Chapter 1: A man of few dreams.

"Beeep! Beeep! Beeep! Beeep! Bee..... Bang"

"F**king alarm!" He exclaimed! His heart was racing as if he just run a race and though his face showed only tiredness his eyes struck out pure rage in the low lit room. He had been interrupted from one of the only things he enjoyed. He sat up only to be hit with a wave of dizziness, he looked up and saw the alarm clock that had been thrown to the other side of the room.

"Looks like I have to buy another one." He muttered to himself half awake.

He looked around the room that many would call a dumpster, to him it felt very homely. He stood up with the grace of an old man, with a momentarily pause went and picked up the alarm clock. To his surprise the alarm clock was intact, he smiled at the prospect of not having to replace this alarm clock.

"Ah... so you are a tough little fella, good, good, me and you are going to get along just fine." as he flicked on the light and sat down on the bed.

The mess that was awashed with light once again looked as though it had been flung about by a tornado, but no this was the work of a man who disliked house work.

On the floor lay a few empty cans of soda, empty packets of crisps, unwashed clothes, a coffee mug and a few dirty dishes but these things didn't concern him. What did concern him was why the alarm went off. He pondered for a minute but couldn't quite place why he set the alarm.

He then proceeded to get up to go to the bathroom to both empty his bowels and his mind. Then proceeded to go through a full cycle of what he usually does when he wakes up, brushing his teeth, shaving his almost none existent facial hair, washing his face with a face towel and then smearing aftershave on himself.

Just as he was making his way to his bedroom (to go back to sleep) he remembered why he set the alarm clock.

"F**k me, boss is gonna be pissed am late." as his face twisted into one of a snarling wolf.

He hated that he would have to leave the comfort of his bed and venture outside just because society required it. He immediately raced to his bedroom and grabbed whatever he could find from his wardrobe. He then looked at the time.

"2:30pm not good." He thunk aloud. He opened the curtain, switched off the light in his bedroom and power walked to the kitchen. Where he found a mess of dirty dishes, food crumbs all over the floor and half eaten food. He ignored all this and started scoffing down the half eaten chips he bought from yesterday.

Then at speed did a 180 degree turn and power walked to his shoes at the end of the hallway, but slowed his pace when he was passing his mother's room. With a quick flick of his wrists started putting on his shoes and left the house.

Outside whilst walking past the house he took thought to himself and made a decision that he would clean the house once he got back. The house's exterior also needed much of a make over itself, this house that looked like it was in dire need of refurbishment, was in fact his mother's one of the few things left in his possession when she passed away.

As he proceeded to the train station people stared at him and whispered behind his back.

"It's as if they have never seen a man before..." He thunk to himself.

To him he thought nothing of his outward appearance and how it may affect other people's judgment of him. To the world though it came off differently though he was just wearing a white buttoned shirt he randomly threw on, a pair of tight black jeans, with a brown laptop bag and a pair of brown leather smart looking shoes.

His out-world projection was breath taking... He looked smart yes, but that wasn't the problem it was looks that made his appearance striking. He had the face of a model, some would take it as far as to say that it was a face of a demi-god, his broad shoulders made him look muscline, his smile seemed to freeze people and his hazel-brown eyes seemed to intrance people. So wherever he went he was always on people's lips.

He arrived at small sky-scraper and buzzed himself in through the doors and walked into "Founders Game Workshop".

He was a coder, to be honest he wasn't even too sure how he got the job at this company.

He walked to his small cubicle taking care to avoid talking to the other employees but found himself summoned to his boss's office.

His boss Himari Yua always treated him differently from others, whilst she shouted and berated others she always seemed to act affectionate and soft towards him. This time though he could see the cold stance from her eyes.

Himari Yua spoke: "Do you know why you're in 'here' Eli"

"No" He casually replied but he knew exactly why he just didn't want to be bothered and given a lesson in time keeping.

Himari sat in silence as she drank in his features. Himari was dazzled by how handsome, gorgeous, beautiful, the man infront of her was. Is there even a word to describe this guy?

On the other hand though she hated how lazy and inconsistent he was, he was always late, never turned in work on time, never even bothered to show up to meetings and even slept in work. The only reason she couldn't bring herself to fire him was because: A she had totally fallen for him and B She felt sorry for him.

She then proceeded to stare furiously at his "God face" (nickname she gave him) wishing to touch it. She wondered what he thought of her and if she ever had a chance.

Eli stared at a seriously focused boss. She was a very eye catching woman in her 20s, 23 to be exact he was 19 if she wasn't his boss maybe there would have been something he thought to himself. Maybe there would have been something?

"Eli don't you have goals? Dreams you want to achieve? Aren't y...." as she was immediately cut off.

"Look am sorry boss what exactly are we talking about here? Aren't you meant to be disciplining me about my lateness isn't that why you called me in here?" :Truthfully he just wanted to get out of the office and go sleep the faster this got done the better.

Himari stared for a minute and wondered what exactly went through Eli's mind but she was at a loss so she dismissed him and told him not the be late again.

After he had left she spoke to her self; "Eli Yan i wonder if u even have a drive for anything?"

"Having dreams is something I want to encounter whilst sleeping and the only goal I have is silence and sleep" He chuckled to himself in thought.

He finally sat at his desk opened his laptop case moved out his laptop and switched on his company's desktop computer, did a bit of work on it trying to fix the duplication glitch some idiots had gone and taken advantage of in some random online that he over-saw. Then called it a day, immediately falling asleep on his work desk.

The position, his desk was positioned in, was in the blind spot of his boss which allowed him to get away with all sorts of stuff. It was a bonus that it was not uncommon some workers stayed over night and were found sleeping at their work stations, this meant that whenever he fell asleep people didn't bat an eye.
