Chapter 4: First Battle
As the goblin started rushing towards me, I looked around for anything around me that I could use as a weapon. However, any rocks or sticks that I saw were too small to be lethal. At this point, it was also too late for me to start running away as turning my back would probably get me killed faster as well. Then, I remembered the shop option of the system and tried to see if I could get my hands on a weapon.
"System, display the shop menu!"

I quickly looked over the options as I realized that I had no way of purchasing any of them as I had no 'Steel'.
"System, is there any other way to get a weapon from the shop?"
[AS THE HOST HAS OPENED THE SHOP FOR THE FIRST TIME, YOU HAVE AN OPTION OF SELECTING EITHER A WEAPON PACKAGE AND AN ARMOR PACKAGE. WHAT THE HOST GETS FROM EITHER WILL BE RAN-]
"JUST GIVE ME THE WEAPON PACK AND OPEN IT QUICKLY!!!"
I shouted in agitation as the goblin was only a few meters away from reaching me. Then, seemingly out of nowhere, a longsword fitting that of my small stature materialized. As soon as I got a hold of the longsword, I then instinctively attacked.
[SLASH]
"DIE YOU FUCKING BASTARD!"
My longsword lodged halfway into the goblin's body. Its blood that spurted out from its wound smeared my face as it shrieked out of pain.
"IIEEEEEKK!!!"
Just as I thought I achieved victory, it then bit down fiercely on my shoulder.
"ARGHHH!!!"
I let out a blood-curdling scream as it bit down even more fiercely, seemingly excited by my screams of pain. I pulled out my longsword from the goblin's body, bringing out with it a few organs that got caught on my now-bloodied blade. Then, I went for its head.
[PIERCE]
"GET THE HELL OFF OF ME!"
With my longsword now lodged in the goblin's head, entering from its jaw and exiting out of the back of its head, it finally got off of me. However, surprisingly enough, it was still able to stand albeit, very disorientated. It was then that I instinctively went to go attack the goblin once more.
[Execution]
I once again slashed towards the goblin, lodging my longsword deeply in its body, blood spurting out fiercely once more on my face and body. I then proceed to pull it out and slashed towards its stomach from its right side, making the goblin bleed even more profusely. Then, I went for its neck to go for a swift decapitation as I walked forward from the side of its body, only to realized that the longsword was stuck inside the goblins neck. As I pulled out once more, it gave off a bone-crunching sound as if I broke the goblin's neck with my vicious action. However, the sound didn't deter me from once more slashing against the neck, finally decapitating it and sending it to the afterlife.
"Wha-What the hell did I just do?"
I fell down in pain and confusion as I looked at the goblin's lifeless head on the ground near me. Its dead, bloodied head with its lifeless eyes. seemed to gaze at the very depths of my soul as I felt something come up from my stomach.
*BLERGH*
I vomited basically nothing but stomach acids because I haven't gotten around to eating anything after I was transported into this new world. After a bit of time, I finally calmed myself down to the point where I could think properly again, albeit still pale from the gruesome experience. The pain from the goblin biting down on my shoulder still hurt a lot so I wanted to find a way to solve it as soon as possible.
"System, is there for you to heal the wound on my shoulder?"
[I CAN ONLY PROVIDE THE USER WITH ARMORY AND WEAPONRY, NOTHING ELSE.]
The cold and mechanical-like voice of the system rung in my head as I was deeply filled with the fear of death. I didn't know how to dress wounds as I never found the need to learn it in my previous life. To try avoiding my wound getting infected and worsening, I went back to the lake and washed it. As I poured water down on the wound, extreme pain surfaced from it, almost causing me to faint. However, my fear of death kept me going as I continued to wash it. Afterwards, I cut off a piece of cloth from my clothes as I wrapped it around the wound.
"That should suffice for now..."
I squirmed about in pain as I tightened the cloth around my arm. I had no idea if this would keep it from becoming infected as I had no idea how to properly dress wounds.
"I guess the only way for me to get treated now is to find some other people to help me out."
I thought aloud as I realized that within these wide mountain ranges, the chances of me finding help was close to none. With my longsword as my walking stick and my only solace of safety, I trod aimlessly among the mountain ranges. I lost track of time as hunger and dehydration alongside the pain of my wound overwhelmed my thoughts. Finally, I seemed to arrive at some sort of settlement with houses and people. I took a step forward and shouted towards them with my painful and dry throat.
"H-Help m-m-mme. Pl-Plea-ease."
As if that was the only bit of energy left in my body, I collapsed to the ground. The darkness clouding my mind as it reminded me of the time of when I died in my previous life. With those last thoughts in mind, I fell unconscious.
