Chapter 4: Chapter 4
"Oh! You are home?" asked Eun Byeol to a small boy. It is that boy who was going to steal something from her home. But now she changed him. Now he is studying at a school and stays with her as the girl live alone in a house. And now the girl and her friend are doing their college work together as they have exam within a few days.
"Yes, sister." said the boy.
"Is it that boy who you mentioned about?" asked her friend.
"Yes. He is a good boy. Now my little brother go and change. Then come here and eat. Today i make Ramen which you like most."
"Really? Thank you sis. I'll change but I have lot of homework to do. I can't eat now." said the boy. But the girl can't noticed that he was lying. He has got no homework today. There was an another reason why he lying in front of her.
"Aw! Then you do your homework and I'll feed you." said the girl. The girl was very light hearted so she can't understand any mischief of him. But her friend got this because she always suspect on everyone including her family member. She believe that everyone do something weird when they have their reason. So she noticed that when the boy was talking about homework he couldn't look into her eyes. So she interrogated him when Eun left the room to heat the food and bring it.
"Why you tell a lie to her?" asked Ji Na.
"You can't understand. And if I told you the reason you will not get that because you are still a kid."
Ji Na surprised to heard the boys word but suddenly she laughed and said, "What? I am a kid yet? Then what are you? A very big man?"
"Yes, I am. I am not a kid yet. But sis never want to admit it. And you have no doubt that I am all grown up. Right?"
"Aish! Yes yes! You are no kid. But you haven't grown up. You are just too ripped. By the way how old are you?" asked Ji Na smilingly.
"I am 13 years old" said the boy.
$No, he is 12 years old" coming into the room Eun Byeol said.
"I am 13"
"You are 12"
"If you are 13 would you become very big man? You look no different in 13 and 30?" asked Ji Na. She can't control her laugh. She could guess what the boy want to prove and why he want to prove it. But she didn't ask him anything. She was going to tell something to her friend but Eun was focusing on feed him. The boy go to washroom to change his dress but he could not change if Ji Na said something to Eun. So he somehow wash his hands and face and rushed to the room. But Ji Na said her friend, "Your little fella want to cheat on you. But you can't get that."
"How?" asked Eun.
"You'll understand soon." saying this she can't control her smile and laughed loudly.
"Why are you laughing?" asked Eun. Ji Na was going to say something but she stopped because the boy entered the room.
"OK. Not tell me I'll not mind. I have to go and get some juice for him. Do you want to have some tea?" asked Eun.
"Of course." said Ji Na.
When the girl left the room Ji Na asked the boy controlling her laugh, "So, What's your name?"
"My name is Damien. My sis named me this. Anything else that you have to ask?" The girl surprised to hear the boys answer but somehow she control herself and ask again, "So, do you want to stay here for your whole life?" "Why would I want to stay here for whole life? Don't I have my own life? Don't I have my own dream?"
"Oh! you have a dream! Can I ask what it is?" she was trying to make a harder face but she failed. The smile was on her full face.
"I'll tell you but you have to promise me that you would not tell anything to Eun sis about it."
"Okay, I'll not. Now tell me." smilingly replied Ji Na.
"I used to live in a village. The view of the village is amazing from each corner. And when I'll become a big manly man then I want to make money and I'll buy the most beautiful house of the village near the river. Then I'll live happily rest of my life with my sis."
"Wait wait wait! Don't your sister need to marry? Then what'll you do? She can't live with you then. Understand? So forget about it and focused on your study."
"Of course she have to marry. So I decided that I'll marry her. And I'll make money and I'll go outside and she'll wait for me all day then I'll come home at evening. After that she will ran to me and hug me. She will cook food for me and feed me with her own hands. We will live a happy life together."
Ji Na shocked by hearing his every words but cannot stop laughing. She was laughing so much that she cannot even say a word. After a few moments she somehow control herself and said, "Boy, You truly have a nice dream." saying this she kept laughing.
"Here's your juice and here's your tea" coming into the room Eun said. At the time she noticed Ji Na laughing and ask "What happened? Why you are laughing from then?" Ji Na was going to tell something but she looked at the boy and noticed that the boy was pointing to her with his eyes and tried to stopped her before she says something. So she stopped and said, "Nothing."
"Nothing? Then you are laughing at nothing? Are you really going to be a crazy?" asked Eun surprisingly.
"Maybe I am crazy, But here's one more person who is a crazier than me." saying this Ji Na laughed loudly and kept laughing.
"Ah! I can't understand. And I'll not really get it. Laugh how much you want." saying this she focused to feed the boy. And the boy acted like he got so many work to do and opened his book to show her how much he is attentive with his study. "You will understand one day. But It's not today. Now I have to leave. I have a schedule of my own." Her face was still smiling. She could barely control her laugh. While drinking tea she remember something and asked "Hey Euna! Did teacher tell anything about our exam? When would it held?"
"I dont know. But it will held soon."
"Okay I am leaving. Have a great day." she said to her friend but she meant it to the boy. Then she take her bag and left the room but she can't still stop laughing. She thought today is a great day. And she almost forget about SBS for the little boy. She take a little breathe and walk to her home.
She think about her friend Why the boys like her? Even a little kid like her so much that he wants to marry her after he grown up. She is not that special, And also she is not that beautiful like her, she is very creepy and she don't like to talk very much. She is very moody, she is old fashioned and so the college girls called her auntie. But why she is lovely to boys when she hated the boys so much? Ji Na could not understand the matter at any cost.
Ji Na also thought that her friend Eun Byeol is the class topper and she always dig in to some books, specially story, cooking and novel books. How she could always read books? asked she to herself.
At that time she felt very sad to remember one thing and take a big breathe. The matter was it, She has a crush on a boy in her college. They are at same class. The boy named Kang Ji Hyung is the most handsome face in the college. Every girls like him very much. He was very kind to others and always help people who need helps. So he is very popular on their class too. He was very charming person and his charm attracts everyone's heart. But Eun doesn't feel anything for him. But the boy likes her very much. And as Ji Na is her bosom friend he talks with her sometimes. But whenever he comes to talk to her Ji Na's heart pounding like someone hit her heart with a hammer continuously. So she felt jealous on Eun sometimes.
When she was thinking these, she doesn't noticed anything surrounding her. Suddenly a private car coming in front of her with speed the man who was driving the car start to playing the horn loudly. She now noticed the car and get afraid. It was too close to her that she can't move a single step.
