Xiang Kun followed the trail and smell for several hundred meters, stopping by the lake, where the scent completely disappeared. Judging by the few drops of blood seeping into the ground, the final direction hinted toward the lake.

Did that "thing" fly over the lake with the husky's corpse? Or could it have tossed it into the lake?

Or maybe, that "thing" could not only fly but also dive into the water?
