An Yang's mother did not want Hu Jiaojiao to be her daughter-in-law. After all, Hu Jiaojiao's family only had money. They held no position of power in society. On top of that, with little to no talent, Hu Jiaojiao would not be able to help the An family in any shape or form.

"I'm not discussing this matter with you," Jian Yiling replied. Although her voice was soft and gentle, the words that she was saying were not soft and gentle at all.

"Miss Jian, what do you mean by that?"

"I'm requesting you to stay out of An Yang and Hu Jiaojiao's relationship. If you don't do so, I will make your life miserable."

"Are… Are you threatening me?"

An Yang's mother did not expect Jian Yiling to threaten her like this.

If it weren't for Jian Yiling's identity, An Yang's mother would have thought the young girl in front of her was joking.
