Subaru's belongings consisted of a spare tire, a regular jerrycan, and some soap. That was it.
"I don't even get some magic fuel or something? I'm done. What am I supposed to do like
this?"
Subaru's fuel level had already gotten low and he used half of the one thing that might have been of any use—his jerrycan—before realizing that he had just gone through his only source of fuel. But worrying about it wasn't going to help him now.
Even if he'd wanted to put his hopes on the possibility that this was being staged as part of an elaborate reality TV show, the large crowd of humanoids and the fact that there were no cars nipped that in the bud.
"The fact that no one seems to be paying attention to the lack of cars means that its probably normal."
Subaru drove into an alleyway and sighed,
"The truth is, I have no idea what to do next, and I still have no idea how or why I was summoned, and where is the beautiful girl who summoned me?"
He heard footsteps walking towards his direction so Subaru turned around excitedly,
"Hey, is she finally here? The cute girl who summoned me..."
But what he saw wasn't a cute girl, it was a man with a mask and spray paint, behind that man were two of his buddies each with a mask and spray can of their own, the three men stood in such a way as to block Subaru from exiting the alley onto the main road.
"Umm... May I ask what you three fine fellows plan on doing with me?"
"Oh, it looks like this one here's a smart one! Well, nothing to worry about. We just want to give you a nice new paint job, there's no need for anyone to get hurt."
