Chapter 2: Inside a Cold Cave

I start crying and crying, thinking I'll never see my family again. As I try to get up and run as far as I could, he grabs my arm, making me scream because of the pain the shock made. He then let go of my arm, gives me a cold wet towel that he left outside on a branch of a small tree about my height. I hesitate before taking it and put it on my arm where the pain is. I calm down, but still in shock also sad, thinking I'll never see my family again. He asks me if I'm okay. Which I obviously respond with a no. He looks at the ground then at me, I start shivering, the cave is so cold that my lips turn purple. He gives me a blanket that he stole from campers when they were not looking. I ask him why he is taking care of me, he tells me he doesn't want his female to get sick. I wanted to leave so bad when he called me his female, but I knew I couldn't escape. But I have to admit, he is not bad looking, for someone that lives in a cave deep in the forest in the middle of nowhere. I started to think about my brother, when he left me here, alone with this creature that kidnapped me and is keeping me in this dark cave. He asked me what was my name, I didn't want to say it. I asked him if he had a name, he told me he didn't have one. I tell him I could name him if he wanted, he smiled at me and told me yes with excitement and joy in his eyes. I start thinking of a name for him. I start saying names that come in my mind until he says yes. Until I say, Edwin. He tells me he absolutely love this name. Now that he has a name, I won't call him creature again. After trying to find a name, I take the fruits he gave me and start eating, because of everything that has happened not a long time ago. I finish the bowl and decide to tell him my name.
