This allowed him to get the result he desperately wanted to achieve.

The Berserker was caught off guard by the turn of events and decided to defend, a first in the fight. The move also made it less aware of its surroundings, something it deeply hated.

Its annoyance kept increasing, unable to figure out how this tiny human possessed such strength.

Derrick was investing everything he had in this short outburst. He only needed a few more seconds, and Io would give him a winning opportunity.
