Chapter 10: Gathering
"Thank you guys for helping me escape I'll go to my village now." Silvia said. Hilaria and Ashurs smile fell, they look disappointed for how Silvia responded to them. "No will we go with you...just in case we really don't want anything to happen to you" Ashur spoke out. Silvia looked uncomfortable but she knew they will still keep pushing for her to let them go with her. "Alright let's go it's not that far from here." Silvia smiled. After walking for 20 minutes they finally reached to Silvias cottage.
She was about to open the door but the door was already opened by someone else. "SILVIA! We were so worried for you! Why did you let go of my arm? Don't do that again you almost gave me a heart attack!" Valerian yelled out.He may be mad at Silvia for letting go of his arm but he is very happy that's she's okay. Vivian and her mother walked outside with a face covered in tears.
"Silvia.. you scared me!" Silvias mom said. "I'm sorry mother I was only doing this so Valerian and Vivian could escape at least I got home safely!" After reuniting with her family Valerian looked up and had a unusual angry expression. "Silvia mind if you tell me who these people are?" Silvia looked confused at first then said "Oh!" These people were sent by the emperor to get me out of the prison they are my friends now."
Silvia said that as she put a smile on her face. A three of them were confused there were many questions unanswered. Valerian was about to open his mouth then felt fain drops from the sky. Little rain drops turned into pouring rain and a thunderstorm came. "Oh my! Let's get back inside come Silvias new friends you can stay here for the night."
Silvias mom said. All five came inside the small cottage. "You guys haven't eaten yet have you? I'll make something right now please sit at the dinner table." Silvias mom said with delight. Silvias mom Aria loved cooking. She was pronounced as the best cook in the village she'd even make up excuses to just cook as she likes.
And nonetheless her food was delicious to taste. All the kids sat at the table and an awkward silence breaker out. Vivian started off the conversation by saying.."Are they bodyguards of Silvia twins?" Hilaria and Ashur were embarrassed by this. But they both gave a nod to Vivians direction. Valerian kept staring at Ashur angrily.
"Did you do anything to my Silvia?!" Ashur and Hilaria looked at each other in shock. "Oh I'm sorry I didn't Silvia had a caring boyfriend but no we didn't do anything don't worry. Silvia made a angry face and blushed at the same time. She banged the table and said "No we are not boyfriend and girlfriend we've known each other since we were 9 we are just close friends. Everyone at the table was surprised by how Silvia responded.
Valerian gave out a chuckle. "You don't need to be so worked up about it Silvia. Aria came in the kitchen with delicious smelling food. They all sat at the table. "Beginning eating you guys must have been starving."
Aria insisted. Silvia filled her mouth full with bread and soup. Oh mother I was meaning to ask you. " I saw the emperor today." Silvia questioned. As soon as Silvia finished her sentence. Aria dropped the spoon making a "clank!" Sound and her face filled with horror. "Ms. Aria?" Valerian called out. Both Hilaria and Ashur had the same horror on there face.
