Chapter 6: Chapter-6 : Diagon alley and Gringotts
** Next day **
It was early in the morning, about 07:30 and after completing his daily morning routine, Michael was in the shower.
Today was going to be one of the rare days that he'll get to go outside the manor because of his overprotective mother. She never allowed him to go outside, in her eyes even though he was cured, he was still weak and fragile.
Another reason being that his manor was directly placed above a natural Ley line, the surrounding radius of 3 miles was always protected and was always under monitoring of wards.
Each and every brick of the manor was reinforced by increased defense and sturdiness inscriptions, the manor was always under protection of protective wards, another half of the security was due to Ancient inscriptions and runes and magical contract with different magical creature communities that lived in the surrounding of the manor in the forest.
All magical species like centaur, hippogriff, sabertooth tigers, magical serpents, magical lions and Panthers and all kinds of magical creatures.
Strongest and oldest being the White tiger community, which was contracted by Anthony Blest a millennium ago to protect his property. An adult white tiger in his prime can easily rip apart dragons like Hungarian horntail. But their numbers were only a couple of dozen and just like Phoenix they were also intelligent creatures that belonged to side of light.
All magical creatures were under a contract in which they have to provide assistance in times of need and they'll get to live in the mana ambient property of Blest family.
Actually, the area under the radius of 15 miles surrounding the manor was all property of Blest family. His family manor was a building as old as and safer than the castle of Hogwarts. To say it was one of the most safest place in the world was not an exaggeration.
Making his plans for today, he came out of the shower, stood in front of the mirror, admiring his body, though he was 11 years old he looked like a normal 13 year old kid. Traces of muscle building up were there under his skin.
"Damn, I'll look hot in future, watch up ladies." he thought. (narcissist much ??).
After dressing up properly, he went towards the drawing room where his mom was waiting for him. They were going to diagon alley through apparition. His mom still didn't know about Sid being a Phoenix, he always morphed his body to appear like a normal red falcon.
Michael thought it was time he disclosed some of his secrets.
"Momm"
"yes Mike, what happened"
"I thought it was about time I told you that Sidisaphoenix hecanjustflameustodiagonalley" He said faster than what could be understood
It took a few moments for her to register this, though she was shocked, she covered it up fast and asked " how?? "
Michael stood there and reached out his hands toward empty air and called "Sid"
suddenly through a burst of flames Sid appeared on his hands in his Phoenix form, his feathers were burning but were emitting a warmth, he was only 2 feet long, having majestic wings, sharp talons and captivating red eyes.
She was stunned, she had never seen a creature this beautiful, she couldn't help but reach out her hands to rub Sid's head.
"so, little fella, you were keeping a secret huh??? "
"Sorry mum, I thought you would take him away, he was just a little egg when I found him in the forest"
"it's ok but don't keep secrets from now on, kay?"
"yes mom!"
"So let's go, it's getting late"
he held his mom's hands and signalled Sid, and through, a burst of flames, thay appeared in the diagon alley
It was his first time here
Though it was just 8 o'clock in the morning, the streets were bustling and were packed full, people getting in and out of shops, vendors trying to sell their goods, sounds of musics coming from pubs and bars, it was perfect example of how much crowded a place can get.
"Let's go to Gringotts first" his mom said to him
There he saw the biggest building along the road and he knew that it was the Gringotts wizarding bank.
He was at Gringotts, it was an imposing multi-storied marble building, Michael and his mom went along the stairs and arrived at the entrance.
There was a set of burnished bronze doors, flanked by goblins that were armed to teeth, compelling you to think about a hundred times before trying to steal anything.
It was his first time seeing a goblin, they didn't look grotesque but they did look horrifying due to their bulging muscles and sharp teeth and ears.
As me moved towards the teller, he read on the walls :
enter stranger, but take heed
of what awaits the sin of greed
for those who take, but do not earn,
must pay most dearly in their turn.
So if you seek beneath out floors
a treasure that was never yours
Thief you have been warned, beware
of finding more than treasure there.
They reached a teller named Gripclaw, who greeted mother before looking at Michael.
His eyes widened in surprise mostly likely due to his magical energy and it's nature, which goblins could sense due to them being intelligent magical creatures.
Michael gave him a bright smile and proceeded to offer his hands to him for handshake. Both of his actions surprised the goblin, most likely due to Michael not being afraid of him and being friendly as many people were scared to just look at them, let alone touch them.
After getting out of his stupor, the goblin gave Michael a nod and a handshake with a smile which was downright scary due to his sharp pointy teeth.
There they opened a trust vault in Michael's name. the teller took notice of his surname before contacting the director of Gringotts.
Michael and his mom were told to wait for some time.
After 15 minutes a goblin, in Royal dress, surrounded by a platoon of goblin warriors came to meet the both of them.
The goblin and his mother exchanged greetings before goblin turned his attention towards Michael and said
"Good morning Mr. Blest, My name is Ragnok, director of Gringotts, the teller goblin took notice of your surname, Blest. Sir Anthony Blest created the vault number 2, to leave his inheritance for his family, but only the eligible one can open the vault sir Anthony left. It is my duty as the current director of Gringotts to show you to the vault. only the one deemed eligible by the vault can enter it, not even us goblins can enter the vault.
Please , this way"
Ragnok showed them the way to vault number 2, after a disorientating cart ride, they reached the bottommost level of the bank, which only had 5 vaults, safeguarded by a huge ass dragon, there were two vaults that looked extraordinary, one had an insignia of a dragon, which Michael assumed must be of Merlin, the other had two creatures carved on its door, a Phoenix and a white tiger, he knew in which vault he was supposed to go to.
Moving to the door of the vault, as soon as he touched the door, he was suddenly sucked inside the vault
