Chapter 2: Rebirth
"Well, hello…god."
<-------A few moments ago------->
'Alright! Done with paperwork! Yay! Now I can relax!' a certain goddess said as she lay down in her dimensional futon bed. Her dimension looked damn beautiful as if it were the centre of the universe.
"Huh? What's that?" An odd speck of light seemed to be in the darker space in the void. Looking closer at it, she quickly sat up in her bed and covered her mouth.
'Impossible! This soul has been here for trillions of years! H-h-h-how is this possible! I should check on this soul!' Quickly materializing her work clothes, the goddess ventured out into the void of her dimension and appeared in a blinding flash of light.
Arriving in front of the soul, the last thing she expected was to hear it speak!
"Well, hello…god. Or should I say, goddess?"
'Hmm, this soul seems intelligent and sane. What should I do with it though…Oh right! My brother found a soul too and sent it to another world with five wishes! Everything here is so boring anyway! I think the soul's name was…Adrian Gomez? Nah! Doesn't matter! I might as well try it!' the goddess thought as she looked at the soul in front of her.
"Well, considering you passed a trial you shouldn't have had to endure, I will give you five wishes and a free reincarnation to any world you desire!"
"…"
After a brief staring competition, Rei floated backwards slightly and shouted, "What!!! You aren't kidding me right?"
"Nope!" the goddess replied.
"Hmm…Well then, I ask for—"
"Sorry, unlimited wishes are unallowed. Also, I will now decide what is worth one wish from now on as punishment for that attempt!"
"Ack!" Rei then started seriously considering things and replied rather straightforwardly:
"For the world, make it MHA and for my first wish, I want to be the same age as Midoriya and be an orphan adopted by the Yaoyorozu family. For my second wish, give me unlimited materials from all dimensions which I can summon at any time as well as an unlimited gamer's inventory. For my third wish, let me design how I will look using a virtual-ish interface and for my fourth wish, let me keep all of my memories," Rei said after running 14,000,605 calculations in his head.
"Alright, the first wish works, the second wish is a bit big, but it works too, the third wish works too and your fourth one works too. One question though, why didn't you use your fifth wish?" the goddess asked curiously. She expected the soul to at least ask for all the wishes but was surprised when it didn't.
"Well, the wishes are good, and I think I'll keep the fifth one for later. I would have asked for special effects when I do my stuff like light trails to look cooler, but I don't want to waste 1/4 of a wish on that," Rei replied. Unknown to the public, Rei was a very intense otaku. He actually went to conventions in perfect disguises too and somehow managed to get episodes straight from Crunchyroll and Funimation before release. Heck! He even learnt Japanese just so that he could watch anime and read light novels without needing translations! To be fair, he did learn it in about 5 seconds so…Whatever! You get it! He is an extreme otaku!
"Alright, well, do you want that because you have exactly 1/4 of a wish left from the character creation one," the goddess said.
"What! Um, alright then. I do wish for that then," Rei enthusiastically replied.
"Alright then! Create your character, and you will get everything else when you reincarnate!" the Goddess said in expectation of the show.
After hearing those words, Rei said, "Thanks!" before a screen popped up in front of him and he started messing with it.
<-------A thousand years later-------> (We all know this plight. Creating a character is so difficult because you will always have regrets later. It's not a matter of if, but when. What's worse, you spend like five hours on it, and then restart the game because you don't like it. Skyrim guys, you know what I'm talking about.)
"Alright, and done!" said a tired Rei. He had finally finished creating his character.
The first thing Rei did was start off with the base model of Tatsuya Shiba. Altering it a bit, Rei loosened the hair up a bit so that it wouldn't look so droopy, changed the right eye into a purple colour and the left into an amber one. He also added a few locks of white and red onto the hair. However, unknown to the goddess, Rei did some scientific things to his body because the human body, well… it's imperfect, and he couldn't do it to himself when he was back on earth. o one would allow it.
To the body itself, Rei added four more hearts which all connected to different circulatory systems. He also redesigned his genes so that there would never be any flawed copies and removed the need of shortening the cell to duplicate so that he could attain immortality. He changed his system of regeneration and increased all white blood cells, platelets and many more.
Rei also changed his ability to regenerate to that of an Axelotl's (Go search it up if you don't know) and placed an emergency function in all of his cells so that as long as he had at least one cell remaining, he would eventually regenerate. He also made it so that he could convert nuclear power and sunlight as an energy replacement.
Adding universal toxin and disease resistance along with an easier time to repair muscles, replenish energy and keep the body flexible, Rei also put a failsafe on his hearts so that the hearts would be able to serve as vital organs (liver, lungs, e.t.c.) in case of an emergency.
Finished with his changes, Rei finally worked on his assets. Making it 10 inches long, and 2 inches thick when flaccid, it would measure up to 13 inches long and three inches thick when erect. Rei also worked on his jewels, removed the refractory period and made sure he could go at least fifty rounds without getting tired, losing his ability to ejaculate or lack in semen to ejaculate with (Rei can consciously control how much he puts out). He also made sure that in the rare case his testicles were destroyed, he wouldn't regenerate them impotently.
Increasing his bone density, Rei also made sure that they were almost unbreakable and increased his senses to the maximum limit.
Exiting the interface, Rei looked at the goddess and said, "I'm done."
"Alright, well, let's reincarnate you now then," replied the goddess before opening a portal.
Stepping forward, Rei arrived at the portal. Looking back at the goddess, Rei made a bow and said, "Rei Rin Gomez sincerely thanks this goddess for her benevolence," before falling into the portal backwards.
"Huh? Gomez! Wait, do you have any connection to—"
*Fwip
The portal closed before the goddess could finish speaking, and Rei's head was already in the portal before that, so he couldn't hear a word she said.
Floating in the endless darkness, Rei thought to himself, 'Okay, I'm in my mother's womb. How long will it take before— Never mind. Hello, world!'
A pushing sensation around him, Rei didn't resist at all. In fact, he helped her by making his legs as compact as possible and his upper body as streamlined as possible. Feeling himself get pushed out, Rei suddenly felt a blockage.
'Come on, she was a virgin surrogate! No!'
After five minutes of struggle, Rei felt the blockage open up, and a bright white light shone upon his face. Feeling the doctor's hands on my body, I took my first and most painful breath. Without any control over my body, I cried, saving me from the fate of being slapped in the ass by the doctor.
Warm cloth wrapping enveloped my body as I was brought to my mother. Looking at her caring eyes, I embraced her as hard as I could. Looking upwards at her face once more, I saw her open her mouth, and her pained words hit me like a truck.
"My son. I'm sorry I can't be with you for the rest of the way. I love you so much, I wish I could be with you," she said as tears flowed out of her eyes, "You are my beloved star in the sky, and jewel of my world. I love you."
Caressing my hair, she spoke once more: "Rei. Your name shall be Rei Rin Hayashi."
At this point, I managed to stop crying out loud and looked at her lovingly, tears still running down my cheeks. I opened my mouth to say something, but my vocal cords were undeveloped, and only a wail came out.
Smiling at me, my mother said, "I love you," before she lost consciousness.

Her lifeless eyes stared at me, yet her smile still contained warmth. All my tears flowed out, and all I wanted was a few more seconds with my mother. Fate, however, is unforgiving and brutal.
*Boom
The concrete wall to my left burst and the force behind the explosion sent me to the back of the room. In the corner, I saw my mother's corpse, still wearing that caring smile. Looking at the cause, I saw All For One and All Might duking it out. However, what I saw next broke me.
Stepping backwards, All For One stepped on my mother's corpse creating a blooming bloody flower. My eyes turned livid. The sight ingrained in memory, I let out an aura I thought I had abandoned.
Killing Intent.
As a genius, I have been in conflict with many, and once, I had to fight against a literal army of ten thousand all by my self. With no real weapons save for the chains on either side of my body, I struggled to survive, but when I killed the hundredth person, I saw something that would change me forever. My best friend. Bloodied, limbs broken and cut, his tortured face staring into my eyes, the sight broke me, and I turned into a monster.
Filled with rage, I slaughtered every single person around me and went on a world trip to slaughter every person in their organization. It took one whole year, and during that one year, anyone who saw me would piss their pants in fear of death. When I finally met the boss of the organization, he asked me a question.
"A-are you a monster?"
Self-conscious of what I had become, I replied plainly, "No, I'm a devil," before decapitating him.
Right after that, the impact of what I had done had hit me. I became a recluse for a bit, before managing to hide all the pain, sorrow and murderous aura within me. However, faced with a similarly gruesome sight, the chains I put in place shattered, and the rage came out like a river.
All For One stopped in his tracks and fell to his knees. All Might had to resist the pressure. Looking at me, All Might thought, 'What a murderous aura, why does a baby have that? And why am I feeling pressure? The target isn't even me!?'
Looking for a reason why a baby would have such resentment, he saw a sight that would sicken him. The smiling face of a caring mother, covered in blood as her upper and lower body were separated, the split caused by All For One's foot.
His face turning into that of rage, All Might looked at All For One and shouted, "United States of Smash!!!" uppercutting the immobilized All For One.
Seeing All For One flying into the air, my aura started to die out as exhaustion kicked in from using it. The world before me getting darker, the last thing I saw was three other people coming into the room.
"All Might, where's All For One?" Gran Torino asked.
His gaze alternating between the mother and child, All Might responded, "Up there."
Before anyone could say anything else, All Might said, "Someone, please adopt that child. His mother is lying dead on the floor, and this could affect his life in the future becoming a huge scandal. If it weren't for him, All For One might have actually caused more damage too." The last line was said in his thoughts.
Mr Yaoyorozu understanding the gaze All Might gave the child, said, "I'll adopt him. Check if he has a name."
Gran Torino feeling the most for the kid went to the register, pulled out a sheet of paper and said, "Rei Rin Hayashi. His name is Rei Rin Hayashi."
Walking over to Rei, Mr Yaoyorozu held him close to his chest. Looking into Rei's reluctant, aggrieved expression in contrast with his relaxed face, Mr Yaoyorozu held him tighter and said, "Rei Yaoyorozu. His name is Rei Yaoyorozu."
Looking at his face once more, Mr Yaoyorozu said, "Hello, my son."
