Chapter 170: I Don't Want These Anymore 2
"Jason!" Rosanna shouted his name as she approached him.
"Mom, what's wrong?" He calmed the raging storm in his mind as he faced her.
A few seconds later, he felt a tough grip on his hand. Looking down, he saw Rosanna putting Selina's hand on top of his. Then, she pulled both of them in front of Wan Wan. She looked around, found a box of tissues and stuffed it in Wan Wan's hands.
As soon as Wan Wan finished wiping her eyes, she slowly opened her eyes and saw the trio standing in front of her eyes. She swallowed, feeling the load of pressure on her shoulders. The atmosphere was so tense that she found it suffocating. Her feet were super glued to the ground when she met Rosanna's intense glare.
"Listen up, chick. You should be able to see clear as a bell right now. With your whatever degrees vision, take a good look at my daughter and son-in-law's hands." Rosanna lifted the couple's hands where their wedding ring flashed into Wan Wan's eyes.
Crossing her arms, Rosanna acted mighty. "Since your vision was too poor to notice the wedding rings on their fingers, I can only shove reality right to your face. First of all, you're one heck of a failure as a sales associate. I suggest you quit this career field and change it to some matchmaking one since you love finding yourself a taken man. Perhaps you'll land yourself in a terrible marriage with your excellent lack of skills."
"Second of all, my daughter is not someone you can touch easily. Just because she's wearing a hoodie and is better than you in all perspective does not give you the right to bully her! Oh, those insults you said about her was recorded loud and clear. I'll have my lawyers knocking on your door by midnight tonight. Have fun dealing with your lawsuit."
"Third of all, even if they weren't married, you shouldn't try to wreck a lovely couple. Your mindset is sick! Go see a psychiatrist if you need one, but don't come here splashing makeup remover to people's faces when you are the one who needs to clear your face! I better not see your face in the cosmetic industry anymore. If I do, those companies will go bankrupt in a snap."
After saying everything in one breath, Rosanna patted her heaving chest. She exhaled deeply and was about to leave the store with the couple, but halted her steps when she heard the familiar voice from behind. It was Manager Len!
With a lopsided smile on her face, Rosanna turned around a second time. She saw Manager Len helping Wan Wan wipe her face. She comforted Wan Wan and dared speak righteously in a high volume. "Who did this to you? Was it that vixen?! Where's Mister Hui? Don't tell me he left after seeing you in a mess like this! What kind of soup did that vixen boil for him to eat? How could he not separate right from wrong?"
Her words sharply pierced Rosanna's ears. In one natural move, she took out her cellphone from her shoulder bag and dialed her husband's number. On the first ring, he answered the call. "Yes, honey?"
"Hubby, I want to cancel all transactions I ordered yesterday. The billion dollars I wanted to use on Selina's dresses will be used elsewhere. I'm not doing business with a disgusting store who looks down on my daughter." Rosanna clicked her tongue in annoyance. Her smile curved to an ugly grin when she stared at Manager Len.
Manager Len was about to look up and see who was speaking with such confidence. Suddenly, the world seemed to have frozen in ice. She felt chills down her spine as she recognized Rosanna's face. She was one of their top Platinum VIPs who was connected to the rest of the company's Platinum members as well. One word from her and the company would lose nearly half a trillion dollars of business.
She stuttered anxiously when she heard Rosanna's words. "M..Mrs. Clover, what brings you here? Who is your daughter? There must be some kind of misunderstanding. Our staff is very professional. How about we take a seat inside and resolve the problems you have about our service?"
"Manager Len, I am a very straightforward person. Like I've already said, I am very unsatisfied with your employees' attitude towards my daughter. Hence, this billion dollar transaction will be cancelled. The order is cancelled." Rosanna nearly rolled her eyes when she heard the manager claim everything as a misunderstanding.
Although the staff didn't walk up to stop Wan Wan from attacking Selina, they indirectly helped her. Therefore, Rosanna did not think the employees were any better than the Manager. In the very least, they could've called security or gave Selina hints about it. Since they didn't do their jobs correctly, why should she give them mercy?
"Who is your daughter? I'm sure if Miss. Clover ever enters our store; we would give her the best service. Who would dare to -" Her voice trailed away as Selina stepped out from behind.
She smiled, "I am her daughter, except I recently got married. Later, I will follow the surname Hui."
"Y..You.. You are..." Shocked by the piece of news, the manager stumbled backwards and fell.
Rosanna cracked her knuckles, revealing her lack of interest in continuing this conversation. "Well all the clothes that I ordered are one size only and all for my daughter. Since you want to brush this whole thing off as a misunderstanding when your employee here was trying to be a home wrecker, I can see how low standard your company sets their professionalism. Since my daughter suffered in your store, I am only playing it fair. I don't want these anymore."
Noticing the logo design on the bag Jason was holding, Rosanna scoffed. "Oh, right. My daughter wouldn't wear anything from the brands she comes to dislike. Consider yourself lucky that Jason paid for the red dress beforehand. If not, you would be at a bigger loss."
The manager couldn't bear the responsibility of such a huge loss to the company! It took her fifteen years of effort to climb to her current position. If she loses this business, she will most likely be terminated by the company. Thinking about the consequences, she shouted out carelessly to Rosanna.
"Mrs. Clover, you can't leave without paying for the transaction! I'll apologize to Miss. Clover..I mean Mrs. Hui. I'll have Wan Wan apologize as well. She's lacking brain cells today. No, she forgot to take her brain medicine this morning and left her brain at home for disturbing the lovely newlyweds. I'll scold her! Please, you promised to purchase the items! You can't go back on your words!"
Turning around towards the entrance, Rosanna walked a few steps forward. She stopped again, but this time she didn't look at the manager. She said, "You also said your staff was very professional too. But were they really?"
Her mockery was a brutal face slap to Manager Len's face.
Just like that, the trio walked out of the store without turning back.
