Chapter 7: Making A Deal With The President
After Kei left, Shinji decided he wanted some drink, so he went out of his room, and walked towards the elevator, and was surprised to meet Kiyotaka in the elevator when it arrived
"Great minds think alike, huh?" Shinji said with a smirk as he entered the elevator
"So, how's Horikita-San's study group?" Shinji asked his brother
"About that..."

As they made their way to the drinks vending machine, Kiyotaka explained to him just how they somehow managed to form a study group, which led to Shinji chuckle. When they arrived at the vending machine, just when Shinji was about to ask what Kiyotaka wanted, they heard someone speaks from a nearby alley.
"I didn't expect that you'll come here, Suzune" Shinji heard a familiar male voice from the alley. Shinji and Kiyotaka nodded at each other, and then looked at what was going on in the alley
"Nii-San, I came here to catch up to you" they heard their classmate's voice, as they looked at the alley. They recognized Suzune from her voice, despite only seeing her back, and they also saw a male with short black hair, with his back towards them.
'That looks interesting... why not film it if we're already eavesdropping...' thought Shinji as he took out his phone, and started filming
"Do you think you can catch up to me when you haven't even realized your own shortcomings?" the male said
"I'll reach class A! And when I do-" Suzune said in a desperate tone
"What a foolish sister you are..." said the male, as he turned around, revealing that he's the student council president, Manabu Horikita
'I knew they were siblings!' thought Shinji as he saw Manabu holding Suzune's hand over her head, and pinned it against the wall
"My little sister was assigned to class D. Do you know how shameful it is to me? Leave this school right now" said Manabu in a threatening tone
"Nii-San..."
"You're not allowed or talented enough to aim for something higher. It looks like you need to learn a lesson..." Manabu said and cocked his fist back, ready to hit her. Just when Suzune readied herself for impact, Kiyotaka, who approached them without they noticed, caught Manabu's hand, preventing him from hitting Suzune
"A-Ayanokoji-Kun!?" said Suzune in surprise
"You really were going to do it, weren't you? Let her go" said Kiyotaka
"Please stop, Ayanokoji-Kun..." said Suzune in a hopeless tone
Hearing her tone, Kiyotaka let go of Manabu's hand, only for Manabu to immediately attempted to backhand him, but Kiyotaka managed to dodge by flexing his back, but Manabu continued his assault, by trying to kick him, but Kiyotaka dodged again, by sidestepping. Surprise was visible on Manabu's face before he attempted to grab Kiyotaka by the shoulder, but Kiyotaka blocked it with his hand, and finally managed to get some space between them
"You're not bad. Are you training in some type of martial art?" asked Manabu
"No. Only piano and calligraphy" answered Kiyotaka
"I see. You are the other Ayanokoji. The one that scored 50 in all of the entrance exams. Was it intentional?"
"Coincidences can be amazing"
"Just like your brother, you're unique in your own way. Suzune, I'm surprised that you managed to befriend with someone"
"He's not my friend. He's just a classmate"
"As always, you're confusing between isolation and independence" Manabu said and started to walk away
"I'm afraid you can't leave just yet, President" said Shinji, after he stopped filming, and revealed himself
"Ayanokoji-Kun?" said Suzune, surprised once again
"I told everyone to call me by my first name. You're calling both of us in the same manner, and it's quite confusing if you ask me"
"What are you doing here?" asked Manabu with suspicion in his voice
"Me and Kiyotaka went to get something to drink from the vending machine nearby, and just happened to witness your conversation. I didn't want to interfere in a talk between siblings, but Kiyotaka was more kind than me and decided to intervene. Honestly, I couldn't care less if you hit Horikita-San, as I believe that what happens in the family, stays in the family, but the moment you attempted to attack Kiyotaka, that's where I come in" Shinji said, showed him his phone, and started to play the video, at the part where Manabu attacked Kiyotaka. Seeing the video, Manabu frowned deeply, while Suzune looked shocked
"What are you aiming by showing me this?" asked Manabu
"Nothing at all. I just want your opinion. What do you think will happen to you, when I'll post this video on the school's forum? The student council president who attempted to attack his underclassmen! The President's sister is in class 1-D! This what the whole school will think of you, and the reputation you worked so hard to build, will fall apart before you'll notice" Shinji said with a devilish smirk
"Are you trying to blackmail me?"
"Nothing of the sort. Just saying that the first thing you'll see this morning, is the numerous messages you're class will send you about a certain video"
"How dare you-" Suzune started to say in anger, only for Manabu to stop her and say:
"Suzune, stay out of it. What will it takes, so you won't post this video?"
"Nii-san!?" Suzune exclaimed with absolute shock
"Well, since you built this reputation since the day you arrived at the school, it's price is quite high. Let's say... 3,000,000pp"
"3,000,000 points!? Have you gone crazy?" shouted Suzune
"Very well. I'll give you the amount you ask for. In return, I want to see you deleting this video right now"
"Nii-San!?" once again, Suzune exclaimed in shock
"Are you taking me for a fool? You'll deliver the points first"
"And how can I know that you'll delete it?"
"Then... we'll transfer our phones momentarily. Then, I'll transfer the points from your phone to mine, and you'll delete the video. Once you see that I transferred the exact amount, and I see that you're not transferring the points back, we'll transfer our phones back"
"That is an acceptable method" Manabu said, and started to move closer to Shinji, until he stood one meter away from Shinji. Then, both reached for each other's phone at the same time and took it from each other's hands. Shinji transferred 3,000,000 points to himself and confirmed that Manabu hasn't sent them back, and Manabu deleted the video and made sure Shinji sent the exact amount. Once the deal was completed, they exchanged phones again, and Manabu walked away
"Looks like you can act like a normal girl as well, Horikita-San" Shinji said, ignoring the glare Suzune sent him
"You should act like this more often. It makes you look cute, and you already have the appearance to back you up. The only thing you need to do is to act as you acted with your brother, and you'll be a hell of a cutie"
"C-Cutie!? I certainly don't need to be a cutie. All I need is to reach class A" Suzune grumbled, but a faint blush was visible on her face
"Well, I'll take my leave now. Kiyotaka, make sure to treat her to a drink~" Shinji said in a playful tone and walked back to his room
'Well, there is no need to humiliate my upperclassmen for points anymore...' Shinji thought, as he looked at his point balance:
