Chapter 2: Somewhere
"Sis, h-h-he's just a kid.. " James said, eyes still lock on the screen waiting if the kid will do something stupid.
"Good for him.. " Angelita replied. ' I'm giving a hand to his guardian for teaching him some manners', she thought. Still focus on her game while shaking her head 'Why is it youngster nowadays are really lacking manners..?' she thought again then giving a sigh afterwards.
"Sis, you're r-r-really this bored? Andrew can easily do the clean up." Referring to their A.I. assistant.
Their secured working space are three storey below the ground. It is so secured that after entering a pass code, you will still need the eye, hand and DNA of the siblings before entering the facility. Only three people know this place exists, she, James and their father. Actually this is their father trump card, one of the reason why he is so powerful in Underworld.
Above ground is a decoy working office, housing a few web app developers. James manage this office while Angelita spends most of her time underground. Although James has mild autism, his dedication to this office can't compare to any one. When it comes to his work, his focus and serious as hell.
"Andrew, carry on." Giving orders to their AI after finishing the game. Andrew will erase all her tracks that the server been visited by her.
Turning to her brother who's so focus now on assembling his limited edition G-robot, "James, we need to polish our 3D hologram communication, fix some bugs, let's make it 100% perfect if possible. And I need it to be working as soon as possible. ", staring at James.
James still focus on his robot, he looks like he's not listening at all, but his calculating. Suddenly, "Andrew, ETC?".
"Young Master, it will be completed by the end of this month.", Andrew replied.
"Hmmm.. That's enough time.." Angelita talking to herself. And then turning her gaze to the ceiling, calculating and making a plan.
"E-e-e-nough time for what, sis?" James asked, his attention still on the robot.
By that, she turn her gaze to James face. Angelita's gaze are sad but determined. James can feel the sad atmosphere between them, but his still waiting for her sister reply.
Angelita sigh, this is really hard for her. "James, look at me.." She's trying to get the attention of her brother. She knows that James feels the sad atmosphere between them, the feeling of someone moving away.
James look at her with a teary eyes, "Sis, are you tired o-o-of taking care of me? I'll promise, I-i-I'll behave, I-i-I'll be a good boy, and I will listen to you a-a-and I will not throw tra-tantrums anymore. Just don't leave me alone here.." He's holding on his tears, he knows his sister doesn't like to see him cry. She always tells him crying is useless, it can't help you. She always said instead of crying, keep focus, think what your next step will be.
"No!", she quickly said. "Don't you ever dare think about it again. I'll never get tired taking care of you. Keep that in mind, this is my oath that I will take on my grave.. ", she continue with a serious face and a little bit hurt because of what James thinking.
Because of their strong bond, James can always tell if there's something wrong. This time he can really feel that his sister has plans to go somewhere.
Angelita sigh again. She knows that James already have an idea that she's planning to go somewhere. She must spill some beans to make her plan works.
