Chapter 93: Chapter 90: You're mine from now on Part 2

When I came back, I saw Jasmine still looking dazedly into the distance. It seemed that what I've said didn't do anything, no she was still blaming herself albeit not totally, something had changed and I knew I was the root. However, this will not be enough to leave this world, I can forcedly bring her back, however it wouldn't do her any good, this problem must be solved by Jasmine herself. She just needs to forgive herself, it was easy said than done.
Suddenly, I had an idea. I started walking toward Jasmine, she wasn't aware that I was here for a while, she only took notice of me when I was in front of her.
We looked at each other in the eyes, I smirked before proclaiming shamelessly,
''Jasmine, You're mine from now on.''
Jasmine opened wide, she was truly surprised by what I just said, for an instant, she forgot feeling guilty, then her ears reddened before she glared at me, eyes burning with anger.
''You bastard.''
Jasmine never dated someone since the one she loves died protecting her, she just felt like if she did it, it would be like she betrayed him.
Without being bothered by Jasmine who was glaring at me as if I had killed someone dear to him, I continued and says,
''Fret not, I'll promise to take care of you. He must be happy where he is. You have the right to be happy too. You've already suffered enough, it's time to think about yourself, I bet your Big sister would be happy to. Just let it go, nobody gonna blame you.''
Jasmine who was fuming calmed down, she looks a little lost, she was struggling internally.
''You know, One day, Nui had told me something. She said that you were punishing yourself for something nobody is blaming you for. You even decided to forego your own happiness. She felt you're pitiful. She wishes that you can forgive yourself and find your happiness. She truly wishes it.''
I lied through my teeth without blinking, Jasmine was skeptical about my history, still, she couldn't help but feel secretly happy. Her guilt lessened a bit.
Looking at Jasmine who did not totally let go of her guilt, I added shamelessly.
''Don't I'll sacrifice myself for the greater. This is my destiny, I'll make you happy, you won't lose anything. It's me who is at the losing end.''
Jasmine's eyes became wide open, she was asking herself how can someone be this shameless.
''You shameless rog-"
I cut her by sealing her lips. Enough with that nickname. Jasmine was so surprised that she became frozen. The kiss was quick, approaching her left ear, I murmured.
''Remember, you're mine from now on, do not think about any other man besides me. Also, let it go. You just need to forgive yourself, nobody blamed you.''
I swiftly retreated from this world before getting punched by Jasmine. Her eyes were about to literally spew fire. I hope with this she can free herself from her own heart demon.

After Kyle left, Jasmine was staring into the distance with unfocused eyes. She was in a turmoil, Jasmine didn't know what to think anymore. She knew that what Kyle said was the solution, however, she couldn't let it go so easily.
The truth is that she was afraid to fall in love with someone else and this person will suffer the same fate as Mikaal. Jasmine was afraid of causing the one she comes to love to die because of her fault.
Back then when Mikaal died and the other in the empire learned that it was because he was protecting her. A lot of people change the way they interacted with her, a lot of them gave her the cold shoulder. Her the genius adored by all fell from grace because of that incident. She became isolated, only her Big sister stayed by her side even though she had lost his fiance (they became fiance recently before the incident).
Jasmine felt that not everything was black, however, it happened at that moment, a Prophetess foretells that Jasmine was born under the misfortune star, thus she will bring misfortune to every man she will ever love or date. This sends the whole empire into a turmoil, because of how popular and respected that Prophetess was, nobody doubted her words.
So, from that day onward everybody started avoiding Jasmine as though she was a plague. It was at that moment that Jasmine believed that Mikaal's death was because of her and her Misfortune star.
However, today someone declared that she was his from today onward. She was still scared yet excited at the same time.
Suddenly, Jasmine thought about Kyle, if she became his. This will make her and her niece, sisters sharing the same man. Maybe she will use this chance to get close to Nui, Jasmine was this sudden thought. She shuddered thinking that something was wrong with her. Since Kyle declared that she was his from now on, she became conscious of him as a member of the opposite sex she may have a relationship with, not the subordinate-superior relationship she had envisaged.
Jasmine sighed she got a little charmed by Kyle earlier, no women will not like to have someone as powerful as Kyle like their man, to top it, he was too mysterious, Kyle is a man hiding numerous secrets, her thirst for revealing them was not die. All these things make Kyle object of desire for most of the women in the current world. Even though she never dated someone, she was sure of it.
Suddenly, Jasmine touched her lips, that was her first kiss she was reserving to Mikaal after confessing her love back then, unfortunately, Mikaal was in love with her Big sister, she never revealed her feeling. After Mikaal death and because she was blaming herself for it, she decided to never date someone, to remain single until she dies. However, that asshole Kyle stole her first kiss. Well, even though it was her soul he kissed, it still counts as a kiss.
Jasmine decided to go back to teach Kyle a lesson (that was an excuse), even though she knew that he was powerful than her.
Jasmine took a deep breath and shouted,
''Mikaal, I'm going now, sorry for causing your death, truly sorry. I do not care about my Misfortune star, from now on I'll live for myself, find my own happiness. I'm not going to feel guilty anymore, it was your choice to follow me and save me. I'm grateful for that, I promise you I live a happy life and If one day I have a child, if it's a boy, I'll name him: Mikaal. Take care Mikaal, I'll do the same on my end. Don't worry, your child Nui has grown up, becoming an extremely beautiful girl. Still, she got charmed by a Big bad wolf, don't worry, I'll take care of her in your stead.''
Jasmine was crying, still, she felt liberated, she felt free in mind and heart. Suddenly, the world she was in, started crumbling and she started disappearing, before totally disappearing she heard a voice, it was Mikaal's voice ''Take care.''
Jasmine smiled before vanishing and when she opened her eyes again, she was back in the throne room, when she looked around she saw three bodies.
Suddenly, Jasmine sensed that something wasn't right, she was sitting on something extremely comfortable, also she was feeling a little breath near her neck, she lowered her head to see to her astonishment that she was sitting on Kyle's thighs. When she looked up, she was greeted by a smiling Kyle.
''Welcome back, my personal headmistress. I see that you followed my advice. It seems that you were very happy to have become mine. Time for my reward.''
Before Jasmine could proceed with what she meant by that, she got her lips sealed again, this time the kiss lasted a little bit more than the previous one. She got kissed twice, in soul form and now physically.
Jasmine became dazed, she forgot to think, she only stared blankly at Kyle's beautiful crimson eyes. Kyle bit on her long ear, her body shuddered, she almost let out a moan.
Kyle muttered ''The first reward, I'll collect the others tonight. I'm selfish, I decided that I want you so I'll take you for myself, be ready I'll come to claim you in body and soul.''
Kyle stepped across space and vanished leaving the dazed Jasmine behind. It took her a few minutes before regaining her calm, her heart was beating hard. Kyle's shameless attacks had sent her mind in turmoil. Thinking about his last message, she blushed, gritting her teeth she swore to isolate her room, maybe that would stop Kyle to sneak in.
Jasmine left the throne room and choose a free room, cleaned herself, and decided to sleep. She didn't forget to isolate her room thinking it may stop Kyle for tonight.
