Chapter 13: Infirmary
"Magic?" Logan looked at me with sparkling eyes.
"Yup." I smiled at her.
I had already spoken to the Erotica System and traded 15 of my points into money. Although it's just 3,000 in total, and it won't cover her grandmother's surgery, it's still a big morale boost if I give it to Logan.
*Buzz *Buzz
Logan's phone buzzed from her back pocket and notifications appeared one after another.
"E-excuse me." Although still crestfallen, she took out her phone and looked at the notifications. Her grandmother is still in the hospital, so she had to make sure she reads all her notifications in case it was to contact her.
[ $3,000 has been deposited into your account from a breast fiend. ]
"Eh? Breast fiend?" Logan rubbed her eye and read her notification once more.
"Y-You sent this?? W-Why? How?" Logan showed a puzzled face and suspiciously gazed at me. A bunch of questions emerged at once. First off, her best friend in front of her didn't even touch his phone! How was he able to send the money!? Did he set this up beforehand? But he shouldn't have known…
"Hehe. Do you like the magic?" I snapped my finger and brushed my hair back to look cool.
Just a while ago, I had asked the System if it could transfer the money over to Logan. To my surprise, it could do it without a hitch, and it even allows me to change my name at will. That's just a small perk to make my trick a bit more magical, though.
"I do!! But…" Logan's hand shook and she hesitated. $3,000 is not a small amount! Even though she really needs the money, she couldn't just take it from him!
"Don't worry about the money. I'm not giving you this because I want something from you. I'm doing this because we are best friends, and I just don't want to see you suffer." I winked at her.
"But that still-!"
"Oh wait!" I interrupted her. I didn't want this to be a situation where we go back and forth about the money.
"If you insist, I can take you as my wife! I'm really needing some you know…" I smiled and curled my fingers. I then grabbed the air as if I'm grabbing some plump bosoms.
"No way!" Backed off from me and covered her chest. They're still kind of small, though… so she's not covering much.
"Hahaha" I laughed to cheer up the mood.
"Pffft" Logan followed and laughed.
"Like I said, don't worry about the money. I have a way to help you cover it. If you want more, you might have to consider being my wife! Anyways, just focus on school if that's what you wish to do. Do not let money be something that binds you. And don't… cry."
Hearing her best friend, Logan beamed with a smile. She isn't going to reject the money and act as if she doesn't need it because she really does need it. At this moment in time, she told herself that she's going to repay him someday.
"Thank you." Logan blushed and tilted her head down a bit. Due to the windows in the infirmary being opened, a Spring breeze came in and made her hair flutter. The air smelt like blooming flowers and fresh dew.
Seeing her like that, I felt my heart warm up. It's just too bad that this'll just be a moment in my life where I could look back and reminisce about.
"So… How did you do it?" Logan curiously asked.
"Would you believe me if I say that I'm a supernatural." I said to her jokingly even though I am considered a supernatural since I have the Erotica System.
"I would." Logan nodded heavily.
I choked at her answer. I didn't expect her to say yes. "Anyways, do you want to stay in here for a bit more or go back to class?"
"I want to stay in here for a while longer." Logan instantly made her decision.
"But… would you hug me for a bit? D-Don't get the wrong idea or anything! I just want someone to lean on, and you just happen to be the only one here." Logan made space on the bed next to herself for me as soon as she finished saying it.
"Sure." I gladly accepted her request as a good friend - not as a perverted friend. I scooted next to her and wrapped my arm around her shoulders and she too wrapped her arms around me.
Together, we sat in the infirmary silently. Together, we enjoyed the spring breeze coming in from the window.
If it wasn't for Logan who still wants to go back to class later, I would have ditched class and slept here for the day.

AzureRaven69 I have things to do IRL. Therefore, my release schedule will be quite slow or be irregular. I don't want to give up writing this novel as I still have many more "sessions" I want to write, but who knows.
