Chapter 17: Princess.
my dad has a horrified look on his face when I mention mother. "No please don't we have like uhhhh 12 years before we need to tell her." he says in a begging tone.
"Sasha get him!" I shout as the little girl in my shadow jumps out and starts swinging her massive scythe at my dad who easily dodges everything.
"A reaper companion?" The king says with a rare look of shock.
"Cmon it's not that bad I'm sure the princess is a sweet girl." my dad says dodging the increasing scythe blows.
The king however shoots him down. "Actually we spoiled her a bit too much and she likes to fight a lot and she has run off all her royal teachers so we were gunna pawn her off on you so she can go to the academy with the rest of the kids." So in other words she's a brat.
"What?!? Alex you bastard! I knew there was some kind of problem when you messaged me for no reason." my dad shouts chucking the moonshine at the king who catches it and sheepishly rubs his head.
"Now now we will be family so there's no need for these little details." he laughs and pulls out a piece of paper. "By my royal decree you are now a prince officially engaged to princess Silvia Barclay." he says tossing a the official decree towards me
I toss it back. "I reject."
He throws it back. "You'll receive a royal dowry in the form of gold, magic books, and a set of royal armor if you take her."
"You son of a bitch. I'm in." I tuck the decree into my pocket.
"Good." he says clapping his hands as maids come in.
"Please see princess Silvia in and get the gift dowry we have prepared for Prince Ryan also send out letters to the noble families informing them of my decisions I'm tired of those fat men pestering me all the time for marriage contracts." he says with a tone full of authority.
The maids rush off to get everything done.
"You will be allowed to visit the royal library and get magic books for your element up to intermediate. As you just started school I'm sure you'll find the books here much more detailed than ones sold In shops." he tell me.
I just look at him before asking in a funny voice. "So I can get any books I need as long as they are for my element right?" I ask double making sure.
"Yes we have an expansive library with every single element as one of the previous kings was a magic researcher in his spare time." he says.
I just look at my dad before we both breakdown in mad laughter.
"You can't go back on your words Alex." my dad says with a laugh.
"Of course I won't as my honor of the king and leader of the wolf tribe is at stake besides it's just a couple magic books why would I take it back?" he asks in confusion.
"Well you see my son here can use every single element so you just gave away pretty much all of the magic books in you collection under advanced magic hahaha!" my dad laughs like he won the lottery.
The king quickly stands up. "Impossible quickly show me your grimoire."
I pull out the galaxy colored grimoire and the king almost instantly collapses in tears.
"You guys tricked me If I'd have known you were going to rob me I wouldn't have invited you." he says sadly.
"Haha too late now!" my dad laughs slapping his back.
Soon there is a commotion outside as the Maids reenter the room following a little girl with silver hair and wolf ears with a fluffy tail wagging behind her.
"You called for me father?" She asks.
"Yes I have some people you need to meet starting with your betrothed." he says pointing towards me.
Her tail stops wagging and she looks at me curiously before letting out a snort. "He looks weak."
I just raise an eyebrow.
"Now now Silvia he is actually a magic swordsman with a reaper companion and an all element grimoire you shouldn't look down on him." the king says and the little girls eyes light up.
"Really? Fight me and if you win I shall allow this." she says with a snobby tone before a rapier appears in her hands and a blue grimoire in the other.
"What a brat." I say with a sigh.
"Brat?!? I'll show you a brat." she says running at me while firing off icicles.
My little chain just casually smacks them out of the way with tink tink noises.
"A chain? That's a rare weapon." the king remarks while him and my dad watch from the side.
The princess keeps charging at me before thrusting her rapier at me which I easily side step.
Next thing she knows she's on the floor in wrapped up in chains while I'm sitting on her back rubbing her tail.
"Wow its so fluffy and soft. Do you condition and brush it daily?" I ask feeling the soft silver fur.
"Wha?! What are you doing!" She shouts blushing as I keep playing with the tail.
"I won so I'm petting the tail." I say pointing towards the chain spear aimed at her neck.
"Uh Ryan the tails and ears of beast people kind of act as intimate spots and only significant others and parents usually touch them as signs of affection but parents usually only brush them." My dad explains with a weird look.
"Welp too bad I have a soft spot for fluffy things soooo." I keep touching the tail rubbing and fluffing it. "Soft."
There's a strange sigh from underneath me and I look over and see the princess red as a tomato and slightly drooling.
"The tails of wolf people are extra sensitive and sometimes act as a sexual stimulus when handled roughly like your doing." my dad says while face palming.
My eyes widen. "Uhhh my bad?" I say quickly getting up and scurrying away.
