Write a reviewGood solid story, kept me reading till the end. Only epilogue is not that finalizing, bit of a cliff.
The concept is very interesting, but sucks that the MC only cares about himself and doesn't develop friends and romance, even with his family is cold. I hate this kind of personalities, no one can survive by himself , he as person doesn't grow, I don't see the point to read about a character that doesn't care about anything, even his pets or the store, he doesn't have any ambition or goal.
I'll say the book is actually good, tho it can't be on same rank as super gene and others, the world background came out quite good, mc character (a bit messy)
I originally started reading this novel about a year ago now and I can now finally say, I've finished the final chapter. All 1574 or whatever the final number is. And it is by far the best novel I have read. There are certain sections where you can tell that the translators either got incredibly tired while working on translating, or forgot to proofread a page or 2. This is I think around 10 pages in total. Out of 1500. So it is definitely not a common occurrence. This is all the say the quality is up to snuff. Now onto the story. In my opinion this story is split up into several acts. Around 5 or 6. Starting with su ping being isekai'd into a world with "magical astral beasts". The world is just like ours except now people can make contracts with these beasts to make them pets, and then they can fight alongside eachother for protection from other dangerous magical beasts. Now the entire story is set up in a leveling system, as you read up through the chapters you learn more about this world, and universe, and. Galaxy until eventually you know basically everything. And throughout this... "Ancestral land of chaos" there are always levels. If you however do not wish to spend a LARGE PORTION OF YOUR TIME reading about how everything exists in this world, you can always read the first act and see how you like it from there. The first act follows su ping as he grows in level from normal humans, unable to even contract an astral beasts into a pet, into a "legendary battle pet warrior" this is split up into a 10 level system to start out with. They're just called the numbers. "Tier 1 battle pet warrior" I think. It was a while ago. Up until we get to the legendary stage at the very end. Cmon now, this is a story about getting stronger and getting more pets, and MOST importantly the friends along the way. Literally. The most important. There have been numerous times in reading this that I have been bawling my eyes out, because the character writing is that good. I could genuinely feel emotions for these people and pets and their friendships. As for the world building... There's a lot. But due to the sheer scale of "learning everything about everything so there's a satisfying ending" in the first chapter there's not as much world building as you'd expect in a traditional novel. This doesn't really matter though, since the entire idea is just "our world and then pokè- "non copyrighted battle pets". Oh and also there's this thing called the galactic federation that exists and sort of like controls the entire galaxy, but that's act 2-4. Now onto the bad. There's not much in my opinion but I do have to say, it can get gory. Its like if the Pokémon peta game where it's just animal fighting, except they are entirely justified in their fighting. It has got some gory moments though. Like halfway through act 1 where the main character essentially uses telekinesis to physically explode a person. Because they were trying to kill his sister, and didn't know he was strong. To be honest it may not be seen as THAT gory as there's no real description, but it CERTAINLY painted a picture in my head. I could literally talk about this novel for upwards of 12 hours straight so I'm going to stop right here. But if you like action, Or overpowered main characters (but not too overpowered to get no tension), or if you're just looking for a thing to read for the next year, averaging about 50 chapters a month. Then start reading. Get to a part that feels satisfying for you, either after he saves the day the first time. Or whenever you want to stop. It's literally helped cure my depression.
Just love this novel, it's good and it's love the way the author changed the mc powers
Reveal SpoilerThis is one of the best novel i ever read . The story development is too good. But there is one problem mc do not get any girl.
Spoiler free review Another good novel. It's a story of our MC "Su Ping" who gets reincarnated into a scifi Cultivation World but luckily receives an OP System. While it might not be a literary masterpiece or a must-read but it's definitely unique and fun novel. Worldbuilding, A very expansive world. The scale of the world is massive. Also MC keeps traveling to many different worlds, so you will keep seeing new places all the time. MC and Side Characters, Amazingly done. MC is a joy to read, he is outspoken and very justice oriented which is the main reason he gets into a lot of fights. Other then MC, we have his friends / pets, each of which have a story of their own which are amazingly done. Even the ordinary side characters have a story of their own. Although many of these side character eventually get forgotten later, but during the time they were shown almost each of them gets some time to shine. Cultivation, A unique Cultivation system which focuses on Pets at the early level. The later level are all Dao related but I believe this novel has one of the best understanding of how Dao Cultivation will look like from Cultivation perspective. Even the "Star Lord" level cultivators, which is at the middle of the whole Cultivation tree are basically Omnipotent, they can do anything Create life, travel in space, even time, reverse death, create matter, anything. The higher level are somehow even more Omnipotent. About the Plot, The plot can be divided into two parts. The first half focuses on MC's growth in Cultivation and as a person, and it's where the story shines the most. The character development of MC is engaging, even if he occasionally behaves like a Young Master but he still is a very charming character. The second half delves into the mystery of the System, the truth of the world, and the final big bad enemy. Ending, Very weird ending. It was definitely rushed but it was also wierd that everyone in the last fight suddenly turned into a philosopher. Rather then ending with a fight, almost all the people in the ending few chapters are basically having a debate about of life and death. Although there is still a fight going on but it's not the main focus. I didn't dislike it but this was definitely the first time I am seeing something like this in a webnovel, this is more of an anime thing. Cons, As the story progresses, the author seems to become forgetful of what he has written previously, which results in inconsistency in his writing, lots of ordinary character being forgotten and lots of plot threads which never being fully resolved. In summary, Good novel. Sometimes it even made me feel very warm and fuzzy. Give it a try, especially if you like pet novels.
Amazing novel. A must read for people who love beast taming novels. Wondering if the author is going to create another work?
The ending is a bit bittersweet but the story is fun in total despite the mc’s young master murder hobo tendencies
alur cerita tidak monoton, perkembangan karakter masih bisa dimengerti. dan untuk MC tidak terlalu baik hati dan polos.
just re-read the story again and I still can't believe it's over. loved it from beginning to end and still miss new chapters coming out. give it a try, it may be frustrating at times but in the end the journey you took with su ping and his pets will be something you will not forget.
ok at first I hated the MC but after what happened by the major families, I get it I would do the same thing or worse lol over all a great book! only concern is the coin cost starting at chapter 703 or so that is making me not want to continue this book :(
The author is certainly good at keeping interest and I very much enjoyed the story. That being said it gets dinged for throwing around the idiot ball and often forgetting plot elements. For example MC was supposed to keep a reward if he stayed on the list for a month or something. Never saw him get a single one even after topping the list MC was supposed to spread the multiple small world cultivation method. Never did. I don't think the MC ever learned the advanced knowledge from the system. At one point he could have likely just transmitted a perfect law to a pet and instantly complete professional training but it never occurred to him. Claiming to care about his strength but never filling his pet slots. The pet store became a complete afterthought after a certain point. He's just going through the motions.
I read this book after it ended and I have to say I loved it. I haven’t cried more during any other book I have read the bond between a pet and it’s partner is truly beautiful
Translation kinda sucked with some repeating lines every now and then but over all it was a great read
Trash, absolutely trah novel. MC Bootlicks someone else's Electric mouse whole time while ignoring his own pers. He is way too addicted to trying found fault in bigshots. MC doesn't have brain and is a total idiot. No plot, Everything is random. System is useless. I am a tolerant person to most novels, but this one is absolutely garbage. I can't believe it has Comic adaption.
