Chapter 2: FIRST PREPARATION
When Alexander came to, he was back on his bed, he looked up to still see the cute smiling maid.
She did not flinch when Alexander stared at her real hard for long. She just stared back with a smile like she always have.
Alexander already knew what she is anyway so he wasn't phased by her so he just ignores her while his beep on his thoughts.
'The apocalypse uhh... can it be stop? I doubt it... since God said so himself... Well, at least the being who claims itself to be the messenger did anyway, now who knows what it says I'd true. Although it wasn't very thrust worthy I have no other choice but to believe it... sigh Since they gave us a warning or a 'Revelation' they called it... Do they expect us to survive the apocalypse? Why only warn us of such an event and not the whole other world'.
Alexander was making facial expressions as he thinks. Still sitting on his bed with his right arm cross and left arm holding his chin. If one were to look at him they would thought of the statue "thinker".
The maid by the door was still looking at him with not much expressions on her face and her eyes unblinking. She only has one expression on her face and that's smiling.
Alexander still staring at her while thinking.
'They said, as I recall, it's only an apocalypse and not the end of time. The end of the world and the end of time is two completely different things. Time will still exist but the world will stop functioning normally as it did before. Where as if it were the end of time all existance would dissappear including the universe. So we could be lucky if it were only to be the apocalypse. The apocalypse in Greek word means Revelation. It means something unbeknownst to the masses and then unveiling it to them. Which will then mean something will show itself to the world during the apocalypse?... demons maybe? It wouldn't be a far fetch idea since we already encountered an existance who claims to be an Angel. Wait a minute... I don't remember it saying its an Angel, it only claimed to be the messenger.'
Alexander seems to have thought of the being as an Angel because at the time he precede the bright white light to be Holy. It wasn't just him almost everyone in the void thought the same, especially since it claims to be the messenger of God. In fact if that being showed itself to the whole world they would all agree subconsciously that its an Angel. Who else would God send as its messenger but the Angel.
'Will it only be us that'll survive, the one that's has awakened, or will ordinary people make it as well... Will that depend on their luck, since I and the other gifted ones can't warn them in any way. No, the messenger only said we can't TELL them, but there's no rule saying we can't help them survive. Yes that's right I can still help people.'
Although Alexander doesn't owe the world anything, he just subconsciously wants to help other people, without even thinking about receiving rewards. He just thought that his parents would do the same thing.
'That messenger said that it'll be giving us gifts to help us survive the apocalypse. So does it mean that something so dangerous will show up that we will be needing help to overcome it...seems likely. Many a time in the story of old, God released many despicable things and or creature into the world. For example the great flood that wiped out all living things in the world, a total cleanse, but only Noahs ark survived and those few selected species that were on the ship survived? They were the chosen ones to repopulate earth. Is this a new flood and are we the new chosen ones? Will this be a total cleanse of the whole world?'
He suddenly felt unwell at that thought. Who in their right mind want to destroy everything in the world and wipe it clean.

Alexander was stuck deep in his own thoughts, while still staring at his maid, a regular occurrence ever since he inherited his fathers business. He will silently ponder by himself for hours if no one interrupts him at that time.
"Young master, is something the matter?."
She finally broke the silent staring competition that has been ongoing for some time and tilts her head asking. Although the question expressed a voice of concern her face were still bright with big happy smile.
"No. I was just thinking. For now cancel all my schedule for today and skylink my assistant that a driver will pick her up from her place. also send the driver the details to bring her here directly to my building."
He said all that while getting up off the bed and changing his clothes in front of her without a care. He already has done this multiple times in front of her because he knows what she is.
"Yes young master."
She stood on her spot for a second without doing anything. Just standing like a statue. Staring into the wall in front of her, her eyes still and unmoving.
"It has been done young master. Would you like to reschedule today's meeting and move it up for tomorrow?"
She asked unfazed by her young master changing, keeping on her big bright smile on her face. Her hand clasped together and stading still like a statue.
"No. Actually cancel all this week's schedule. If they ask, just apologise and tell them I'm sick. There shouldn't be any problem with that excuse, and if they are unhappy push their reservation even farther."
He says, grabbing his sky tablet while walking out of the door, into the bathroom to brush his teeth and wash his face. the maid has already disappeared behind him when he went to wash his face in the bathroom. Alexander also fixed his clothes in front of the mirror, already forgetting about the girl in maids outfit.
The female maid is not actually human but an A.I hologram version AD2.0. The projection comes from two small electronic plates, one would be on the ground the other would float in the air using strong magnet current that repels each other so that one would hover in the air while the other stays grounded. Then it would project images back and fort, that's how it maintain its image of a female maid. The grounded plate has small wheels on the bottom so that it would be free to move around the place. When the plates are not projecting images of the maid, the plate that hovers in the air would slowly descend to the grounded plate and stick together.

Alexander made his way to the kitchen following the familiar aroma of good home made breakfast. When he got there the kitchen were empty so he made his way to the dining hall where his butler were waiting for him with his breakfast.
The butler greeted his young master as he place the plate onto the table of the already made breakfast for Alexander who happily sat down on his oversized throne like chair. The dining table were big enough for six people to eat with, but there were only his butler and himself currently here.
"Thank you Sebastian."
As a young person brought up into a comfortable environment he was thought proper manners by his parents before they passed away. Now that his parents weren't around to teach him this, his butler continued to teach him in his parents place. So Alexander is a well mannered and well behaved gentleman.
"Not at all young master. May I ask if it's alright to cancel all your schedule this week. Many of them are of important matters and people with high statues.."
Sebastian asked, he was concerned if Alexander knows what he is doing of course there is no doubt that his young master is very much capable, nonetheless asking won't hurt. As canceling meetings from important members of the business world would be bringing backlash. They would think it be rude that after waiting for a meeting for so long just for it to be cancelled on the day is disrespectful. Then they might use this to gain advantages position to their next meeting with Alexander.
"It is fine, those meetings are just a formalities anyway, and they don't take me seriously as they always looked down on me. Always whispering behind my back such as 'He achieved nothing' or 'All his fathers accomplishments'.
Also this is the perfect time to bring up that I won't be going to school, so can you inform the head principal."
Because of his young age nobody in the business world would take him seriously. Of course they never do it in front of him but they always talk down on him hehind his back. His employees are frustrated about this because they know their young master is very capable business person.
As for his school his only there anyway to connect with people of his same age, Alexander is already bright for his age.
"Understood young master."
Sebastian dropped the matter and walked out of the room. He did not feel to continue the subject because his young master has already made up his mind. Knowing his young master to be very dependent and capable to handle himself, so he leaves him to his own devices, only stepping in whenever necessary.

Alexander continues to eat his breakfast while also turning on his skytablet to make himself apear like his reading his tablet, while in a matter of is actually in his thoughts.
'So the end of the world is in less than two years is it. It's still feels unbelievable, it feels like a dream. But this system in my head is real.'
He can somehow feel the system inside his head like its always been part of him his whole entire life.
'System activate.'
A screen instantly appeared in front of him with a hue surrounding it. It caught him off guard because he thought he would only see it inside his head, but he calmly observe it.
'So... let's see what do we have here. There's a mission column.'
On the screen were like a monitor of a computer, with list of different objective.
"Open mission column."
He said while pretending that he is working on his sky tablet to mask his system just in case his butler came in. Another set of monitor popped right beside the main one.
"MISSION ONLINE.
PRIMARY MISSION DETAILS: Make the necessary preparations for the upcoming apocalypse.
MISSION TIME DURATION: 2 years.
MISSION REWARD: 50,000,000 IN SYSTEM COINS."
Inside Alexander's head a feminine robotic voice says in script like manner. Alexander was taken aback and lost for word, he is not used to feminine voice invading his inner thought. But like always he was able to adjust to the changes.
"Oh... that seems a lot of reward just for one mission. But it seems appropriate since the duration is for two years and also considering the severity of the mission. Understandable. Now let's see the other missions."
SECONDARY MISSION DETAIL: Build a complex underground bunker. Building an underground bunker will be considered as part of necessary preparation for the apocalypse.
MISSION TIME DURATION: 6 months.
MISSION REWARD: 1,000,000 System coins.
'Its reasonable to build that... I would need a base of operations after all. But I only I have time for six months, feels a little short. Also it doesn't say how many to build so I will definitely build more than one.'
Then he remembered that there were also a shop in this system. He thought he was finish with the mission screen so he closed it to open the shop menu.
"Open shop."
He said in a low voice. Then a holographic window opened in front of him. There were multiple column with numerous merchandise on sale. Alexander looked at top right corner of his window and found that he currently has one million in-system currency. Looking at the prices of these merchandise they seem to be at around one hundred thousand to two hundred thousand.
"If I go in a shopping spree I would go broke, considering I only I one million, at most I can buy ten things in this shop. Also, it's only just level one shop... I see, as I level up the prices will increase. But then again so will rewards and the quality of the shop will also improve, assuming it works the way I imagined it would."
Looking at the list of the shop there's:
-- Ordinary (male/female) realistic human robotic shell for all version holographic assistant -- 200,000 System coins
-- Level 1 Real time personal map -- 200,000 System coins
-- Level 1 Personal combat suit [poor quality] -- 500,000 System coins
-- Intel on the End of the World -- 5,000,000 System coins
-- Simply ordinary biodegradable grade plastic water bottle[No water, must refill yourself] -- 10,000 System coins
There are more things that the system is selling on the shop but Alexander decided to check the rest later.
One thing that caught his eyes was the Intel. He was ecstatic and can't believe what he is seeing. Information is always viable in situation like this. But almost had a heart attack seeing the price tag, because currently he only possess one million coins and he needs another four.
That made him frustrated for his lack of currency in his account. He thought if only he could use his real life money.
Right now he is trying to figure out on how to increase his system coins. After couple of minutes of searching in his system window he found out how to gain more coins through the help function.
"This should explain my current question"
Alexander press a button from the window, then the voice started talking again while letters also appeared in another window.

--SIDE MISSION IS THE MOST EASIEST MISSION ONE CAN DO BUT ALSO HAS THE LOWEST REWARDS. THERE ARE ALWAYS FIVE SIDE MISSION IF ONE IS COMPLETED, ANOTHER WILL REPLACE IT THE DAY AFTER. IF ONE WERE TO FINISH ALL FIVE SIDE MISSION WITHIN RESONABLE TIME DEPENDING ON THE MISSIONS, THE REWARDS WILL BE DOUBLED. EACH MISSIONS WILL REFRESH ONES IN A WHILE IF THE MISSION IS NOT FINISHED AND OR SELECTED--
--SPECIAL MISSION. SOMETIMES THE SYSTEM WILL ACKNOWLEDGE REQUEST FROM CERTAIN INDIVIDUALS AND OR CERTAIN SITUATION ON THE CURRENT EVENT AND CONVERT IT INTO SPECIAL SIDE MISSION. THE REWARDS WILL VARY DEPENDING ON THE REQUEST MADE. SIDE MISSION WILL DISAPEAR IF USER CHOSE TO IGNORE REQUEST--

"Ohh... How do I convert my real life money into system coins. That way is actually really convenient considering I am a billionaire i can conveniently use my money however I want."
Alexander just said so out loud expecting someone to answer, and his intuition was spot on because a feminine voice spoke in his head.
SYSTEM [AS LONG AS THE MONEY IS IN YOUR NAME AND OR IN YOUR POSSESSION. AS AN EXAMPLE YOUR DIGITAL BANK ACCOUNT OR AS SIMPLE AS A PIGGY BANK UNDER YOUR BED WILL SUFFICE. ONE ONLY HAS TO THINK HOW MUCH TO CONVERT.]
"Oh really... well, that's really convenient since I'm brimming with money that I have no clue what to do with them... why did i sound like a douchebag saying that out loud. Well anyway let me try it now."
He is currently testing on what he had just learned, he imagine the amount of money he wants to convert. A second later he checked his top right corner of his system window and found the numbers rising real fast. On the top right corner of the holographic window, instead of only one million of which how much he started off with, he now has ten million coins in a blink of an eye.
He put on a smile on his face surprised that it actually worked. Delighted that he now has so much in his account he blurted out...
"Well that was easy."
He was very impressed of himself and so very proud of how much money he actually possess in his account. He was never one to care about money before because he thinks its just another piece of paper for him. It's his first time to actually want more money so that he can convert all of them into his system coins.
"What was easy young master."
Just then a female beauty in bright red double breasted suit and mini skirt with black stockings walked in her, also, red high heels. Approaching Alexander. Her Refreshing fragrance draws you in deeper into your softest part of your memory like your long lost family, which gives her a sense of familiarity.
Her green emerald coloured eyes sparkled, complementing her blood red lips. The longer you stare the harder it is to look away from her attractive smile. It is a black hole posing as a soft lips waiting to suck you in.
Alexander just stared at her awestruck. Realizing that he still has his system window open. He thought he was caught with his gift up and wide open.
