Chapter 137: Tower (3)
#IN fight: Katherine, Donna, Dick, Bruce, Wally, Cyborg, Roy, and Jessica#
*BOOM! *
Katherine's left fist crashed into a magically enhanced titanium door. * BOOM! * As her right fist came down a horde of brain's crab bots came crashing in towards her back. * BOOM! * Jessica used her lantern ring to create a spiked wall.
* BOOM! *
The door's hinges buckle, as Roy fired an explosive arrow into the horde of brain's crab bots, he glanced at Katherine's face. "Katherine?"
* BOOM! *
"Katherine!?" Yelled Roy as another fist crashed into the door. Disregarding Roy, Katherine took a moment to study the door's integrity before calling her Royal wonder towards her.
Wally and the others watched as the charge ax cleaved thru the far-end walls. And cleaved through Brain's bots. Its glistening golden stars highlighted the silver blades attached to the sheath shield, while its royal red paint sparkled against the navy-blue center.
On the face of the shield was the iconic golden Amazonian A paired above two looping triangles, that came together to form her version of the Valhallen logo. As the charge ax neared Katherine, it cleaved through Jessica's wall while coming within inches of Dicks neck.
The blade continued on before coming to hard stop inches from Katherine's head. Her upper body turned as she gripped its handle and bent her left knee, the ax's head rested on her now glowing shoulder.
Cyborg released a massive emp shutting down Brains bots, while he and Dick moved to Katherine's back right. Roy stood alongside Bruce on her back left with three arrows cocked and his bow ready to fire, Bruce took a few batarangs.
Just as Jessica took her position in between the four boys, Donna raised her silver-colored shield and took her place at Katherine's near right.
Katherine's body distorted space while she released some of her starlight-purple energy and channeled it through her ax. Wally moved towards her left, his body oozed pure white speed-force lightning while he bent his knees and took a spiriting stance.
On the other side of the doors, Lokee gathered Bane, Cheshire, Talia, Mallah, Gotham girl, and Brain's recently built cyborg prisoners (cp for short). These cyborg prisoners were men genetically superior men and women, who had been modified and empowered with Brain's best tech and a liquified version of Lokee's super drug.
Opposite to these depressed and enslaved men and women, Bane had geared up for the perusing fight by replacing his regular venom with a heavily modified version of Lokee's drug.
But the biggest change was Gotham girl; Claire had replaced her old purple and black spandex with an all-black of the same design.
As for Katherine. She lifted the glowing ax off her shoulder, then twisted the handle causing its blades to spin with enough enhanced power to completely distort space/time. When Katherine swung the blade downwards towards the door, the weapon's energy rusted the surrounding metal on its to the door.
*SCREEEEEEEE!!!! BOOOM!!!*
The magically enhanced titanium doors were shredded to bits as Katherine sent them kerning straight into Lokee's face a long ark of the ax's distorted space/time followed closely behind. Gotham girl stepped forward, but just as she planted her foot in front of the wolfed out Lokee...
Wally's right fist appeared below Gotham girl's chin! the ax's warped space/time energy wrapped around his speed force cloaked fist as Wally!
*KRACKATOOOM! *
Wally sent Gotham girl careening up into Lokee's chin and thru the multi-layered warehouse. His fist cracked upon making contact with Gotham's chin. Bane flashed in front of him with a massive right fist bearing down on his skull.
*BANG!!*
Katherine slapped the face of her charge ax into Bane's head, he hit the floor with a loud thud and a deep imprint of her logo on his mask.
Wally rejoined the group as Katherine twisted the handle once more, undoing her weapon transformation and leaving her shield on Bane's face.
2...3...4...8
The more Bane tried to lift, the heavier the shield got. Try as he might, he couldn't lift an inch. Katherine scoffed turning her attention to Lokee and Gotham who were still sailing in thru the air. Their bodies had been locked in temporal stasis; however, as they flipped thru the air their eyes never left Katherine's face.
the energy around them rapidly faded as Katherine bent her knees and called her shield to her left hand, saving Bane's life. As she drew her sword out of the shield, Katherine let out a burst of energy displacing the location of room everyone in the room.
Talia, Cheshire, and Bane found themselves on one half the lab surrounded by Bruce, Dick, Roy, and Wally. While Cyborg, Jessica, and Donna prepared to engage Brain's supered up cyborg prisoners.
Up above warehouse, Gotham girl broke free from her temporal lock and was seconds from Katherine's face. Katherine shot into the air at high speeds, her face came within inches of Gotham's fist. But just as the fist was about to make contact...Katherine was gone.
*KRACKATOOOM! *
Gotham looked up, to see Katherine ramming her shield straight into Lokee's face. Her body glowed fiercely as the two went careening through an apartment building and straight into an empty park. "What'd you say about my family!?"
Katherine's starry blue eyes glowed with a fierce purple light. Lokee finally free from his stasis let out a deep distorted laugh before whispering "I devoured them body and soul. And soon I shall you and your remaining elk."
Katherine's pupils dilated, while Lokee's voice echoed across Cyborg's communication. Halfway across the earth, Geralt lost control of his power as Brain continued bombarding him with the cosmic storm. And his raw cosmic energy threatened to spill out and reduce the surrounding city to ash.
Taking a breath Geralt suppressed his power before telling Katherine. "Ask him why he killed the kids."
Katherine's breathing turned ragged as she slowly repeated his question for Lokee to hear "Why...did you---kill those kids?"
Back in Brain's lab, the fighting came to a hard stop as Brain played their audio over his main speakers.
Lokee let out a disgustingly hollow laugh as his muscle distorted and his sanity began to fade. A thick heavy accent replaced his old calming voice, as he used the last of his sanity to speak in a long-drawn-out foreign tongue.
"I KiLLEd THe aDulTs tO ReBuilD My BoDy...BuT ThOsE KiDs...ThOSe KiDs DiEd FoR Fun!! In FaCt ThEy ShOulD Be GrAteFuL to DiE By ThE god of TRicKs hAnDs. BuT WoRRy NoT! FoR SoOn YoU WiLl FolLOw GIrL!!! ROAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA!"

Geralt was in the process of completely suppressing Brain's attack. When he heard Lokee's jovial laugh. A wave of his silvery-white and black-hued energy burst out from his body snuffing out the storm, and burning the surrounding oxygen to its core.
For a brief moment, an aurora shinned brightly across the eastern Asian sky, before burning up in a bright plasma flame. Geralt moved his eyes towards Lokee and Gotham, who had begun their assault on Katherine.
Local satellites locked on to the ongoing phenomenon. Military companies and governments gasped in shock at the display of raw power, ocean water rose from the surrounding area.
Lokee and Claire (Gotham girl) were locked in combat with Katherine when both parties came to a complete halt. The tree's around the now destroyed park shattered under the pressure of Geralt's gravity, the soil below their feet crumpled into hardened rock.
As the grass shattered into microscopic bits, a silvery-white black-hued wormhole opened high above the three of them.
Local helicopters tried to fly within meters of the hole, however, the wormhole released a wave of distorted space teleporting them a kilometer away.
Lokee having now completely lost his mind began to take on the form a five-foot-tall Dire wolf. Katherine and Claire watched as his height quickly rose from five to twenty tall. "AWOOO!!!"
Lokee bellowed, releasing a wave of raw magical energy. The helicopters now half a kilometer close recorded a deep, deep almost foreign tongue bellow out from beyond the wormhole. "YYyyou Willl Dddiiiieee mmutt!"
