Chapter 7: Chapter 3 (P2.2)
"What was that even for!" I yelled without even realising I had, my throat dry and the muscles rubbing against each other made it worse. I drag my tongue around my mouth and close my eyes as my tongue crawls over the smallest traces of blood. I lift my arm and wipe my mouth, grunting as he pulls my hand and starts pulling me with him as he walks.
"Looked like you were planning on jumping." He answered after a few minutes of walking. I can feel his nails, though trimmed down, digging into my abnormally small wrist. I can feel the pressure on my bones. I can feel that boiling, stinging sensation sliding up from my wrist and all the way to my brain. Letting out a sharp hiss of pain, He turns his eyes back towards me and loosens his grip.
"My apologies," is all he answers with, and all I do is nod in appreciation.
What a fun pair we were in that moment of time. Both blunt and seemingly free of the things we call emotion.
