Chapter 117: Chapter 114: Seeing the Girls again
Back to Kyle's location.
Snow and Angel were chatting happily when suddenly someone started laughing. Naturally, that person was me. The girl stopped talking and looked at me worriedly, especially Angel.
"Calm down girls. I just assisted at something interesting. Well, it doesn't concern you, just go back to your talk." I said trying to calm them down.
Sighing the two muttered in unison.
"Whatever he is planning, it won't end well for whoever is targeted. Seeing that dangerous glint inside his eyes spoke a lot. I can't help but shudder in fear."
"Come on girls what are you talking about? What did you see? I was just laughing nothing more." I said trying to defend myself.
The girls wore 'As if we will believe in you' kind of face before going back to their previous activity.
Shaking my head I decided to concentrate on what I planned to do after spying on those two fools.
'Hehehe, to think Luxor was planning something so sinister. I would have never expected he was so sinister, no so clever might be the right word. Still, he underestimates me too much. Wanting to live a peaceful life doesn't mean I'll let someone step on me, especially if what you're going to do will throw my peaceful life into chaos. Well, I'll use your plans against you. It's a little boring anyway, maybe some a little tension will do, I'll be watching from the sidelines.'
While I was thinking about how should I use this chance offered by Luxor, the girls came.
As usual, the first group was composed of Emea, Emia, Nui, and Kaguya, while the second group was composed of Nemesis, Luna, Hao Tianshi, the Xiao twins, and Qin Feixue, the last group was composed of Delia, Andrea, and Eleonora.
When Snow saw the girl she smiled and welcome them, "Welcome, we were waiting for you."
"Evening, Snow, and Angel. Oh? Angel seems to have become powerful somehow. What happened?" Emia asked, the other girls observed Angel trying to see whether she had become powerful or not, however except for Emea, Nui, Kaguya, and Nemesis, the other girls did not notice anything different. They looked at Emia with questioning faces as if to say what are you talking about?
But having seen the flustered Angel some of them judged by her reaction that it was true, however when they were about to inquire further I chime in.
"Say girls why are you acting as you haven't seen me?"
Finally, some of the girls turned their faces in my direction, mostly my women. In a blended tone, Emea said "Evening Kyle." That'll she said.
I stared at her surprised, Is she angry with me? I asked myself but I shook my head after seeing Nui trying to fight laughter. 'Oh, it seems that they want to play. Let's play then.'
Putting on a dejected expression I said, "It seems that I'm not welcomed here better take my leave then. Seeing you later girls."
I stepped across space and disappeared, however, I reappeared shortly hiding my presence, not even Emea, Emia, and Nui could notice my presence.
After I left Luna asked worriedly "Big sister Emea why didn't you stop Kyle before he left? Now he is gone. What are you going to do if he became angry?"
"Oh? Believe in me he won't be angry for something like that. Hell no, I bet he knew we were playing with him. Didn't you saw the smirk on his face when he was leaving?"
Nemesis answered before raising a question.
"Big sister?" Luna said looking at Nemesis as if to say why do you look so sure of yourself?
However before she could raise another question Angel who was silent since the start finally couldn't take it anymore therefore she raised a voice,
"Tell me why did act like that when you saw him? He was waiting for you for more than six hours and when you came you acted like this? What wrong with you?"
"Nothing wrong with us, however what wrong with you? Why are so angry when the concerned party didn't look angry? What is your problem with whatever we do to our man?" Nemesis counterattack.
Angel couldn't retort at all, technically she was not my woman, she may have feelings for me but that's all, I haven't accepted her even when showed an interest in her on our first meeting.
From here I was I couldn't help but smile seeing her getting angry for my sake. Well, knowing Nemesis's personality she will never let a chance to tease a new lamb go. It doesn't matter I will not intervene, I just want to know who came with this idea of playing 'We are angry' game with me. I have my little idea on whom this person was but I just wanted a confirmation.
"Why are you not answering? Or perhaps do you take yourself as his woman already? This without hearing our confirmation first to boot? You're too daring little Angel did you know that?" Nemesis said eyes narrowed, she released a little bit of her power trying to intimidate Angel and it worked.
Even with her newfound power, Angel felt utter powerless in front of Nemesis, being stared at like that with her heterochromia eyes, Angel couldn't help but shudder. She became teary-eyed, she looked pitifully at Snow asking for assistance. Snow disregarded her, she even smirking mumbling 'It's retribution for your earliest action, you spoiled my quality time with Kyle. Now, I'll let you get bullied. Serve you right.'
Angel became crestfallen hearing Snow's words, tears started to gather in her eyes, the other girls acted as though they had not seen anything until finally, someone spoke. Unexpectedly it was Kaguya, glaring at Nemesis she said,
"Stop it now. You've already bullied her enough don't you think? Poor girl, look at her she was trembling. A little bit more and she would have started crying. Don't be too cruel."
"Come here Ange, let Big sister take care of you."
My lips twitched when I heard Kaguya calling herself Angel Big sister.
'You have the same age as her if I do remember correctly. Then why the hell you are calling yourself Angel's Big sister?' I asked myself before shaking my head.
The other girls rolled their eyes hearing Kaguya's words, unbothered she beckoned Angel to come toward her and as if drawn by something, Angel went toward Kaguya to have her head patted like a child.
Nemesis being Nemesis would never admit defeat, especially if her opponent was Kaguya. I dunno what kind of bad blood they have in their previous life but I'm sure those two like to cause trouble for each other. Well, it's mostly at the level of pranks, nothing serious, though.
Crossing her arms, Nemesis spoke "If you want to do something. Can you do it sincerely for once?"
"What are you talking about I wonder," Kaguya replied nonchalantly, she continued to pat Angel's head, the latter was using her Big chest as a cushion.
Nemesis's lips twitched and she glared at Kaguya.
"You're shameless to boot. You're grinning. You're enjoying yourself right now. You fake thing."
Now it was Kaguya's turn to crease her brows.
"Hehehe, I see. If I'm a fake thing then you're just a little spoiled kid. Just because Kyle was busy and didn't ask about you, you decided to play this game once we are in front of him. Did you hear me, My Prince, I know you are still here, it's Nemesis who came with this idea. It has nothing to do with us, we were just forced to play along.''
After Kaguya spilled the beans, Emea and others quickly retreated not wanting to suffer my retribution.
Nemesis became angry, ''You traitor, you promised that you will not say anything and now you go back on your word. Shameless traitor.''
Kaguya only shrugged her shoulders before dragging Angel with her. Before disappearing from Nemesis sight she looked at the latter and smirked, not forgetting to mumble something 'It my win this time again'
''You'' Nemesis glared at the retreating Kaguya, she wants to say something but stopped when she felt my presence. Like a broken marionette she turned her head in my direction.
''Well, I wonder what should I do with you?'' I asked face full of smile.
