Chapter 1: Shipwreck

My name is Annie and I'm on a small ship headed for England. After my husband passed away a year ago to a work related accident I saved up the money to start over and here I am doing just that. I'm in my room down below eating a salad when all of a sudden the ship started to jerk around causing me to fall out of my chair. I got up and made my way out of my room and towards deck. when I went out I saw a bad storm and last thing I remember was a man tell the captain that we were way off course and then I went overboard and blacked out.
