Chapter 337: Ch 328: Ancient Fire dragon meets Nox
"How dare he!" Harriet says
Harriet suddenly responded with a Roar to the absolute shock of everyone there.
The dragon roars back seeming confused.
Before he once again roars angrily as fire can be seen forming in his mouth.
Harriet also seeming angry.
Harriet whistles.
"Can all of you do that?" Rory asks in very rudimentary Japanese.
"No."
"Definitely not." Huston says
"Somewhat I used to have a pet iguana." James says as a joke which gets a few laughs.
Luna gets ready to cast a shielding charm over the civilians.
"I'm going to kill that asshole." Harriet says
"What did he say?" Luna asks
Harriet seems to shudder before giving the dragon a stare that a basilisk would have trouble matching.
Suddenly the dragon gets spooked launching its fire ball directly at Harriet before it is intercepted by a small bolt of bright blue plasma completely erasing the fireball and dispersing itself.
There is a Yelp like roar as Nox Harriets night fury flys in and roars at the ancient dragon.
Nox turns to Harriet and roars slightly.
"You sure?" Harriet asks the dragon who nods in response.
"Okay then." Harriet says as the night fury launches itself at the ancient dragon forming a Mach come in front of it.
"What the hell is that dragon?" Rory asks shocked
Itami is frantically flipping through his phrase book.
"You'll get used to it." Itami says
"Luna! Shield!" Harriet shouts
"Nox is basically explosion proof since she's my familiar!" Harriet shouts to the people in the hummers.
Itami understands what she means.
"Huston set up that mortar!" Itami shouts back towards the second truck as they start to set down mortar shells and Itami gets the case holding the RPG.
The Ancient dragon is being played with by Nox.
Once the mortar is set up "Now!" Harriet shouts as Nox body slams the dragon into the ground where faces 20 round of freedom a minute. Of course only 3 rounds are off since ammo is being conserved and they have a dragon of their own.
The ancient dragon gets up pissed it's wing webs are torn and it's scales are cracked and falling off.
Itami takes the time to aim and checks the back before firing off his rocket propelled grenade.
After that final explosion an amazed Rory giggles who Harriet can feel is staring at Itami.
The dragon let's off one last roar in which Nox responds with a rather angry one before shooting plasma like lightning at the ancient dragon as it flys away. Limping into the air slowly with the help of magic.
"Freaking pervert." Harriet mutters.
"Did you just call a dragon a pervert?" Itami asks dumbfounded
"It wanted to mate with Nox." Harriet says
"Yep, killing it next time we see it." Luna says
"Nox?" Rory asks
Nox eventually lands next to Harriet and starts rubbing against her like a dog that wants to be pet.
"Good girl." Harriet says rubbing the dragon where it likes to be rubbed.
"This is Nox, one of my 3 familiars." Harriet says
"What kind of magic was that what breed of dragon is that and what's a familiar?" Lelei asks
"That's some old magic." Cato the older sage says.
"If you wanna talk about magic, do you know transfiguration?" Luna asks
"I don't see the credibility behind that theoretical magic." Cato says
Luna in response taps the staff on the ground and it turns from grass and dirt into silver.
"It's gonna stay like that till it runs out of magical power." Harriet says
"I didn't put much in." Luna says as the grass turns back to normal to the amazement of everyone.
"That's magic?" Lelei asks
"Technically it's wizardry and not pure magic." Harriet says
"Right, it's a lot of painful math." Luna says
"I honestly prefer the arcane magic." Harriet says before suddenly giving Luna a double take.
"Can you stop getting talller?" Harriet asks
"But I like having you sit on my lap. In school it was usually the other way around." Luna says with a teasing smile.
