Chapter 2: Going To The Bar
At Novaliches Elementary school
Nicolas got to the school and parked his bike at the entrance of the school. He removed his helmet and carried his son from the bike. He held his hand and led him to his class.
"Anak, be a good boy, okay"
"yes, tay"
His father rubbed his hair and told him to go to his class. He waved at his son and left.
Halfway.....
Nicolas phone rang. He removed it from his chest pocket and picked it. The phone was connected.
"Hello"
"Where are you now"
"I just dropped my son at his school.....Any problem" he asked
"None.....I was just thinking if we can meet later at night"
"Where?"he asked
"At 77 resturant and bar"
"Okay, I will be there"
"I knew it. you won't turn me down"
Smiling, "Okay, see you later"
"Okay, bok"
The called ended.Then, he deep his phone back into his pocket and drove away.

At blue bridge A, Quezon City.
Miguel walked into the dining room and sat on the chair. He wore a blue jean with black suit.
Miguel is a friend to Nicolas and Dino. He is a business man and he is know as the third richest man in the Philippines.
He has so many properties at Binondo, Caloocan City, Cebu and so on. He has the biggest house at blue bridge A. The house is big with clean white walls.
The walls and ceiling were covered with mirrors, a high-tech bordello. The front door that could accommodate a family of giraffes.
"Yes, Mr Chang, the product will be delivered to you later this night.... yes yes....actually....am very sorry.....i won't be able to make it this night. I have something important to attend to... okay bye"
"Was that a business partner?" A beautiful woman asked dressed in blue short gown showing her white glowing skin.
Her oval face with pink lips and brown long hair makes her adorable. She is Miguel's wife,Camia.
"Yes, the product will be delivered to him this night" he placed a white napkin on his laps.
"Will you be there? "
"No, I will be with Nicolas and Dino" he placed sinigang on his plate and began to eat.
There were lots of dishes of the table: maja Blanca, leche flan, dinuguan at puto,lumpia,pancit, Chicken adobo,sinigang,arroz caldo,creamy Alfredo sauce with succulent shrimp sauteed in garlic and butter .
"Okay"
"Where is Karen?" he asked.
"Karen, it's time for breakfast. Please,come down stairs"
"I am coming mom" A six years old girl walked down the stairs wearing a white shirt with short black tye and a navy-blue long pinafore.
She sat down and served herself with creamy Alfredo sauce with succulent shrimp sauteed in garlic and butter.
Ten minutes after
Miguel wiped his mouth with a napkin and stood up to leave for work. Karen stood up from her chair and ran after her dad.
"Dad, are you leaving already? I thought you were going to take me to school? she asked holding his hand.
He sat on a chair and drew her closer to him.
"Oh baby girl, I am so sorry but I can't take you to school today. The driver will take you to school...you know what.....i will make it up to you,Okay"
"Okay dad" she hugged him tightly not wanting to let go of him.
"Anak, I have to go now" he kissed her hair.
"Camia, don't stress yourself to much at work"
"Okay I won't"
He kissed her and left the house. Camia called the nanny to get Karen's bags. She led her to the car and then the driver stepped on the gas pedal and drove towards Karen's school.

At cadbury supermarket
Later in the afternoon, a white truck was parked In front of cadbury supermarket where the coconut juice will be delivered.Nicolas got down from the truck to help them get the product into the supermarket.
"Okay....take them inside. I will go see the manager"
On his way to the manager's office, he saw him coming out. The manager is of average height. He is chubby and not that good looking. He put on a black suit pant and a black jacket....
"Nicolas,Good afternoon"
"Good afternoon sir"they shook hands.
"The product just arrived,sir"
"Okay, follow me. That's where you should put the product" he pointed at the shelf painted in white right in front of them.
"Okay guys, you should put the product here"
Some men in white shirt and black pant with some putting a white napkin over there neck brought in the bottled juice and arranged them on the shelf.
"Our company has decided to give you twenty percent discount, sir" he turned to face him.
Smiling, "I knew I won't regret doing business with you guys"
"Of course sir"they shook hands again.
"Cindy, take them to the store so they can keep the extra product"
"Okay sir" A young beautiful lady putting on a white shirt with black pant came out from of the department. She is about twenty three or so. She kept her face frozen at Nicolas.
"Cindy, what are you waiting for? Lead them to the store"
"Yes sir"
She directed those men to the store and came back after.
"Elvira, Elvira, come and see this guy. O my God, he is so handsome"
Elvira came out of her department to see who Cindy was talking about.
"Look at him" Cindy said pointing her finger at him.
"He is so handsome, isn't he?"she asked, placing her palms on her pink cheeks.
Elvira smiled when she saw her husband.
"Why are you smiling? Do you find him handsome? Cindy asked.
"Yes, he is handsome. I will be back soon"
"Okay"
"Want a bottle of water, sir"
Nicolas turned back to see who was talking. A smile flitted across his face.
"Oh.....thank you ma'am"
He collected the bottled water from her and drank it. Cindy was surprised when she saw what happened.
"What's with that act? Is she trying to win him over,huh? Let me go to them"
"Elvira, what are you doing here? Are you not supposed to be in your department? "
"I'm coming, just give me few minutes"
"You won't want the boss to catch you here firlting" still determined.
Elvira turned to Nicolas, "Mahal, have you eaten lunch" she placed her palm on his face.
"No, not yet" he answered
"Ma....mahal" flabbergasted
"Yes, he is my husband"
"Hus.....what" she shouted
"Keep your voice down. Yes, he is my husband. Nicolas meet Cindy, Cindy meet Nicolas.
"Hi cindy"
Cindy's eyes flicked from face to face.
"Nice to meet you, Nicolas "
She turned to Elvira,"But you never told me that he is your husband.And I was already falling in love" she murmured
"What did you say?"
"Ah.....nothing. I will just go back to work"she smiled awkwardly and left.
"I forgot to tell you this, you will have to pick our son from school"
"Why? "
"I will be going out with Miguel and Dino tonight"
"Okay, no problem. Going back to work now"
"Okay"he gave her a hug and left
....
Later at night....
At 77 bar and restaurant.
The atmosphere so laid back, the high beaming ceiling and eclectic decor worked wonders for the ambiance.
They walked into the resturant and sat on a chair with a dark walnut tables. The waiter came with a menu.
"Just a glass of house white for now, thank you"Miguel said.
The waiter came returned with the wine....
"It wa stressful today, many cases were brought to us at the station"Dino broke the silence.
"That is the duty of the police, to arrest criminals, protect the citizens and investigate cases, isn't it, Nicolas"
"Yes, we should always pray to God for protection"
"That's why Dino, you need to get a wife to take care of you" he sipped his drink.
"I don't have time for that now"
"I am telling you the truth. Dino you need a wife like Nicolas and I because we know that after work, we will get a massage from our wives, isn't it Nicolas" he chuckled and pats Dino's back.
"You guys should stop talking nonsense" he said angrily
Laughing, "Why are you angry Dino?Don't be mad at us"
The fun went on as they continue to tease Dino
