Chapter 10: A New morning

Early in the morning, at seven, Dante walked out of the bathroom.

Because he went to bed early last night and woke up early.

[Good morning, Master. Have you slept well?]

Nemesis greeted him as soon as he walked out of the bathroom.

''Yeah! I'm ready to start moving.''

[Master, what is today's schedule?]

Dante pondered for a second before deciding what to do next.

''Let go do some workout first.''

Nemesis immediately suggested some workout plan and Dante accepted as he went to the gym on the top floor.

The Blue Icy Hotel's gym was open 24 hours a day and guests could come in for free at any time. When Dante walked into the gym there were already about twenty people working out.

He finds an idle treadmill and started jogging.

After running for one hour, he stopped and switched to another exercise.

A few hours later he was done. After returning to his room, he took a shower and once more felt refreshed.

"This feeling is very good. It seems that I have to continue with this morning's exercises every day. This will help me slowly build up my strength and forge my physics.''

[Indeed! Next, we should get you baptized.]

Nemesis suggested.

''Yes! I know, it is primordial to get baptized as it will help me awaken an element, only then I will be considered as a true awakener.''

After getting dressed, he went to the restaurant to have breakfast.

Breakfast was scrambled eggs piled high on a bread bun, all served with apple juice. Food fit for a king or queen.

In the meantime in another location in Sunset city, there was a magnificent villa, naturally, this villa has a garden.

A wild bed of grass is contoured by intertwining shrubs. A pagoda stands in the back of the garden, still barren, but slowly being overgrown by climbing vines. The smaller flower bushes are unkempt, but look all the better for it; they're a pit stop for bees. The shrubs reach 1.5m/5ft high but don't usually grow this tall. A single path, marked with round stones, curls around the garden, offering a glimpse of the best spots.

Plants and flowers work together almost harmoniously to claim more land for themselves.

The pagoda is generally the biggest eye-catcher in the garden. The smaller flower bushes are hard to miss, and the shrubs do deserve some credit, but the eye will just be naturally drawn to the pagoda, even more so as there was a beautiful woman, the picture of perfection inside this pagoda undoubtedly gathering all attention on her.

It was the silver-haired beauty, the same mysterious lady who came to check when Dante was unconscious.

This woman was calmly enjoying her cup of coffee. The coffee cup was a rustic brown clay, the sort of look that spoke of a relaxing soulfulness. It was heaven to touch. This woman always thought such humble beauty invited the thoughts to go deep and reach high all at once.

She continued to enjoy a serene moment of peace while slowly savoring her coffee when a woman in a butler suit appeared, she had black bob-cut hair and beautiful light brown eyes.

''Mistress! I have got the letter of recommendation for enrolling in the Genesis Magic Academy.''

The woman said while handing a white letter with a golden seal to the silver-haired woman. The same letter Dante had inside his space ring but refused to use after reading the content.

''I see thank you, Ceres.'' The woman said before casually tossing the letter aside, she was not just interested in joining if not for him.

Suddenly, those ruby-like eyes shone and that woman asked.

''Ceres, tell me if you were a caged bird that got its temporary freedom and someone suggested that you go somewhere where it will be easy to get monitored, will you do it? Will you obediently follow the other's party setup you who wants freedom more than anything?"

''I will not do it, I will try to quickly earn my freedom as this will be the more efficient way. I will choose this option even more if I'm the rebellious type.'' The woman named Ceres immediately answered and upon hearing that response, the silver-haired beauty couldn't help but feel a little amused as the corners of her mouth perked up.

''I thought so.''

At the end of her sentence, she flicked her fingers and a black flame appeared and incinerated the letter of recommendation to oblivion, not even ash remained. It was a deadly flame that almost made the surrounding flowers wither as it appeared but fortunately it only appeared for a second.

In the meantime, Ceres stood calmly behind her master as she knew that she was not done and indeed the woman was not done as she still has something to say.

''Ceres, let's make a party. Let's become Hunters.'' She said with a bright smile resembling a child that found a good toy.

''I understand, I will make some arrangements.''

Ceres said before vanishing. She could have questioned this choice her master made but ultimately it would result in the latter dissatisfaction because she might sound easy to get along with but Ceres knew that her master hate useless questions and above everything else, she hate when her subordinate questioned her choice when she didn't ask for their opinion.

Once alone the silver-haired beauty stopped smiling and with a serious expression, she mumbled.

''Freedom Huh!"

She caressed the silver earrings on her ears while in deep thought.

''Maybe if it is you, you can truly achieve it.'' She added before vanishing in turn.

A few minutes later, one of the rarest cars from the forgotten era left the villa. It was a cosmic-grey-colored Bentley Exp 100 GT. Naturally, the silver-haired beauty was in the backseat with Ceres driving the car to their next location.

Back to Dante's side. Wearing a black turtleneck shirt and cream-colored tapered pants he departed from Blue Icy Hotel to go to the temple to get baptized.
