Chapter 51: Tiring Day
Edd received a handover document with pleasure and read it slowly.
"Are you that busy? It's nine o'clock at night. You guys are still in that room. Was it that fun doing this mission?" Edd immediately glared at the interrogation officer. His emotions exploded instantly.
"Bro, many times I almost died handling the file files of this case. Please visit our room and witness the hellish torture from Noell. Free of charge." Said Edd who made the officer laugh evilly later.
"No need to be that friendly. I'm not a holy man who wants to die young." Edd chuckled irritable hearing that.
"Okay. I'll take these documents."
"Tell her I owe her one treat." Edd nodded too. Limp he walked back to his room. Prepare to take on another kind of hellish torment in his team room.
Edd smiled wryly when he reached the door. He then opened the door to his room, careful not to disturb his colleagues and then returned to his desk without saying much.
Noell leaned back in her work chair wearily. Her body was like crumbling with almost no strength remaining because she had just finished her file all day. She sighed heavily as his eyes saw her comrade in hug each other like one who had lost their soul. She even felt their soul hovering on the ceiling of the room. How a pity, their soul finally calmed down now. She shook her head.
Noell is forced to faithfully open her eyes to immediately investigate Nathan's case. The darkroom only had the light from her computer running. She read each paragraph very carefully. While her hand took the headphones and played the voice recording from the voice recorder.
"Nathan will join the illegal research being developed by an organization. I don't know what Nathan will plan. But the scientists there are very strange. I don't know about the human army revolution." Noell continued listening to the tape.
"Then, when will Nathan join in there? Is he their biggest sponsor?"
"That's right. I received word the day before the chaos in the palace from Alden. And the plan lasted five days from that day," Noell immediately recorded the date of their meeting.
"Then where is their research center?"
"District J. There is a basement in the former mental hospital building. I don't know the exact location."
"Is Nathan going to bring a small scouting army in there?"
"Not that much. They're just watching, about five people. I don't know who they are, it's just that they're Alden's elite troops."
"Was the money raised from last month's illegal arms sales?"
"No. They keep secret about where the weapon was sent. But about the funds that are obtained, I would not be surprised if Nathan is the richest person in the world today."
"Do you know of some of the other big illegal transactions?"

"Do you know who has worked with him before?"

Noell was pensive for a moment. This information is great. She didn't even think that Nathan would sponsor such gruesome research. And Noell did not have a quiet day in her life. Especially when she saw Nathan in her room. He slept on his side while reading her book and lying on her bed. She feels wanted to cry howl it felt. She insisted on driving a car in such conditions, it seemed natural that she did not have the energy to just take a shower and clean herself.
Noell walked over to the bed. Leaving her bag on the floor with her car keys and immediately shuffled over to the bed. She lay on the side and immediately closed her eyes for sleep.
"AC," She said, trying not to lose her strength the slightest bit. Nathan chuckled, she looks adorable by her attitude. Since she comes home he had noticed her with interest. Her arrival seemed like people almost dead from workaholism.
He's pulled her waist to sleep a little to the middle and then turned on the AC for the princess. She's not many protests like usual, Nathan tolerated her. From morning and just got home at 5 am she was very tired. Even though he did not know what she was doing while languishing in her that proud military base.
Nathan wanted to protest against Noell's insane system of work. No matter how strong humans are, her body must have a breaking point too. For several times, he believed she can take care of her body properly and took care of the food and drink she consumed. He wants just telling her, schedule herself on a human-sized, not god-sized schedule.
He embraced her from behind. She smelled sharper from not showering today. Not the smell of sweat, but her distinctive body scent. For god sake, it smelled like nicotine to him that he thought of creating a perfume with Noell's scent. His libido immediately rose. It felt very excruciating to be around her in this condition.
He grabbed the blanket and immediately covered her body, he was afraid that something untoward would happen if it was kept like that. He is feeling better now. And the next second, he fell asleep too while hugging the lump of blanket that was burying Noell like a roll of sushi.

Alden was a little busy this morning because Nathan had planned a date with Noell today. Usually, he will be in the office in the morning, now almost 24 hours he is with his ideal lover. Alden doesn't know what he did with her. He had thought about Nathan and Noell having a plan to have a baby before legal marriage. Alden rubbed his face, he couldn't stop thinking about them.
