk by a fashion clothing stores Rosa saw a dress was displayed on the shop window he asked her if she likes it and when she answered he end up buying almost the whole store from dress to shoes he bought many things and whenever she tries to stop him he would say that doesn't have to worry about anything.

Rosa noticed that Leo was looking at her with sadness in his eyes since they arrived here she felt like he was suffering from the inside she wondered if it's related to what he had told that day that he likes some other girl. Rosa noticed that Leo didn't want to marry Eva how did she know that because whenever his mother visite the only thing that she speaks about is when is he going to marry Eva and they would end up fighting and Leo would leave the house for days. Rosa wanted to know the reason why that Leo suddenly started to hate Eva but she felt that it's not her place to ask him.

In the first year that she was adopted, she saw how Leo was in love with Eva and how he dotted her she was everything to him but suddenly everything changed overnight. Rosa still remembers the first time she heard Leo raise his voice on Eva she didn't understand what happened all that she heard was repeating the same words " why. why did you do this to me " he kept on repeating these words.

" Yes. I will come back next weak. alright, I will see you then. " Leo hang up the phone

He went to check on Rosa who was sleeping like a baby she was sleeping on the edge of the bed as always he adjusted her sleeping position and sat on the edge of the bed next to her. Leo gazed at the young girl who was sleeping soundly kissing her forehead he lay down beside her on the bed. sensing that someone was beside her Rosa opened her eyes and found Leo starting at her.

" Did I woke you? " he asked running his fingers through her black hair. she shook her head no " Go back to sleep. "

Rosa closed her eyes to sleep but she opened them again when she remembered something " Leo. " she called him.

" Hmm. " Leo was about to close his eyes too when Rosa called him.

" I want to tell you something," she said and he pulled her close to him

" Go ahead. " Leo would always listen to anything that Rosa says he would patiently hear her and discuss whatever subject she is speaking about.

" Anna called me today. she was crying because she found out that her boyfriend was cheating on her," she said and heard Leo ask.

" Did she know why he did that? "

" It's because he was asking her something's that she refused. what do you think? " Rosa didn't want to see that Anna refused to sleep with her boyfriend because she was still underage she may have a strong relationship with Leo but he still older than him and she respects him.

" You mean he wanted to have his way with her. silly girl, you can speak freely with me. " Leo pinched her nose " firstly Anna did a great job on refusing him she is still young and secondly his only a jerk would do that she is lucky that she discovered him early. no one deserves to be forgiven for cheating or letting someone down always remember that Rosa. "

" Did you went through that. I mean did Eva cheated on you? " Rosa asked.
