Chapter 3: 03 Nice to see you again!
Aurelian just looked at her with a smile which made Valeria keep quiet before rushing over to Aurelian but she as too far.
Aurelian looked at everyone around him, they were shocked to see the bow act like this. This bow was made by the First Elf King, who used the destiny tree's wood and carved out a bow.
Yet the dangerous repercussions were not unheard of. And currently his magic power was low, using this would mean ending his life. But if he didn't use it then the many people whom he need to take care of will get hurt.
With determination he prepared to hit the main man in the middle, Caleb to dead.
Just as he was about to shot, a blue light sparked in the air, blinding the whole room.
Soon enough everyone heard the laughter of a woman and her speaking, "Oh My! After eight years of rest I feel that I need to stretch my muscles! Sorry about the light I couldn't really control my new powers yet."
Recovering their sense, everyone was shocked to see who appeared. Wearing a dark blue robe with slits in both side of her legs exposing the pale white colour up until her mid thighs. Having that signature hat matching the same colour of her robe. Sliver hair the flowed down to her waist.
If they didn't know who she was then they be stupid! There was only one kind of person who could have this type of silver hair.
Witch Princess, Angelica Silver!!
Caleb was suprised to see her, much less the Aurelian and Valeria who were dumbfounded by her appearance.
Angelica stretches her muscles just as she said and looked at the crowd who was dumbfounded. "What? Is it your first time seeing me? Then let me introduce myself!"
"I'm your friendly witch, Angelica Silver!!" She said and gave her signature smile and bowed.
Valeria looked at her friends and didn't know if she should laugh or cry at her statement. Friendly? People should think twice before, calling her friendly.
Angelica looked around and found her two friends, whistling she told them, "Aurelian you idiot! Put down the damn bow, can't you see their trap?"
Being called out too, Aurelian frowned at her and asked, "Did you just call me an idiot? Also what trap?"
Rolling her eyes at him, "Look down you fool" and so he did and was stunned to see the circle underneath him. It was a reverse circle that would reflect magic back if casted in it.
"I can't believe the bow recognized you as their master! Seriously how can you miss this with your magic power." She causally said.
Aurelian for some reason felt that an invisible arrow hit him, when he heard that. Just as he was gonna retort her, when someone came and attacked Angelica who was unarmed.
Caleb shot an arrow at Angelica, who was leisurely standing against her staff.
From the corner of eyes she already saw him make his move and with the snap of her fingers she and her two friends were currently floating in air.
The arrow missed and she gently place the two of them back down.
Caleb on the other hand scowled at them and it made him more furious when he saw Angelica causally yawning while sitting on her staff.
"God damn witch! Why are you even awake?! I made sure the library was sealed off!!" Caleb angrily shout at her and all she gave was a smile.
"Ha! You think that spell would keep me in! Nu, nu, nu! Someone opened the door for me! Ah!! It was such a surprise!!" Angelica teasingly said.
"Who?!!" It made him go crazy!! He was certain that the library was sealed and the only way to open it was from the outside...
Widening his eyes at her, he saw her grin like a moron. This woman!!
"Oh my!! My cute god children did!!" And it made both Caleb and her friends suprised.
Valeria who was worried about her children instantly felt relief. She was scared for her life if anything happened to her children she would make sure the men who did it end up in the mouth of a Wyvern!!
Aurelian has the same thoughts in mind, like his wife. Turning to Angelica, "Angelica, are they safe? Can you send us to them?"
"Yup! Their fine! I'll send you guys after I deal with your mess that you could have easily fixed." Angelica threw another invisible arrow at Aurelian.
This witch really like point out his faults. Aurelian felt that he should really straighten out this mouth of hers!!
Caleb looked at the situation with a frown. Right now they were at a disadvantage since Angelica popped up from god knows where. He looked at the witch leisurely checking her nails, he thought he might as well bring out something that would hurt this witch once and for all.
After all he had planned to kill her while she was asleep now this would just speed up the process if he succeeded.
Angelica looked at the group of 20 to 30 people and sighed, "Aurelian how on earth did you make so many enemies? Your communication skills suck! You still didn't learn to make friends properly yet."
The Aurelian felt so many arrows stab him that he was close to spitting out blood! "Angelica!! For real, what are you attacking me?!!" He felt some sort of injustice!
Valeria sighed and from some reason she couldn't help but agree with Angelica's words. "Aurelian! Shut up and focus!!" And snarled at him, while hitting one of the attackers with her sword.
Aurelian who was a king, coward to his wife's words and indignantly followed her words using his dagger and cutting the person in front of him.
Angelica snickered at his face! It's been awhile and the feeling of messing with Aurelian never gets old! Maybe she should recorded it in her all memory glass to blackmail him later on!
"Ok! Show times over! Winds that comes and go, bring up those who I dislike!" Clapping her hands, all of a sudden a tornado of winds popped up surprising the attacker and swept them in the current.
Caleb looked at how half or if not more of his men got caught of in the tornado. Gritting his teeth, he grab his bow and aimed it at Angelica.
Angelica only raised her brows at him and smirk. What exactly is this guy up too? He knows that he can't hit me.
Caleb also smiled back at her but let go of the arrow releasing it to the nearest person next to Angelica.
Aurelian had his back against, the unknown attack towards his. Currently, flying gave them the advantage of hit them but also lowered their guard as they focus on the attack.
Angelica had already casted another spell thinking it would hit her but, seeing that Caleb changed the trajectory to someone else surprised her and she wasted her spell. Looking at where the arrow was going, made her rush to stop it.
Hit! The arrow successfully pierced through her left shoulder. Making her lose her magic around herself and fall to the ground.
Caleb eyes gleamed at the attack and watch as how Angelica fell from the high down to the floor. The arrow he shot at her was laced with Red Queen poison. When it hit the blood stream it would cause nonstop bleeding until the person dies out. It would be an instant kill!
He needed to thank that man for this otherwise...
Caleb looked down to see the fallen witch and approached her in glee.
