Chapter 17: CHAPTER 16
At this time in a different location in the Navy Tide Nation;
A beautiful fairy like woman landed on the ground. She wore the clothes which belonged to the Frozen Cloud Asgard. Her face was covered with a light veil but it still could hide her enchanting eyes and figure. This was Chu Yuechan one of the seven fairies of the Frozen Cloud Asgard and she was here to hunt a Tyrannical Ice tiger, a peak sky profound realm beast. Her master has ordered her to kill it and bring it's core.
After three months or travel she has finally reached this nation. She would take rest today and tomorrow she would hunt the beast.
She quickly found an inn and booked a room for herself. The owner have her a fifty percent discount because he was enchanted by the grace of Chu Yuechan.
In the room she sat in a cross-legged position and started cultivating.

At this time in a desolate frozen part of the nation one could see two blurs moving in an extremely fast speed and clashing against each other.
*Baam Baam boom* The clashes continued as two figures suddenly appeared on the Iceland.
One of them was a girl who looked like a fourteen or fifteen years old. She has Raven black hair which reached her back. Her skin was as white was snow and her face was extremely beautiful. She wore a white dress which didn't hide her shapely figure and carried sword sheath on her back. She held a katana in her right hand and a spear made of light in her left hand. But her most unique features were the eyes which were orange and had a symbol of gold triskelion. Currently she was planting as she looked forward.
In her front stood a man with looking blue hair. He had a muscular and chiseled body with blue colored markings all over his body. He wore a high collared cloak with fangs and baby pants. He had a sharp gaze.
He was carrying a wooden stick in his left hand which he aimed at the girl.
"Come on" He said as the girl rushed at him aiming her light spear and her sword at him.
*CLASH BANG* She clashed with him as a massive power shockwave was released.
The man easily stopped her attack with the wooden stick. The wooden stick was covered with a faint blue aura. This was magical energy which his profound veins converted from the profound energy.
He pushed the stick which send the girl backwards with a force leaving a long line of her feet on the ground.
"*Huff huff* even after training for a week I can't seem to even make you go serious elder brother" Said the girl as she wiped the sweats away with her forearm.
"You are hundred years too young to challenge me kid. And you are just a early Nascent profound realm practitioner even though you can easily fight sky profound realm people due to your physique" The man said twirling the stick with his hand.
These were Yan and Xiao Mei who had been training for a week now. Yan was able to transfer the powers to Xiao Mei and helped her awaken her Zanpakuto.
He also put the Curse of Einherjar on her unknown to her. This would allow him to take away all her powers if she ever betrayed her. But he believed that she would not do such a thing.
Xiao Mei suddenly aimed at Yan threw her light spear.
*WOOOOOOSSSSHHHH* the light spear flew towards Yan are a sore of light. Yan who saw the spear dodged it by tilting his head as the light spear went post him and hit a mountain.
*KAAAAABBBBBOOOOOOOOOOMMMM* The light spear exploded into a massive nuclear explosion which shook the ground dispersed the clouds and obliterated the mountain.
This was Xiao Mei's Divine Light Arts. It granted her light based powers. She could consume light, project highly concentrated light, create light constructs, move with a speed of light and healing based abilities. Each of the Divine Light Arts moves were extent destructive. And what Xiao Mei was using were just beginner moves. She could even purge darkness and dark based attacks as he power container holy attributes too.
Xiao Mei aimed her index and ring finger together at Yan as fired multiple light bullets at him.
*Bang bang bang boom boom* Each of these bullets had extremely destructive capacity. Yan didn't move from his place instead he sword his arm. A massive wind blast was released by him as all the bullets were repelled.
The bullets hit multiple hills and the ground completely destroying them.
After that she rushed at him by aiming her zanpakuto at Yan's neck with a solid of light. Yan was easily able to react to her as he held her hand and flipped her upside down in a comedic fashion. She fell on the ground and face first and there was a bump on her forehead too. With fury she said up again and started fighting him. It went on for quite sometime.
After sparring for some more time they returned to their inn.
"Elder brother you are too fierce. I can't beat you!!!" She whined as she flopped down on her bed as she gave mock crying face to him.
"Heh you have only started practicing now and you want to beat me!!! Kid you need to train hard to just put a scratch on me" He said with a smirk. After that they both sat in cross-legged position and started cultivating.

At this time in the Xia Manor;
Xia Qingyue her father and her brother we sitting in the dining room and were having their lunch.
Xia Qingyue was eating her lunch with a smile on her face. Both Yuanba and their father were watching this with amazement on their faces. They have never seen her smiling like that. They didn't know whether the sun was rising from the east or west.
"Elder S...sister a.. are you alright?!" Yuanba asked looking at her with a peculiar look.
"Hum what is wrong with me?" She looked at Yuanba with an questioning look.
" Uh....uh .... You don't usually smile elder sister. Has something good happened to you?" He asked scratching his head.
" Hmm nothing much have happened. It's just that I came to a conclusion that the way I have been living my life has been quite shallow. For pursuit of power I was practically ignoring the things for which I needed this power" She said as her expression became softer as she looked at them.
"Father and Yuanba I am really sorry for being such a person. I became cold towards the both of you even though you both do so much for me" She said bowing her head. After that night she was able to read people's heart and when she read her brother's and her father's heart she understood how much she meant to them. She knew how much they loved her. She really felt like slapping herself when she found this out.
"Why are you saying that daughter?" Xia Hongyi said in a bewildered voice. He couldn't understand as to why her daughter was behaving so strangely. A few days ago she was so cold and would never say something like that ever but today she was behaving completely different. Xia Hongyi could see that her daughter was absolutely serious. This made him feel really good. He always felt bad that her daughter had completely sealed her emotions and feelings.
"Father I know how you are feeling but trust me Qingyue has changed, I am no longer that cold hearted person who closes away their emotions" She said in a calm voice.
"Good Daughter I am very happy" He said as a tear rolled down her cheek. On the side Yuanba who was was listning to their conversation was also crying like a baby.
The three of them sat their silently as Qingyue looked at her father.
"Father I don't want to marry Xiao Che" She said as her face became serious. The aura around her also turned a bit colder.
Listening to this her father sighed. He knew that she was not interested in marriage but it was due to his selfish reason that she was doing it.
"But why sister Elder brother is so good and he is kind? Why can't you marry him?" Yuanba asked. He and Xiao Che were good friends and he really wanted him to be his brother in law. He didn't understand why her sister was rejecting such a nice person.
"You see when a few days ago when you brought Xiao Che I felt something missing from him. It felt like there was a hollow part in him waiting to be filled" She said narrowing her eyes.
She explained to them that three days ago when she was cultivating she saw Xiao Che entering their compound. She thought that he was probably here to meet her brother Yuanba. So she didn't thought much about it at first.
But Suddenly she remembered that she now had the power to read people's hearts so she decided to give it a try on him. And to her astonishment she found out that something in him was missing. It felt hollow. So she followed him to find out what was going on but she could still not find anything about him.
Listening to this Xia Hongyi and Yuanba kept quite deep in thoughts. They didn't know what more to say.
"But what about the promise that father made to late uncle Xiao?" Yuanba suddenly asked.
Xia Hongyi looked at his daughter without saying anything.
"*Sigh* Alright father for you I will attend this marriage but if I find something is wrong with Xiao Che I will without hesitation break the marriage and return to Frozen Cloud Asgard" She said sighing. Her father and brother smiled at her and nodded their head.
But in her mind she thought ' I am sorry father this Xiao Che is dangerous. I cannot marry him. I feel that something is going to happen on the day of the marriage'.
