Chapter 17: 002 The Souls starts to Remember
I made two picture books in respect to the memories I have gathered.
One telling my life with Claire Farron in the world of Final Fantasy through paintings and small descriptions. The name of the book was called The Life of Fantasy.
The other book was on my life with Artoria and Morgana. It had the events about the bastard Merlin and his underhanded tricks. The book was called Life in Camelot.
Of course these books weren't published but anyway I had left in my library for anytime I wanted to read it.
Right now I am busy trying to figure out, am I really in the same reality as my soul fragment. Am I really in the Nasuverse and if so what had happened to Morgana and Authoria I began to wonder. Anyways now I am part of the top wealthy people according to the wealth the Arima Family has, I will make sure to find the answers I am looking for.
Charlotte Hazelrink P.O.V.
I had borrowed a book from Hoshi that he wrote called Life in Camelot. It was a very good story, him using the people from the famous painting of the Maidens of Camelot and writing a story to tell their life was interesting. I don't know but for some reason I felt a bit jealous after reading the book but also sad about the ending.
I had exchanged the book with another one he wrote that Sylvia had borrowed called The Life of Fantasy. After reading that book I felt somewhat strange. I kept having dreams about me living in that world as Claire Farron and even about things that were not mentioned in the book like what came afterwards. I don't know why but I felt like I have a strong connection with Claire.
Sylvia von Hossen P.O.V.
I had borrowed the book The Life of Fantasy from Hoshi. It was an interesting book but for some reason I felt drawn to the other book Life in Camelot. That is why I was relieved when Charlotte had asked do we want to exchange the book after we were done reading.
After we exchanged the books I was surprised to see he was telling a story with the Maidens of Camelot in it. One of the maidens I had felt I had a close was given the name Artoria to which it was befitting. I had saw the portrait of her in a museum once and foundit captivating on how the artist almost brought her to life in that painting. Hoshi did the same in both of the books.
Soon something strange kept happening. I was having dreams that I was living the life of Artoria. Her life from the beginning to the end, before and after she had met her love interest. I also felt her regret and her hatred towards the wizard / mage that I felt like naming Merlin. He had manipulated her perception and sealed her memories of her love interest so she could become the perfect King. Later on when her half sister Morgana had helped her to break the restrictions of Merlin's magic he had orchestrated her death. But these dreams do not seem like dreams at all but something more.
M. C. POV
I have finally done it. I had found out what type of world I am in. It seemed like I was in the same world as my soul fragment that created the beacon, The Nasuverse but it has elements of other things as well. It's hard to imagine that this world has many different views on if it is a safe world or a dangerous one depending on which groups you associate with.
Associations such as the Clock Tower, The Church and many more in the supernatural world always try to keep the general public unaware of the supernatural. Anyways after extensive digging I finally found out what happened to Morgana.
It seems that she was able to kill the bastard and half demon Merlin one hundred years ago and have been working on finishing the project we've been working on. She had hidden the beacon array in Japan and sacrificed herself and soul to make sure it fulfilled its purpose. That was all I found in her diary. If my estimation is correct that she should be able to be summoned as a servant.
This also brings up on what happened with Artoria. Even though a copy of her is in the Throne of Heros, her soul has reincarnated with the help of Morgana.
The journey of discovering those details out had caused me to regain the qualification of a Magi. I don't have access to Heaven Feel, but I do have the capacity of a trillion times of Mana and Prana of a Magi with EX rank on capacity. Even with my natural energy generator it will take time to fill it to the max.
Also there is something strange that I noticed about Charlotte and Sylvia. They seemed so familiar for some reason from the moment I met them.
