Chapter 3: doubt

When he arrived at the Pavilion of the Great Clarity, he could not help but marvel at the architecture. This was the most luxurious dining establishment in Sky fortune city. This place had a large influx of consumers and a powerful backing, it was in simple words a place not to be underestimated.

When I walked in, those who saw me had confused looks. Well, it was understandable, since the clothes I had on at the time were quite common. Although that was not a matter that affected him. What was important in this place was not the monetary gain but the magic cube that was hidden in the pangolin.

As in the novel, a waiter approached him and asked if he was coming with someone, to which with a little more self-control he simply responded with "I'm looking for a job" causing an uncomfortable situation. That was crystal clear, lin ming outwardly did not possess the characteristics that the Great Clarity Pavilion sought for its employees; it was not attractive or a beauty.

After a brief discussion with an attractive woman and a waiter named Dong zi, he managed to get inside. His boning skills were quite good, helping him in the recruitment process. At first, I thought I would have a hard time getting in as the original, but apparently in addition to memories he also gained his muscle memory.

By quietly boning he reached his goal, it might seem quite easy and anticlimactic, there was no lack of reason for that. If the specific conditions did not move in this way perhaps he would not be like the previous lin ming and another one would have been the one who managed to have the fortune of his life.

As he looked closely at the divine element, he could see its black coloured inscriptions and its grey colour; quite strange indeed...

At the end of this day, he stayed in the room that was left for him as an employee. Looking curiously at the cube above his bed, he did not decide to join it yet. Mo eversnow would be watching at that time and did not want to have someone discover his secrets.

Leaving the bucket under his bed, he fell asleep easily. The next thing he saw was not a sunny day, but the wheel itself. There was something different this time, the wheel no longer sent him back in time after he turned it. When he touched it, all that appeared was a door with a golden glow inside. Looking behind it and... it was empty.

Confused and a little afraid, I could only enter because I didn't know how to get out of this place without time travel. When I passed through the door the view that greeted him was the room of undoing? why? looking at everything with curiosity, I tried to leave the place but when I opened the door of the room only an infinite void of whiteness could be seen from the horizon.

Returning to the room, he began to count the breaths and when he saw that an hour passed without any change he gave up, hoping for the best. He began to practice but a strange situation appeared before him...couldn't he absorb the primary energies? That discouraged him even more and he could only practice something that the same place gave him and he performed hundreds of times for the family restaurant, which actually did not belong to his parents, but to the lin clan of green mulberry city.

When he began to lose consciousness of how much had happened, he began to remember the information in the novel and collect it. Ranking from the most important and useful to what could be ignored. Without him noticing, the door appeared. Happy and somewhat relieved, he rushed in. As he came out of the infinite whiteness, he realized that not even a minute had passed.

Without understanding the situation, he decided to calm his emotions and do some manual work, undoing some ferocious beasts; in order to train and relax. But before leaving the room he realized that an overwhelming fatigue was consuming him.

"I'd better get some rest otherwise..."

Upon arriving in the room after a few hours of rest, he understood an incredible truth. Did his knife skills improve? But apparently not by a negligible amount... that room is quite useful. If I use it for martial arts skills... it won't work *sigh*. There are no primal energies in that place, but I could try...

Looking at his movements, it seemed like he would do it for an incalculable amount of time. Those basic movements showed a naturalness and precision, which for the type of instrument on which they were performed seemed to be incongruous.

"Now this is incredible. I wonder how long it lasts in that place?"

On reflection and somewhat calm, he went to sleep. Even in trouble over something specific, how could I avoid the constant observation of mo eversnow... if I don't use the cube, I won't be able to get the combat meridians of chaotic virtues and therefore won't achieve many of its objectives.

"I'd better get some rest and maybe I can make it somehow"
