A cold air seemed to have passed by, making her thighs tingle by their bareness. 

The stillness in the room made her feel conscious all of a sudden, even hesitant. But just as she tried to shift, a palm landed on the curve of her ass.

Diana could hear the strangled note in Maxim's voice and it was as if suddenly all the warmth was back shot straight back inside her body.
