Chapter 3: “The two w’s. What and why,”
"OMG, it's him! What do I say, what do I do," I thought. "Hey, Eric! Sounds great!" I text. "Really, that is all I got?" I ask myself.
After that, I go to meet up with Vicky. Vicky was their talking to a boy. He seemed as if he was really into Vicky. They were very close to each other. When I walk closer to them,he leaves. I never got to see his face. He looked like Eric, my Eric. I thought I was just seeing things, since I really like him.
"Hey Veronica! You made it!" Vicky says with excitement.
"I sure did! Wouldn't miss it for the world! Thanks for helping me out anyway!" I reply.
"Of course, I mean it is the least I could do! Why are you dressed up so fancy, and trendy anyway?"
"Cause I wanna look like you, so pretty and stuff. I don't wanna be left out or look like I don't fit in. Standing next to you, makes me look ugly cause you are so pretty, I'm ugly either way, but the dressing up, makes me less ugly."
"Awwww, don't say that. I am not that pretty, I'm the ugly one. I should be the one dressing up to fit in,not you. You don't have to worry about that anyway, people here don't care. Their chill,"
"Thanks, but I would wanna dress up. I bumped into this boy earlier, and if he seen me in what I was wearing before, he would probably wanna cancel the date he asked me out to for tomorrow,"
"Ooo, a date already, your good! Is he cute?!"
"Of course! Why would I go out with a boy, that wasn't cute? Girl, do you know me?!"
"I'm guessing not,". We both laugh
An hour later, we finished the tour and it was so helpful! We go back to the dorm, and without even changing, I go right back to bed. I was so tired after that tour, I didn't even wipe my makeup off. I just took off my shoes and fell right to sleep.
"BEEP, BEEP, BEEP!!"My poor alarm clock screamed.
"UHHHHHHHHH!!!! JUST A LITTLE LONGER, PLEASE! IT'S SATURADAY! WE DON'T HAVE SCHOOL!" I turned off my alarm clock.
"BEEP, BEEP, BEEP Beep...!" The alarmed really annoyed me now.
"I guess I'm getting up now, ugh you stupid alarm clock,"
"I heard that,"
"How,"
"That is how I am built,"
"Whatever, it is true, and I will say it to your digits,"
"Goodbye you idiot!" I never heard of a listening and talking alarm.
I get up seeing Vicky wasn't there. I see if she is in the bathroom, no one there. She wasn't to be found. My phone starts to ring. It was from a different unknown number.
"Hello? Who the freak is this?!" I say pretty intense.
"Hey this is Vicky,". The other end of the line says.
"Hey, where are you?"
"Oh, my ex and I got back together and he invited me to stay the night,"
"Nice! Wait is it that boy, that you were talking to yesterday, before I came?"
"Yeah... how did you know?"
"I was walking down, and I saw you with a boy,"
"Oh, well yeah, be at the dorm soon!"
"No prob, have fun! Not too much!"
"Hahaha, ok,"
I got nervous after that, what if it was Eric? "Wait, we do have school today! Ugh," I say. I got dressed and went to my first class. We usually don't have school, but since it is the first time here, and first day for freshman, we have to go to school today.
As I get dressed, my phone starts to ring. It's Eric! My heart starts to beat really fast. I pick it up.
"Hello?" I say.
"Hey I am so sorry, but I have to cancel our date!"
