Chapter 5: Ruthless
After reading the messages, Dante's expression was calm as he ordered the system.
''Show my current status.''
〖Understood!〗The system responded before an updated status window flashed before his eyes.

After the awakening, it was finally the time to test out that bold idea he had before moving forward but first he had to take care of a few things beforehand.
''Immediately spend the 10 stat points on my stamina,'' Dante instructed, he didn't have to think twice before opting for this choice as having more stamina could have him last more in battle and daily activities, enough stamina meant his cells would work better as they would have access to more energy, he found this in the data inside his brain.
The system didn't question his choice and immediately spend the 10 SP on Dante's stamina and he felt a vague refreshing feeling spreading through his body as his stamina increased.
''Next, give me a quick rundown of the things on my status.'' Dante gave his next order as soon as she finished carrying out his previous one.
〖Because you have yet to successfully choose a path such as Swordsman, Spearman, Archer, Gunman, and so on, you don't possess a Job, a class if you will. It will change later, though. Now that you're a Level 1 awakener, your status will be a Novice Awakener. You didn't have a title yet, you can get one later, I will explain more about title later.
Let's continue, Magic power is your capacity to store mana while your Strength stat is referring to how powerful your attacks will be. Defense is referring to how powerful your physical body is for taking damage.
Your agility is of course referring to how fast you will be, your reaction speed, your attacks everything is connected, and lastly, Stamina, which is your capacity to last in a fight or daily activity. A higher level of stamina will mean being capable of fighting longer, and being able to use your body and magic power more efficiently.
Moving next toward the next one, Elements: means the elements your body is compatible with, and because you have yet to be baptized you have none at the moment.
Skills is referring to the skills you have, they can be either Active or Passive. Active means it's always activated for example your Poison Immunity while a Passive ability can be switched on/off at will, for example, your Super Regeneration.
Finally, a Unique skill is also known as an innate ability, not many have one and it simply as its name suggested, only special existence have an innate ability and there are very powerful.〗
''I see.'' Dante nodded with his finger on his lips as if he was in deep thought before suddenly asking.
''Can you tell me about my innate ability it seems that I've more than one.''
The system had also noticed this, despite being only at the Novice Awakener stage and having recently awakened, Dante seemed to have many unique skills which were rare, he was indeed the chosen one the system thought before explained.
〖Indeed, you're special after all but don't become full of yourself as the world is vast and filled with many exceptional beings. Coming back to your request, I'm sorry but I don't know much because I have not awakened as I'm waiting for more privileges to be unlocked and your body to be accommodated to me before a complete awakening, things will be faster once you get baptized.〗
Dante frowned upon hearing the system's explanation and just as she felt she would soon be labeled as useless if she didn't give him a satisfactory answer, at least trying to give him one. The system went on and added.
〖Although, I'm unable to tell you everything right now but all I can say is that your unique skill Black Heaven is extremely powerful, you can suck pretty much everything and ingest it, making it yours.〗
''Is that true?" Dante asked with his head tilted to the side as if saying such a broken ability shouldn't exist but the system quickly confirmed it was true, everything she said that is.
〖Yes! It is true. I don't know everything as they might be more and we will learn more in the future.〗The system added, turning emotional, she could see their future together however because of this, she was too focused that she didn't notice the evil grin on Dante's lips while he mumbled under his breath.
'I know, you idiot, and thanks to this confirmation I am now sure of what to do next.'
Immediately after he called out the black hole above his hand, it was small, not large like previously when facing those men.
Finally, the system noticed that something was not right thus she asked.
〖Master, what are you trying to test?〗
''Master? huh! Well, it's simple I'm trying to get rid of a bug.''
〖What?〗
The system was shocked because in the next instant Dante moved that hand toward his head and with a resolute expression let the small black smoke penetrated his brain before turning into a black hole.
She had finally understood what he was trying to accomplish, every action taken previously, everything became clear in an instant and she immediately tried to dissuade him.
〖No! don't...〗
Unfortunately, it was already too late. The black Heaven appeared inside his brain wreaking havoc on its passage, he stopped his Super Regeneration skill, not reactivating until it was the right time.
Dante was bleeding from his seven orifices and the pain he was feeling could not be described with mere words, he was kneeling, his body shivering non-stop but he continued, and upon reaching its final destination at the center of the brain where a small chip was embedded the black hole stopped, the smart chip holding the system could not escape as the black hole since its entrance into Dante's brain made it impossible for anything to escape.
With the final bit of strength left Dante ordered.
''Devour and refine it into something fitting my needs and under my complete control.''
〖!!!〗
Bang!
He lost consciousness but not before reactivating his Super Regeneration skill at the right time.
The system's last thought before it was completely absorbed and refined had been.
'Ruthless, this man is too ruthless.'
