Chapter 3: Betrayal hurts the most..
Unfortunately being tortured for days, did not leave her with much energy. She fell several times biting her lip through the pain she continued. She didn't care, she had to save her baby that's all that mattered. She hobbled and dragged herself into the forest hoping to break into the Dark Forest of Illusions.
Ignoring the cackling and threats from the men chasing behind her she pulled herself deeper into the forest. Dragging herself for what felt like hours she reached the River that parted the forest and she almost jumped out of excitement. She rushed sloshing into the water, lugging her broken body.
Stupid Memory Wheel intensified her emotions.
Her joy was amplified!
Her baby was going to be safe.
She was going to survive.
She was swimming with so much enthusiasm!

Then she drowned in heartache.
...Someone grabbed her by her hair and shoved a small glass bottle in her mouth ..pulling her up by the neck. Shoving his fingers into her mouth pushing the glass vile down her throat. She choked trying to pry the hands off her biting down on his finger trying to cough the bottle up. He punched her throat shattering the glass vile within her mouth. The liquid and broken glass burned down her throat.
Pulling her up against him as he laughed. "Little Shin'er always proving she can go above and beyond everyone's expectations. Ha ha ha. Look at the disgusting state your in now. I've been waiting for this day for years. To see you in your rightful place BENEATH me. To bad you disgust me otherwise I'd probably force you beneath me like those other men did. You're nothing but a disgrace to the Spirit Crystal Kingdom and I cant wait to strip you of your glorious name and reputation." He shoved her pathetic body off him letting her fall back into the water.
She finally looked up with wide eyes in utter shock at the man before her recognizing his voice. She then immediately shoved her fingers down her throat to make herself throw up the poison. Seeing the flesh on her fingers getting torn and cut from the glass shards made the man before her laugh jubilantly.
"Its too late Little Shin'er, your bastards as good as dead ha ha along with ...." He leans back his leg now glowing in a hue of Silver spirit energy and kicks her with all his might. Her body goes flying out the water to a dirt path across the river. "Its wretched slut of a mother. Ha. Emerald Goddess...if only they can see you now."
She knew this man who belittled and berated her.
She loved this man.
This man was her husband.
This baby was his.
How can a father be so cruel.
She looked at him with hatred.
She wanted the ground to swallow him up and send him straight to hell.
"Don't look at me unless you want your eyes gouged out." He strode across the river as if he was God walking upon water. "He grabbed her face and shoved it in the dirt. "There now your as dirty as that thing growing inside you." He pulled her up by the neck and spits in her face. "Don't tell me you think I'm dumb enough to believe its mine, I didn't even F*ck you on our wedding night what makes you think I'd touch you anytime after. Even that night when you jumped in my bed when I was drunk nothing happened like you claimed Concubine Xia told me the truth of your tricks.
So your scheme ends today. You think I'd let you give birth to some other man's bastard. Even if I hate you, you belong to me. I'll never be cheated, by the likes of you." He then tosses her to the floor and walks way.
Betrayal always hurts the most when it comes from someone you love. How... Whyy.. How did I let this happen. Why must our child die, wait what does he mean we didn't consummate on our wedding night. Why doesn't he believe me about what happened that night. Damn it Xia what did you tell him. Why did our child have to suffer for our misunderstandings. Why does he hate me enough to kill our child.... no ... NO ..MY CHILD he doesn't deserve to be a father. My baby.. mommy is sorry ... mommy is so sorry I promise in our next life I will be stronger, and protect you the way a mother should. I promise.
Rai Shinah laid on the ground trying to pull herself upright but her body burned. Her throat was on fire, and her baby kept kicking.
"Ughh .. it's okay b..aby Mommy wi..ll protect you ..uhh god why doesss.. it hurttt-ghhhh"...
