"Or at least that's what I was called when I was young…and what my boyfriend called me before he cheated on me…urgh," the women continued to mumble before she deflated like a balloon and sank down on the edge, one hand over her mouth the other draped over the ladder rail like an armrest.

One Shot mustered her as an internal assessment of the situation was formed; she was probably in her early thirties, and despite it being a Friday night, she was still in office clothes, making it likely that she had just come from a company dinner – and had gone drinking even more afterward. Her hair was tied back into a bun, secured with what looked like pens, but over time, the hair had clearly won over the constraints and now, the night winds were whipping wild strands of her around her head at will. While her glasses sat crooked across her nose bridge, what was missing was a purse or bag of some kind. And shoes. In any case, she wasn't a threat, so One Shot enabled the safety on his gun, still hidden behind his back.

The obvious conclusion was that she was drunk to the point where she had not even realized that she lost her purse and shoes somewhere along the way which led her here. However, all this didn't explain one thing.

"What brings you here?"

A low chuckle burst out from the hunched over women.

"He! I'm a mission!" She snapped her head up and the glint of crazy in her eyes made One Shot flinch. "I'm here to catch the moon!" Without any warning, she threw her hands up in the air as if to reach for the stars.

"Wait! That's dangerous – !" One Shot yelled out, aware of the danger as she let go of the ladder rail.

"I am gonna get cha! Huh? Why are there two moons?" In her mind, she thought to have only tilted her head in confusion, but the tiny movement was enough to tip her weight over the edge - and the next moment has to be described in slow motion to understand what happened.

As soon as her hands had left the ladder, One Shot set into a motion a sprint that would ignite envy in athletes. With a flick, he tossed the gun aside and it slid over the wet ground until it came to a stop just beside the air vent. His feet were digging into the ground as they propelled his body forward towards the edge. A gust of wind tore his cap off. Should he miss the right time to pull her back, her weight would pull him along and they would both fall to their deaths. This was not going according to plan.

Angel was admiring the sight before her. A wide-open night sky. Dark clouds were covering most of the sight, but enough gaps allowed for stars to sparkle through and the moon was just as beautiful as ever. Purer than anything else in this messed up world. She sniffed and stretched out even further and her hand covered up the moon. A wave of sadness washed over her as her hand closed around an empty nothingness. And then gravity pulled her further away from her unreachable goal. And she turned her head around.

Nothing but darkness. The walls formed a gaping vast mouth, opening as if to swallow her whole. Hot, burning fear flared up in her stomach and cut through her cloudy mind. She turned away from the scary sight back towards the moon and saw her hands still outreached, but now joined by her legs dangling across the night sky. Then, another hand shot out of nowhere and grabbed her wrist.
