Chapter 18: chapter 18- the bouty
"Kyaaaa!!, Luffy why the hell did you bring a skeleton?!" Nami screamed as soon as she saw Brook, "where the hell did you find that thing?" Sanji asked in curiosity, and Zoro just expected the skeleton which I didn't know if I was glad or concerned about it. Brook dashed towards Nami "may I see your panties?", "like hell you can!" Nami yelled and kicked Brook and somehow, even I don't know how she did it, made a swollen bruise on his head. "Feisty aren't you?" Brook replied as he fell on the floor.
"Everyone, meet Brook, he will be part of our crew now" I said to the trio. "I was hoping you wouldn't say that" Nami complained while Zoro and Sanji just sighed. "Well then, welcome to the crew Brook. Since you are a skeleton I don't know if you eat or not but if you do just tell me what you like and I will make it for you" Sanji said. "By the way, Zoro, this guy is a very good swordsman and he will be your training partner for the future, so you should get to know him" Zoro immediately asked to spar with Brook after he heard me say he's a swordsman since he was trying to break through to the "master swordsman" level and any tough opponent will help him, especially a swordsman.
"Guys the newspaper is here" Nami notified us as she took the newspaper from the seagull that arrived and gave him the money.

"Luffy, come here NOW!" Nami yelled as her face began to pale. "What's wrong Nami?" I asked since I was somewhat confused as to why she called me. "Now Luffy, I'm going to ask you a question and you are going to answer me truthfully. what did you do at the holy land?" Nami asked in a sweet voice but that made her even more terrifying. "Please tell me what you did to acquire a bounty of FIVE BILLION BERRIES?!", "WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY?!" Zoro and Sanji freaked out while Brook praised me "yohohoho very good for your first bounty captain, I'm impressed".
"So it went straight to five billion, I was expecting around a billion if they remembered my face but five is a surprise, oh I get it now. I used my conquerors haki to knock out the cp-0 guys, but of course, it would kill the celestial dragons who were exposed to it, I wonder how many I killed probably in the doesns. plus I knocked out cp-0 with no problem, and I'm the son of Dragon so that makes sense" I wondered out loud, *BANG* a loud sound sounded as Nami hit my head.
"What the hell?!" I complained as I poked my new bruise. "Oh don't even start complaining, we haven't even entered the grand line yet you have the bounty of a YONKO?! do you know how many marines and bounty hunters will come after us?! after ME?! if I am caught because I am part of your crew I won't forgive you" Nami ranted. "Why are you so upset about this?" Zoro asked, "like you said we haven't even entered the grand line yet our captain has a bounty that surpasses most of the yonko, this is awesome" it was obvious he didn't understand the problem but I didn't want to be the one to ruin it for him so I kept quiet.
"Ugh, I can't deal with your stupid logic moss head, I'm going to go cook something", Sanji said. "I agree with Zoro, now that our captain is worth about the same as a yonko no one will mess with us yohohohoho" Brook commented. "That's the spirit, now lets head towards the grand line while I upgrade your training programs", suddenly, everyone but Brook paled. "L-Luffy there is no need for that, we are getting a lot stronger as is so you don't have to exhaust yourself" Nami tried to discourage me from giving them new programs.
"But you said it yourself, right now I have the bounty of a yonko so as my crew you guys need to be far more powerful, just so you know, the new training programs will be at least ten times more difficult". Nami collapsed on the floor with no strength in her legs while Zoro went straight to train, as my right-hand man he can't allow the gap between us to be this massive. Sanj was in the kitchen so luckily for his sanity he didn't hear me, and Brook had no idea the kind of hell that awaited him around the corner.
And so the hellish training began and soon after we arrived at the last town before the grand line with surprisingly no intervention. Loguetown was different though. when we arrived, an army of marines as waiting for us, there were thousands of marines led by Smoker. "Well, guess we can't stop here now", I said with disappointment in my voice. "Nami, go straight for the grand line while I crush all those ships" I said to Nami who was at the weel with several bruises covering her. "Fine, just shake off those marines without too much damage. I don't want to have a large bounty too" Nami said with a worried expression. "Hahaha you got it. But I'll still teach them who is the supirior"
