Chapter 38: The Truth is Out (2)
"Don't go to dad Leo... not to him.''
"Why? Tell me why I should not go to my own father! You big idiot tell me or I swear that the second I get out of this room, I will go straight to him and ask him whether he knows about anything related to this...''
Leo threatened him.
"Why are you doing this Leo? Why are you forcing me to a corner?''
A helpless Damon asked.
''I am doing this because you won't tell me anything! I know that you are suffering, and you won't tell me... you won't let me enter. I saw you and saw how hurt and pained you looked upon seeing James.
I know that the love you had for him in your eyes was real... that you still yearn for your son... for your wife for your family, and I am trying to help you, but you won't let me, that is why I am forcing you into a corner.
Tell me, do you love James or not?''
An equally helpless Leo asked.
"Yes I love him! How can't I love him? He is my son, the son I coaxed into sleep when he was a newborn... the son I learned how to boil milk for... the son whom I taught how to walk... the son for whom I used to worry about when he would catch a fever or a cold.''
An emotional Damon told Leo, pouring his heart out to his brother.
"Then why did you let them go? Why did you, for even a single second think that Jamey was not your son? Why?''
Leo asked as he yelled at him.
''I didn't think that! I never did, and even if he was not my son, then that wouldn't have changed a damn thing because I was the only person my son thought of as his father, and that was all that mattered.''
"Then why did you leave them? Why did you let them leave?''
Leo asked in a somber tone.
"Because if I hadn't let them go then their lives would have been in danger.''
Damon finally said as he lost his patience by keeping this secret deep inside his heart for many years.
"If father knew how much I cared for James and Ivy, then he would have hurt them... he would have harmed them to make me listen.''
"What? What are you talking about Damon?"
A confused Leo asked,
"Are you kidding me? Don't...don't joke about matters like this alright, it's not fine.''
Looking at Leo as he tried to comfort himself, Damon showed him a feeble smile and told him.
''This is why I didn't want to tell you. I knew that you would have a hard time accepting it.''
"Then tell me everything! Make me accept it.''
Leo told him in a trembling voice.
Looking at his brother, Damon knew that he had no way out of this and so he began talking.

So right now regarding my future I made a list of all the jobs I can't do and surprisingly enough all the jobs in the service industry are on it.
So yeah I am still not anywhere near enough but I am still working in it.
PS: I forgot to mention in the last chapter what uke and seme meant

Also I have attained new heights for procastination, I have two chapters already written whom I just have to edit but am finding no will too.
