Chapter 1: Prologue

"Cold..."

"Pain..."

"Darkness..."

"Regret..."

He thought to himself over and over again. Stuck at a seamless void. No light, no people, nothing. Seconds. Minutes. Hours. Months. Years. He never knew, as time is irrelevant when stuck in the void. Floating at the unknown.

"Pardon my manners, as it seems I have forgotten to turn on the lights" Said by what he thinks a cute voice.

"A girl" He thought again. "In this endless void, there is other people here with the same fate as mine?"

Then, he heard a snap. Instantaneously, a flicker of a second, and everything turned white. Amazed and blinded by what happened, he then found gravity. What felt like floating, now he stood with his own two feet. What he thought was blindness is then exchanged for sight. But deep inside, he still felt nothing. The emotions and thoughts a while ago still bugged his mind. As if there was something missing. He looked everywhere and anywhere, and it is plain white. He then stared down and saw bits of white armor. The leggings were beaten and almost destroyed. The iron boots still clinging for its life. The chestplate that has a big hole on its heart. Underneath were a plain black shirt and black jeans, both crumpled.

He felt as weightless as a feather, and the heavyness of the armor itself didn't affect him. What caught his interest is the hole in his heart. He almost touched it till...

"Yahooooo, over hereee!!!" Said again by that cute voice of a girl. Again, he looked everywhere and saw two chairs, a fire place with a lit fire, and a girl, "Or a woman" He thought to himself.

He slowly walked over to the waving hand of the girl, smiling at how lucky he was. After being stuck in the dark for who knows what, he finally saw another person.

After a short walk, he finally reached the area and sat at the vacant chair. He looked suspiciously at the girl and finally able to see what she looked like. A red dress filled with frills over the lower and shoulder part. A long black gloves on both of her hands, and with red heels. Her hair and eyes are both red, with her porcelain skin and her big che....

"Oh my, oh my" her hand covering her lips. "Never thought our saviour is actually a huge pervert" A disappointed stare then looked at top to bottom and sighed. "What face can I show to your parents after this..." She then composed herself and whispered to herself " But he does got the good looks from his father, and the white pure eyes of her mother" She then grabbed her fan and opened it, covering her lips "I guess I will let it pass"

He then wondered about the words the woman said. "Saviour?" "Parents?" He muttered to himself.

"Oh yes, yes, I forgot. The spell you did just a while ago made you forgot your memories, but alas, it was all for nothing." She said then gazing down at the floor, feeling sad all of a sudden. After she talked, he found the voice to speak and asked her a question.

"What do you mean by a spell? Why am I labeled as a saviour? Who are my paren...." The girl stood up, and placed a finger on his lips.

"One question at a time" She winked "Well, it is the price for doing that spell. Don't worry, surely your memories will come back." She then kissed his forehead and patted his head. Looking at him with pity and delight, smiling at the process. "But this will make it a bit more faster." He then blushed, his face as beet as red, then suddenly past out.

A stream of memories flew by his mind at the speed of light, her parents face, everything that happened in his past life.

He then returned back into the white space. He opened his eyes and felt something soft beneath his head. After a bit of thinking, he immediately stood up and looked to see the woman in a sitting position. Her thighs and legs acting as a lap pillow.

"Oh my, Oh my, that was surely long." She then stood up and sat at the chair again.

"What are the flip are you doing!?" He shouted at her, his face still beet red.

"Well, just looking after you, I mean, the instant memory transmission made you past out and looking at your face" She grinned and made a knuckle and slowly put the side of her face whilst her legs were crossed "made my heart skip a beat"

He was about to argue again till the woman shushed her.

"But atleast you remembered what happened" She asked. He silently nodded. "Good, because what we are to talk about is your fate, your future for say." She gestured at the vacant chair. "Now sit, as this may take a while." He slowly sat again to the chair where he sat last time.

"First, before we talk about your future. Let's talk about the happenings of the past." She then snapped again and everything turned black then they sat at a place filled with chaos and darkness. Corpses of humans and monster alike were seen everywhere. Fire and the rumbling sounds of swords, cannons, and arrows were to be heard. The dying voices and shouts of the warriors of the battlefield, as it seem there is war. The woman then started to talk

"Once upon time, the great plains were filled of war and chaos, as the malevolent emperor was filled of cruelty and corruption, which resulted to the inequality of the races, expensive taxes, and many more."

"From time to time, rebellions started but none succeeded" She then swiped and saw the realistic figures of five people. The faces were covered in black.

"Five heroes from different places then banded together to defeat the malevolent emperor. One was known for her expertise for the bow, decked in green armor, killing her enemies silently at the shadows. The second was known for his ability on using the sword, decked in red armor, he shows no mercy as he slashes his foes to oblivion. The third was known for her knowledge as a healer, decked in blue armor, her healing abilities can cure even a torn off limb. The fourth was known for his sturdiness as a tank, decked in grey armor, he can withstood even the strongest blows. The fifth was known for her ability of the spear, decked in black armor, she can control multiple spears and deal blows from different directions at once." She said

"I have mostly known the lore of the five heroes" He said, interrupting the woman. "But, from what I know, there are..."

"I forgot to say to you" She said, glaring at him which made him silent "But no questions until I finish talking? Okay?" He silently nod.

"Continuing what I said" The scene then changed to a court room "After defeating the emperor, he said in his last words that "humanity shall perish yet again, as the advent of the end soon come" He was then struck by a spear in the head and the five talked about what the emperor said. Terrified about what's to come, they then searched far and wide to search for an answer, or any type of information, about the coming of the advent."

The scenery then changed to a large cave, which housed a very large tree. Fireflies of different lights filled the place as water surrounded the area. only a bridge connected the tree to the main land.

"They then heard about a huge tree that gives prophecies at a random time, and for two millenias, did the tree gave nothing. The five heroes then traveled to the location of the tree and until they arrived. They were amazed by how aesthetic and beatiful the place is. Founded at the center of the world, they then walked towards the tree itself. Arriving at the tree, it then shimmered words in white color in its bark. It proved the fact a prophecy will show, and it rested the hearts of the heroes. After writing and remembering the prophecy, they then walked in separate ways, creating their own nations, upbringing their own skills at the kingdoms they've created."

The scenery then changed back into the white place once again. His heart beating madly at the events he saw, while the woman at the opposite side of him stood unfazed by what happened.

"Now? Any questions?" She asked him.

"First, what was the prophecy they saw at the

of the tree" He said

"I think you will know once you come back"

"To what?"

"You'll know later" She then lit the dying fire with the use of her hands. "Next question, as time is of the essence"

He was astounded by the woman did, but continued all the same.

"What's your name?"

"Hmmm" She thought to herself before answering. "Let's just go with Aka for now, as it is my favorite color after all."

"But, why can't you tell me your real name?"

"Mortals cannot comprehend the names of the divine, as upon hearing it will make you deaf. Only a few mortals heard my true name and survive to tell the tale, but of course, they cannot speak of it, the true name I mean." She said

"Ah ok... WAIT, YOUR A GODDESS?" He shouted, taken aback by the sudden reveal.

"Ah, right, forgot to tell you that also." She then weakly knocked her head "Must've been forgetful this past few millenias."

"Then, what goddess are you?" He weakly asked, now scared about the unpoliteness he did and might incur her wrath.

"Don't worry" She winked again "I won't kill you or transmorph you or something. I did promised your father not to hurt you after you might seemingly fail and meet me. Now, what goddess am I?" She rubbed her chin using her index finger and thumb. "I am the goddess of fate"

"Father, what did you do after all this time that you knew a goddess, and fate by that!" He thought to himself, applauding his father for his courage and stupidity on befriend a goddess

"Well, your father is charming after all. Sadly, I was beaten by your mortal mother. Ugh, his beautiful starry blue eyes, his black soft hair, his abs, his...." She coughed "I'm sorry for wasting your time on this, you only have one question left" She said, covering her lips again using her fan and closing her eyes. Embarrassed by her daydreaming in front of his son. Her face also beet red like a tomato

"Okaayyy, then." He said. `She can read my mind?" He thought to himself, then, he continued. "Who and where are my parents, and what did they look like."

She then inhaled and exhaled, and seriously looked me in the eyes. "Sorry" She stood and walked towards him and gently put her hands on both of her shoulders. "I can't say, as it was promised that I won't talk about them, even to their own son. Only I can say that you will meet them one day. Time will only tell on when that day will come." She gently removed her hands on my shoulders, and suddenly bowed.

"What the?" He thought to himself, confused by the sudden gesture that he stood up and bowed as well.

"That was all the time I could spare, as the more you stayed here, the more you cannot be revived."

"What are you saying? I still have so many questions" He said "Like, Aka, what and where are the gods and goddesses? What happened to the world I lived in after my decision? What happened to my friends? What happened to her? How did I get here in the first place? What is this place? and" He thought to himself, over and over again, but he cannot remember, no matter how many times he tried, no matter how many times he tried, after floating at the void for so long, he can't remember anything. He remembered the past because of her but not his...

"Who am I?" He asked. He is slowly getting transported, parts of his body turning white, but he felt no pain, only the cold.

"This I can only say with what time we have left" She said as she sat down again

"At the past, you've failed to stop the advent of the end, at the cost of the lives of everyone. But, before you were utterly destroyed. You casted a spell with your unique power, a power that can rival even the gods. Then, you turned back time. Before you could, you must past through me first whether you can or cannot. That is why you are here. To correct the mistake of the past. To save the lives of not yourself, but everyone, especially her."

The white blocks now reached his waist.

"The gods and goddesses are now in a cold war, thus they have failed to see the coming end of your world, they have failed to stop it on time and have no power to recreate your world. Only me and time can do that, but at the risk that a part of the universe will diminish, and so we cannot create your world and forsake the others."

The white blocks now reached his neck

"The prophecy will be given to you in due time, and with that, you might also find your parents, as they are needed to stop the advent."

The white blocks are now at his mouth

"Lastly, your name is..."

Then, he was gone

>:T

The torrent rain casted its anger on the land. Everything that was fragile and brittle were being destroyed. The trees trying its best to root itself onto the ground. The gust of winds were cold and strong.

Then, a courageous hooded man walked hurriedly on the forest, trying to find a place to stay in for the night. He was carrying a baby, covered in a blanket, as big as a medium rock. The baby was crying very loudly amidst the booms of thunder and lightning.

The man then found what he was looking for, a cottage not to big nor to small. Smoke fuming out of the chimney. The man hurriedly went for the door and knocked as hard as he could. Then, a woman looked at the window and is surprised and closed the curtains again. The sound of locks is heard and the door opened.

"Why are you walking amidst this foul storm? And is that?" She pointed at the baby "WHY WOULD YOU BRING A BABY IN HERE WHILE THERE WAS A STORM!? ARE YOU SERIOUSLY...."

"I know, I know, very stupid of me" He said, then passing the baby onto the woman "But he cannot stay with us anymore, as the emperor targets us much more by the second. You're the only one I can trust to take care of him." He said while out of breath, taking a breather before fixing his hood and readying himself to go once again. "Now, I must go, before you and the baby are targeted as well."

He hurriedly ran again towards the storm and his figure was never seen again. The lady then closed the door and walked towards her room, calming the baby down and placing it onto the bed.

"You know" She said while looking at the baby

"You're father, my brother, is really stupid huh." The baby now sleeps peacefully at the bed. "You got the white hair of your mother, while you got the starry blue eyes of your father. What am I going to do now?" She said, now unwrapping the blanket that covered the baby, she then saw a piece of paper, written on it was the name of the child.

"Evan"
